She has a calm demeanor and you can tell she loves cats. While we were away, she sent photos and was attentive to our kitty, putting ice in her water when the weather was warm. She reached out to ask questions when anything came up. This was comforting to us because we’d rather her ask than just assume. Olivia was great and we highly recommend her to anyone in need of a wonderful cat sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with my friends’ dogs and personal dogs (two French Bulldogs and a Boston Terrier). I am comfortable with all breeds (as long as they are friendly!) I am confident and will make sure the dog and I understand each other during our walks. I am available to walk dogs after 4PM during the week and my weekends are open! I can do home stays/boarding on the weekends only. I have no pets and will be giving my full attention to yours with food, water, treats, naps, playtime, etc. I have an open green space and the dog will be leashed at all times outside of the home.

About: I’ve had dogs of many breeds & ages my entire life. I especially love senior dogs. Have studied dog behavior & training through out the years & feel I have a good understanding of “pack behavior”. I am retired & your 4 legged fur babies will be my priority. I love getting to know new dog friends & enjoy spending my day playing with them out in my yard & taking walks. I have a nice back yard which is completely fenced with avocado trees & lots of things to sniff. I have 2 dogs, 1 tiny senior named Monster & a large mixed breed 4 year old named Stanley. Both are extremely friendly, well behaved & very socialized.

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all sizes and temperaments. I am very comfortable handling a wide range of personalities on and off leash. Currently I have two dogs who are reactive, so I’m very familiar with managing behavior challenges calmly and safely. I’m experienced in giving medications when needed and take pride in providing calm, consistent, and loving care. I have a flexible schedule, a reliable vehicle, and am open to helping with overnights. I am not working elsewhere currently so I'm ready to make caring for your pet part of my routine! This also enables me to be much more flexible to fit you and your pet's needs. I am able to care for them in your home only at this time. This way they will feel their most comfortable while we get to know each other.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong safety background and experience with dogs of all ages and needs. I’m CPR certified through both lifeguarding and memory care, giving me the ability to stay calm and respond quickly in emergencies. I have hands-on experience with both puppy care (including basic training, housebreaking, and socialization) and senior dogs (gentle handling, administering medications, and adjusting routines for mobility or comfort). I also prioritize keeping dogs active, happy, and mentally engaged, whether that means long walks, playtime, or calm companionship. But, I love to be active because I have a love for exercise and I am on the UCSB’s Women’s Soccer Team. I treat every dog like family — with patience, consistency, and love. I’m currently working part time as both a college mentor and an event staff worker for UCSB athletic events. I have a dog that I’ve had for 10 years and have had other animals in the past that are like children to me. I am currently on the UCSB women’s soccer team and love to be active. I obviously want to make you feel as comfortable and confident that your pet is being cared for and safe. I would love to send pictures updating how the day, nights and walks have gone. As a pet owner of a dog that is a runner, I know how crucial it is to make sure doors are closed. I am also used to having a dog that gets into trash and clothes, so I know how to be organized for the safety of the environment.

About: I had taken care of my pet dog for over 6 years, got her when she was 4 weeks old and we enjoyed every second together! I work at a local coffee shop for 4 hours 5 days a week. I am usually working the morning shifts leaving my afternoons completely available for other activities such as taking your sweet pet for a walk. Since losing my pet I have learned to love my friends and families pets as my own. I cannot bear the idea of losing another pet therefore, I truly enjoy spending quality time with my friends pets.

About: We live with our pup Stella and 2 bunnies. Our kids, age 11 and 13, love animals and are accustomed to helping dogs feel comfortable in a new place. When we aren’t sitting we volunteer for the “dogs day out” program at SBCAS. Though Rover doesn't list rabbit/gerbil/guinea pig care, that is something we are experienced with and you can select “dog visit” for that. We also have cat care experience from fostering kittens. On a typical day someone is always at home. Our walks are usually on More Mesa but we also love hikes and beach walks! For tiny dogs we’re happy to limit the walks to our neighborhood for safety. Our pets are our family and safety is #1. We understand the level of trust you put in someone to have them cared for while you’re away.

