“JR and his family are absolutely the best for my dog sitting needs. This is the second time my dog Findley has stayed with JR and both times I arrive back home to a calm happy dog. My dog is quite spoiled and JR is happy following my dogs feeding and treat routine. JR takes him for walks and plays ball with him in the nice fenced in yard. Receiving pictures while I’m on vacation is a wonderful plus that eases my mind while I am missing my dog. JR treats dogs like family and is very responsive when messaging. I highly recommend JR and so thankful to have him take good care of Findley!”

“My furbaby was well taken care of- it was evident from the pics I received multiple times a day, FaceTimes and when I came to pick him. I had zero worries about my little boy while enjoying my vacation- thank you so much for the excellent care.”

“5 stars all the way! My Shiba Inu had the best time with Heather and her family last week—it was like a wilderness vacation for him! Their backyard is way bigger than ours, and he loves having all that space to run and explore. I got daily photo updates and great communication the whole time. He was clearly happy and well cared for, which made it easy for us to relax on our vacay. This is our second booking and we’ll definitely be back!”

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
About: I am a full time professional in the law enforcement field that offers house sitting and pet sitting to the citizens of Hall County. Trust that your sweet babies (pets) are in caring and trustworthy hands while you are out and about enjoying your vacation, work trip, etc. I have been pet sitting on an “as needed” basis for approximately 3 years now. References available upon request. Any special requests? Feel free to ask and I will tell you if that is something I can/am willing to do. Rapid response time, generally within a few hours but occasionally within 24 hours depending on my work schedule. If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a message and ask. Thank you for reading this far, have a good day ☺️ I am currently working full-time with Tuesdays as 12 hour work days (8A-8p). Outside of that I do 3-5 workouts a week. I ensure that when I am scheduled to love your animals any other time is spent with them. I have pet sit in 2-3 regular’s homes for the past 8 years and aside from that have done drop-in visits daily for others at their home. Specialty diets, hiding the medications in pill pockets, taking walks, etc - I have done it.
“Rene was fabulous with my little morkie Stella! She sent me multiple updates a day as well as pictures. I will be using Rene again in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Richard is the absolute best. Very professional, accommodating and understanding. I know my sweet pup is in the best of care whenever she stays with Richard. Top shelf.”

“Chayna was wonderful. This was a last minute booking and she responded promptly. She kept us informed with how he was doing, and sent pictures and videos. All the pictures showed Butters having a great time making new friends and being loved on. I didn't feel one ounce of fear leaving him with her. I highly recommend, and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Chayna!”

“Stacy was absolutely wonderful! I really appreciated that she wanted to set up a meet and greet before booking. It gave me peace of mind knowing she genuinely cares to make sure it was a good fit. While we were away, she gave very detailed updates every day with several pictures and videos. I was reassured once I saw how happy Cinnamon looked in the pictures. I will definitely book with Stacy again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Amazing care!! Christina and her husband are awesome, Leon loved them and now they will be Leon's sitters whenever is requiered, bottom line is: above and beyond, Recommended 100%”

“I can't recommend [Pet Sitter's Name] highly enough! She took amazing care of my dog while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind throughout the entire stay. She treated my pup like her own, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. One thing I especially appreciated was the daily updates. She sent messages and pictures every day, letting me know how my dog was doing and sharing little moments from their time together. It made being away so much easier and reassured me that my pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When I returned, my dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly had a wonderful time. I am so grateful for the excellent care and communication, and I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

About: I've taken care of all different types of pets since I was young. I've had pets my entire life and have taken care of them or years. I have pet sat for friends and family multiple times. I have experience feeding, walking, playing with, cleaning up after, changing litter, and bathing both cats and dogs. I am currently a preschool teacher working about 9-hour days during weekdays. On weekends, I will have all day to love on and play with your fur babies. We have 2 cats in our house that get along with dogs and a large yard that they can play in. I can do feeding, walking, playing with, cleaning up after, and bathing dogs from my home. I'm good with animals and have never met a pet that I couldn't befriend.

“DeAnne was AMAZING. I am someone who’s never left their dog with anyone other than family so I was a little anxious about it but she exceeded all expectations and really went above and beyond to keep me updated and put me at ease. She was absolutely wonderful with my German shepherd, he had a blast. She is truly 10/10 and SO kind and passionate about these animals! I will definitely be using her from here on out. Thank you so much DeAnne!!”

“Thank you, Frida, for taking such good care of our dog while on vacation. She is the best; she kept us updated every day even though we were distraught since it was our first time using Rover, but after the first day, we knew she was in good hands. We will hire her again. Great job ??”

“Erica did a great job with my buddy Thor. He was super spoiled and loved by her and her family. I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come back home 😂. I could tell by the pictures he was smiling, soaking up all the attention and love. Would definitely book him for another stay in the future ❤️”

“Always takes amazing care of our energetic baby! Follows all instructions with care and provides detailed updates with pictures. Luca loves his time with this family and he’s very picky!”

“Kathryn was wonderful with our dog, Sadie! She was so responsive and kept us updated through out the weekend with photos. They played fetch, cuddled on the couch, and had the best time. Will certainly reach out again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
