About: Your pet's new favorite human (after you, of course I bring veterinary experience and a foster's heart to every walk, drop-in, and boarding stay. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from high-energy pups to shy or sensitive pets who need a little extra patience. Whether we're out for a fun, structured walk or relaxing at home, I focus on keeping your pet safe, happy, and stress-free. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, so your pet feels understood and cared for every step of the way. I'm also confident with basic handling, medication routines, and keeping a clean, calm environment. Safety is always my priority-secure leashes, awareness of surroundings, and thoughtful care. You'll get plenty of updates, photos, and honest communication, so you always know how your pet is doing. With me, your pet gets more than just care-they get attention, patience, and lots of love. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I have worked in a full service veterinary hospital, and in my home, someone is always present—so pets get constant supervision, playtime, and companionship. I keep routines consistent and tailor care to each pet. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be part of our daily life. Safety and trust are my top priorities, especially when pets are staying in my home. I create a calm, structured environment where they can settle in comfortably and feel secure. My home features a fully fenced acre where dogs can safely run, play, sunbathe, or relax in the shade. I’m experienced managing multiple dogs and cats, so I carefully supervise all interactions and match energy levels to keep everyone safe and stress-free. I stick closely to your pet’s routine—including feeding schedules, medications, and preferences—so their stay feels familiar and consistent. With hands-on veterinary experience, I’m also able to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health and respond quickly if needed. Whether your dog loves to play or prefers a quieter space, I adjust to their needs and let them settle in at their own pace. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you can relax knowing your pet is in a safe, attentive, and loving environment.
“Gingi was quick to respond, and my pup Pi loved his time playing with her and her dog Twink! She sent us lots of photo updates showing how much fun Pi was having which helped me relax while I was out of town.”

“Annette was great! Chevie, who’s normally wary of other dogs, immediately started playing with her dog and settled in well! I appreciated all the outdoor/dog park time Chevie got. She was tired and relaxed when we got home!”

“Super great with communication, was able to take my dog on a play date and even met a dog of his own breed another English bulldog. Was very attentive and went above and beyond. Kept me updated on Romeo’s activities. Will book again!”

“Angela and her husband were absolutely amazing to my mini goldenoodle! I need somewhere or our dog to stay while painters painted inside our home. Angela is a gem! She was so easy to talk with and kept in touch with updates and photo. She went out of her way to make Millie feel comfortable and it worked. I think Millie would have moved in with her if I needed her to! I won’t hesitate to contact her again. She’s a superb choice for any person to wants/needs o leave their pet in a loving and caring home. Couldn’t think of anything she could do better❣️”

“Chayna was a lifesaver! I had my normal pet sitter cancel due to sickness (totally understandable) and Chayna was able to watch Argo with short notice - same day! He had a great time and received a lot attention and play time. I hope Argo can stay with her again sometime.”

I always follow your dog’s routine, ensure secure entry and exits, and keep them on a safe leash at all times. I pay close attention to their behavior, energy levels, and comfort, making sure they feel happy, calm, and well cared for while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and peace of mind are my top priorities

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
About: I have been providing care services and working with dogs since before my freshman year in college in 2016-17. Also, recently, I worked on a Research farm to further my knowledge on animal welfare, biosecurity, and the overall well-being of animals. I love what I do and always looking for new and different animals to provide care and I would be most honored! As of right now, pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine/schedule as I am currently working from home and finishing my master’s degree, therefore, I am flexible and available. I provide great and professional in-home care. For example, I am thorough and attentive throughout the stay by following the client’s care information and providing adequate potty and play times as well as any other routines followed in-home.
About: I've cared for a wide range of pets for many years and am adaptable to pets of all personalities and abilities! Creating a loving and positive environment for the pets is my top priority and I am committed to be a reliable pet care solution for every owner! As a Health Promotion student at UGA taking classes in the morning and afternoon, I am able to provide pet care in the evenings. I am very flexible with my days and hours! I can provide a safe and nurturing environment for your pet that allows me to devote my full attention to them! I am extremely attentive to your pet's health and their specific needs!

“Joanna & Sebastian were absolutely wonderful! They were very quick to respond to our last minute request and were super patient with our nervous dog. They sent us updates and photos so I felt very comfortable! I would definitely book with them again in the future!”

“Nikki and Tom are on the ball with their communication -- responsive in scheduling and eager to share pics of your pup throughout the day. Having a trusted place for my dog on busy days is a godsend. Thank you!”

About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I have my own transportation for at-home visits as well.
About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. I have 2 dogs as well. All of my animals are pet friendly with everything as many animals have come through my care fostering. I'm skilled in exotic pet care as well if necessary. I currently only work weekend overnights in the ER. So, I am home all week caring for my fur babies. As well as yours hopefully! I strive to care for anyone's else's pets exactly as I would my own. When they are with me, they are my babies too. I bring my ER compassion with me when I pet sit, in the ER the pets are without their owners & they are scared on top of being hurt. While my pet sits may not be hurt, I'm aware they could be nervous & unfamiliar. I try to treat them with the upmost compassion & kindness.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
