“Courtney was great with my furbaby. She was timely, professional, kind, dependable, and took good care of my baby on his walks. We look forward to working with her again soon. Great job!!!”

About: I have three pets of my own, a cat and two dogs. I have assisted in training all of them in obedience and impulse control. I love to play, walk and snuggle all animals and sometimes teach them what I’m learning in school! I am a student at UAB and have lots of time to stop by to check on your babies. This semester I am done with class around lunch time except for on Tuesday (I have a later class). Proximity to UAB is ideal but I don’t mind driving a little farther every now and then. I always clean up after any mess your pet may make and ensure the house is tidy before you come home. I don’t mind cleaning a litter box or following any other house rules.

About: Hi, my name is Kyla! I am currently a Wildlife Biology major who loves animals of all kinds! I'm experienced with both large and small dogs, as well as cats. I have a Terrier mix, a Chihuahua, Pitbull, and a german Sheppard back home with a tabby cat I live with now. I enjoy playing with them all, teaching them new tricks, and going on regular walks. I'm very flexible and will try my best to work with your busy schedule. Don't hesitate to reach out for any additional needs such as putting food out, giving treats, or refilling water bowls. I understand that animals can get anxious when their hoomans are away and I will be sure to make sure they feel safe and as calm as can be. I'm thrilled to get to know your best friend and go above and beyond in any way that I can. I am currently on summer break, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I am available all day on Tuesday-Friday and on some weekends! I am in an apartment with a cat of my own, I do not offer boarding or doggy daycare. I will be available to drop by to walk, feed, or play with your fur baby!

About: I’m a very conscientious, non-smoking, animal loving and trust worthy pet caretaker. I understand how much commitment and dedication it takes to watch over your precious fur babies. I take great pride in feeding, walking, watering, playing, and showing endless affection to your pawsome fur babies while they are away from you. Just tell me what to do once and I’m great at following directions. I’ll be glad to keep you updated with pictures throughout the visit. Some services I offer include the following but are not limited to dog walking, dog bathing, dog sitting, checking up on your dog/puppy through out the day or staying the night and making sure your pup doesn’t even realize your gone. I am a stay at home mom with no other limitations, which means I’m at your disposal. I’m so excited to meet and care for your fur babies! .....I’m also not limited to just dogs and cats. I have experience with horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and all reptiles/invertebrates. Hey I know the last thing you want is picking up a stinky dog after a long vacation. I offer additional services like bathing your dog + $15 Teeth brushing ear cleaning and nail clipping + $10 Deshedding or brushing + $5 Let me know if they have allergies so I can use hypoallergenic soap. These services are not limited to boarding I can do them for doggy day care or if you want me to pick them up and bring them home clean for an additional $15 I can do as well. Me and my husband work together by tag teaming. I work from about 9-4 and he stays home with the kids and helps care for the dogs in my care while I’m away. I get up early so they will be taken out 2 times before I ever leave for work When I care for pets in my home or someone else’s, I make sure they have fresh water, healthy food, and a clean, safe environment at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules and any medical routines like giving medication. I spend quality time with the pets by playing with them, grooming them, and giving them attention so they feel loved and comfortable. I also pay close attention to their behavior and watch for any signs of stress or illness, and I communicate any concerns right away. Most importantly, I treat every pet with kindness and respect, just like I would with my own.

About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

“Hannah was very sweet and everyone seemed happy when I got home! Her report of my doggo peeing repeatedly let us know a UTI was brewing and we were able to get vet care sooner. And she was very patient with having to clean up multiple puddles of pee that we above and beyond a normal dog walking duty!”

About: I truly enjoy creating a calm, loving environment where your animals feel at home. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet I care for like one of my own:) Currently a third year medical student at UABHSOM who is always looking for a furry friend to be around and take study breaks with! I love incorporating walks, playtime, and rest into my daily routine with the pets I take care of. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible! I want to take the time to learn yours and your pet’s preferences and give them the care they deserve while keeping your life stress free!