“Kimberly was truly amazing. She was able to look after our two cats last minute after our other cat sitter had a family emergency. She was incredibly responsive and made sure to keep us updated with very detailed notes and sent us the cutest photos which made my day. She even got our ghost cat to come out of hiding to play (no small feat)!! She went above and beyond when she cleaned all of the litter my cat decided to throw out of the litter box and around the bathroom (I am so sorry for that) and just was overall an amazing cat sitter. About: I’m really good with cats and will win over any shy cat (with time of course). I will love on your dog or cat and give them all the attention they need. I can give both dogs and cats medicine if needed. I’ve given sub-q injections to multiple senior cats. I helped train my family dog as a teenager. About: Hi, I'm Philip! I grew up with animals, and have always been around them for as long as I can remember. I started helping to take care of our cats, dogs, fish, and birds at home when I was about 7 years old, and have taken more complex and more numerous animal responsibilities since then. I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards for friends, family, and community throughout my teens and adult life. Daily pet care is as much a part of my routine as much as it is for the pets. I'm a scientist and engineer by trade, and I try to incorporate data on behavior, hygiene, and diet into my pet care practices (while prioritizing data from you, the pet parent!). I respect each animal's unique situation, and always do my best to make sure their needs and sensitivities are met. I've been told that I spoil pets by devoting so much time and energy to them, but so far none of the animals have complained! I promise that your fur babies will be in good hands. Thanks for considering me! I'm currently working part-time, and I currently live in an apartment with my partner and our cats. I'm not currently able to offer board for animals, but I am happy to check in, walk, or pet-sit/house-sit any day after 1pm, overnight on weekends, or overnight on pre-scheduled days of the week. I keep a list (whether mental or physical) of each pet's unique needs, and I incorporate their care into my daily routine. I always start by checking in with the pet themself, and let them know I'm there with them. I'll move on to other priorities and needs, as I'm informed about them. I always make sure to spend enough time with a pet to learn their habits, as well as their "tells" if something is wrong. I'm also big on open communication, and am happy to send text, photo, or video updates during each visit!

About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I love walking them, taking them on fun outdoor adventures and also checking in on them while you are out and about. I may not currently have a pet of my own but I promise I will love yours as if they were my own. My schedule is very open and I make my own hours with the part-time work that I do. I’m great with puppies who need a little training and older dogs who just want a slow, relaxing stroll. I make sure every walk is fun, safe, and full of good sniffing spots! Plus, I know how to handle leash manners, basic commands, and even give meds if needed. Most of all, I treat every dog like my own, so you can trust they’ll get plenty of care and attention while we’re out and about. I will always make time to take care of animals. About: Hello! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 for neighbors, friends, and family. I can walk, bath, dog sit, and give medication to dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs throughout the years until they were able to find homes of their own. I have taken care of multiple sick, blind, and elderly dogs some of which required being carried to eat/got potty. I love spending time with animals and love getting know each new dogs personality! I am currently a student at UCSB and I am usually the busiest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Other days of the week I have quite a bit of free time and would love nothing more than to spend that time with animals! For dog sitting it is important to me that I treat the clients dog/s with respect as well as their home. I have handled multiple blind, sick, and old dogs who need medication and I am familiar with their specific needs. I will communicate with the client to ensure the dogs needs are met and keep the clients dog entertained and healthy. I also understand that some dogs require more space than others and I am always sure to respect boundaries that the dog may want. Previously taking care of other people’s dogs I have taken them on frequent walks and made sure they were well cared for while their owners were away.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was around the age of 8, whether that was someone I was pet sitting for or one of my own dogs. I am open to any dogs needed schedule and love keeping them company! Currently my schedule is very open, so I am available a lot of the time. I do have other work occasionally but am usually completely free during holidays! I have a yard that is clean with a designated bathroom spot. The house is very open and roaming is aloud at all times of the day!
