“Aubrey and Prarana are fantastic! Very responsive, they communicate regularly while sitting with pictures and detailed reports. We have a puppy who needs a lot of play and attention - Aubrey seems to really enjoy working with him! We’ve used them twice for overnights and I’m so relieved to have found reliable people who truly love animals to stay in my home. 10/10 recommend!”

“Ericka was fantastic and professional! We had a last minute booking and she put our minds at ease that Tank would be taken care of with ease. Ericka was so clean that we hardly could tell she was in our space and we really appreciate that. She also texted us pics and videos and was sure to check in a couple times a day. We would totally book with her again!”

“I am Brooke’s first client with Rover and I definitely won’t be her last! She was a delight to have stay in my house with my three dogs. We will definitely be asking Brooke back to help us out when we travel. Highly recommend her!”

“Erika was wonderful! She took such good care of my girl (Rosie - a golden doodle)...took her on walks, watched movies with her (my dog loves to cuddle and watch tv), played with her and more. Erika is responsible and dependable and am booking her for a lot more assignments! Thank you, Erika!”

About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) I have been helping my friends and family care for their pets for 10 years now and have enjoyed each opportunity to care for these fur babies. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). The sincere bond I form with pets of all kinds is what makes my friends and acquaintances turn to me as their first choice for a sitter. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! I have experience training my reactive dog and am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

“Amazing communication, super respectful and kind. She left the place cleaner than we did and even did some of our yucky dishes which was so unnecessary! Can’t wait to book her again.”

About: My family has been boarding dogs since I was 10 years old, so I grew up taking care of animals. Between the hundreds of dogs I’ve cared for, I have never met a dog, big or small, that I didn’t like. I walk, feed, and pick up after dogs every day! My schedule tightens when college starts in late September, but my summers and weekends are very flexible! I am always willing to negotiate for most times of day. I like to take pictures of the dogs I meet to send to the owners as a check up (with permission). I am always attentive and prioritize confirming the animal’s wellbeing above all else, whether that be making sure the dog eats before I leave or is cool enough in the California heat.

“We can't thank Maryan enough for the incredible care she provided for our dogs while we were on vacation—she’s truly the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She kept us updated with regular photos and messages, giving us peace of mind. Maryan went above and beyond, maintaining their routine and providing extra playtime and affection. She even left our house clean and tidy, which was a wonderful bonus. We returned home to two very happy and relaxed girls, which speaks volumes about her care. We highly recommend Maryan to anyone in need of a reliable and loving dog sitter. We’ll definitely be reaching out for our next trip!”

“Jenna was fantastic at taking care of our fur babies while we were away for the weekend! She helped us last minute which was much appreciated, and helped us feel at ease during our stay away with so many pictures and videos. Our dog got so many walks in, he was spoiled indeed. And our house was well taken care of as well. Thank you so much Jenna for everything! We truly appreciate it 🙏🏻”

My wife and I are lifelong pet lovers-we both grew up in homes filled with animals and couldn't imagine life without them. For us, pets are true family members, and we care for every dog we host as if they were our own. I work part-time, and my wife is a full-time stay-at-home mom, so one (or both) of us is always home to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and playtime throughout the day. We're available any day of the week, and our schedule is very flexible. ⏰Drop-offs and pick-ups are usually best between 8:00AM and 10:00 PM, as we adjust our routine around our baby's schedule-but we're happy to discuss other times if needed (additional fees may apply). We only host one Rover family at a time to ensure your pet receives our full attention and care. If you have two dogs, we're more than happy to welcome both! Otherwise, your pup will be our only guest during their stay. 👶🏻Our baby also adores dogs! Just let us know if your pup is comfortable around children so we can make sure it's the right fit. 🔒Our home is always secure-doors are locked, and all outdoor time is fully supervised. We have both a fenced and an open yard for play, and we run HVAC 24/7 to keep the indoor temperature comfortable year-round. Feel free to book a Meet & Greet or message us with any questions! Bonus: We also speak Spanish!

About: Dogs have been loved and cared for in my family since I can remember. When I was a young girl, I had a Labrador Retriever that gave birth to ten puppies. It really strengthened and solidified my love for dogs. Currently, we have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Cookie. She's full of love, personality and independence. We adopted her in March of 2019 and we are so lucky to have her as part of our family. She's one of the best dogs that's been a part of our family. I'm a mom of four young men, have had dogs all my life and have a lot of love to share. I look forward to spending time with your dog and taking he or she for walks with some social stimulation and being one with nature. I love dogs so much!! Whenever I can be with doggies who love to walk, have fun and be loved, life indeed has true balance. We walk our dog, Cookie, at least twice a day, either around the neighborhood, at the park or on a hike. Always make sure she has fresh water, delicious food and lots of love.

“Alexis and his Wife Melissa have stayed with my dog multiple times, on time I was in vacations and they were absolutely great at taking care of my pug, they REALLY love dogs, so I knew they were the persons to take care of my dog when I was away, they took her for a walk twice a day, feed her just like I explained to them, and even Slept with her on the living room haha, I know all of this because they would FaceTime me a lot so I could rest assure that my pug was having a good time while I was away, I would trust my dog to them any time on the future after that week they took care of her, after that they have checked on her a couple of hours, and every time with a smile and happy because I let them stay with my dog, I fully recommend them to take care of other dogs since I trust my dog as much as I trust the other owners 🙌🏻”