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m reliable, gentle, and pay close attention to your pet’s needs. I have experience with both energetic puppies and senior dogs who need a little extra care and patience. Whether it’s giving meds, keeping a consistent routine, or just offering lots of snuggles, I’m here to make your pet feel safe and loved while you’re away!! I'm a junior in college with a very flexible schedule, and I’m home often and have plenty of free time during breaks. I love being active and outdoors, so walks and playtime are a fun part of my day. I’m also happy to relax with pets who just need company and cuddles! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, I always believe that consistency is key and aim to follow their routine closely so their environment is calm and comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure they get plenty of love, playtime, and attention. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, and always clean up after myself and the pets.

About: I began pet setting in 2020 during my junior year of high school. From there, I have worked as a kennel technician at The Pawms Pet Resort, Greensprings Animal Clinic, and Village Veterinary Clinic, culminating in over 5 years of pet care experience. My time working in veterinary offices has made me comfortable with administering medications and complex care regimens. I am currently devoting all of my time to caring for your pets! My schedule is completely open to fit whatever routine your pet is used to! Whether I’m visiting your home or taking your pup out for a walk, I treat every pet like they’re my own. From playtime to water breaks and timely potty breaks, I’m all about the little things to keep your pet content. I’ll follow your routine closely and keep you updated with plenty of pictures so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands!

About: Pets are family. Period. Trusting family to a stranger is stressful, but with our years of experience having dogs you can rest easy knowing that your pup is with a couple who cares, communicates, and keeps them safe. I served as the Dean of Students at Birmingham-Southern College until it closed. Since then, I've pivoted out of higher education and now work from home and have a flexible schedule. My wife also works from home, so we'll both cater to the needs of your pup and care for them like they were members of our own dog family. We do not have children, so our focus will be on your four-legged companion. We have a home in Southside near UAB with a fully fenced-in backyard, including a doggie door! We have two pups of our own, Barley & Greta, who love having friends visit. Barley is on the older side, but Greta is 2 years old and loves to play play play! We're close to Glen Iris School and UAB, so our walks are relaxing and have plenty of opportunities for fetch.

About: Hello! My name is Paris, and I’m a 24 year old UAB student studying biology currently. When I'm not in class, l work at an animal clinic, and l spend my free time around the best furry friends around. I have three and a half years of experience watching, bathing, feeding, walking, and general care of both dogs and cats alike. I also have a shepherd mix l adopted from the humane society about two and a half years ago along with a sweet all black kitty l recently adopted. I love animals, and l am completely devoted to the needs of pets and their owners alike. With priorities surrounding school and being part time at the animal clinic l work at, l would love an opportunity to make some extra money doing what l love the most. I would appreciate you contacting me for any of your furry friends needs, and l would be glad to be accommodating in any way l can! I currently work part time at a vet clinic, but l am still open as far as availability throughout the week. I have the ability to take my dog to work if needed along with yours so your pup wouldn't have to be left alone while I'm gone. I currently have a dog and live in avondale near several dog parks great for outdoor daytime play! I also have an extra crate and would be happy to adhere to any requests as far as crate rest or training at night or at intervals throughout the day.

About: I have helped take care of my personal pets (a cat and dog) for 10+ years, and I have been a Rover sitter for over a year. I have experience giving oral medications for both dogs and cats, and I can give your dog lots of physical activity. Visiting peoples’ pets is the best part of my day! I am a medical student, so my daily schedule varies depending on what mandatory events I have. I am typically available for early morning and afternoon/evening drop-ins, and I can usually work around my schedule for midday drop-ins. I have much more flexibility on weekends. I can do house sitting, but I am probably not the best option if your pet can’t be alone for less than 6 hours. I live with my family and our dog and cat, so I would prefer to take care of your animals in your home, and would be happy to come and go or stay at your house. I am clean, respectful, and dependable and will leave your house just as I found it. Would love to love on your animals when you are not able to!
