About: I’ve loved cats ever since I was little and continued to spread my love for them throughout my years. I have 2 adorable kittens and I’m currently caring for my sister’s 7 yr old cat when she is away/busy. I also offer my help to friends when they need it. As of right now my schedule is pretty open during the day. I prefer working during 9am - 5pm on weekdays. I am open to other times if discussed prior. When given instructions to care for your pet, I take them seriously and will do my best to make your pet comfortable and happy when you are away.

“Great communicator & clearly enjoys caring for animals. We received great pics of the boys playing and eating. Both cats are on different prescription diets and it can get complicated. Sophia navigated it with ease. Will definitely use Sophia again.”

“Kimberly was awesome! She went above and beyond to make sure my cat Chip was doing well ❤️. She made sure to communicate with me when she dropped in and sent me pictures of my cat during her visit. And she gave detailed rover reports after every visit. I really appreciated her communication style. And I would definitely book again :)”

“Ben did a wonderful job checking in on our cats while we were away for a week! He bonded right away with both the cats, even the more shy one. And we got lots of cute photos of them snuggling all week long :)”

“Debra is super flexible and accommodating and has been so great to work with as i start a new job and figure out a new schedule that works for me and my little guy. Im glad to get to work with her!”

“Without a single doubt, contacting/hiring Jessie through Rover was a great decision. Not only was she easy to talk to and get ahold of, but she took perfect care of our cats - who have since told me that they miss her dearly.”

“Ava was awesome!! She was so attentive, communicative, thoughtful, and has a true love for cats. She even came multiple times during the day beyond what I had booked. 20/10 would recommend.”

“Cambria brought her adorable German Shepherd mix puppy to our house to play with our nearly two year old Australian Shepherd. They were perfect play partners. Cambria is kind, professional, and definitely a dog lover. We highly recommend Cambria!”

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all sizes and temperaments. I am very comfortable handling a wide range of personalities on and off leash. Currently I have two dogs who are reactive, so I’m very familiar with managing behavior challenges calmly and safely. I’m experienced in giving medications when needed and take pride in providing calm, consistent, and loving care. I have a flexible schedule, a reliable vehicle, and am open to helping with overnights. I am not working elsewhere currently so I'm ready to make caring for your pet part of my routine! This also enables me to be much more flexible to fit you and your pet's needs. I am able to care for them in your home only at this time. This way they will feel their most comfortable while we get to know each other.

About: I’ve always had a special love for animals, and although I’ve never been able to have a dog or cat of my own, I have experience with dog sitting and cat sitting; whether it be day long or month long at my house, or frequent visits to others houses. I've dog-sat young puppies and elder dogs needing extra medical care. I've had 2 years of experience volunteering at local animal shelters as well! I am a full-time student at UCSB, I am usually free all day on weekends but I’m able to communicate how my class schedule will fit around caring for your pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to run around, I’ll make sure everything is in great shape for your furry friend. In both my home and yours, your pet is my number 1 priority. I also have an SUV that I'm able to transport your pet in if desired.

“Sarah did such a fantastic job watching over my kitties. Both of my cats seemed to warm up to her immediately (usually it takes a few days). My kitties looked happy in all of the update pictures and I would absolutely have Sarah watch over my kitties again. Thank you so much!”

“Samantha took care of my two kitties cheesy and taco for two days. She did a great job scooping the litter boxes and feeding them their wet food. She hung out with the cats and gave them cuddles. Samantha was very communicative and very easy to coordinate details with. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: We live with our pup Stella and 2 bunnies. Our kids, age 11 and 13, love animals and are accustomed to helping dogs feel comfortable in a new place. When we aren’t sitting we volunteer for the “dogs day out” program at SBCAS. Though Rover doesn't list rabbit/gerbil/guinea pig care, that is something we are experienced with and you can select “dog visit” for that. We also have cat care experience from fostering kittens. On a typical day someone is always at home. Our walks are usually on More Mesa but we also love hikes and beach walks! For tiny dogs we’re happy to limit the walks to our neighborhood for safety. Our pets are our family and safety is #1. We understand the level of trust you put in someone to have them cared for while you’re away.

About: *PLEASE NOTE I will be moving away from the area soon, and cannot start any additional new long term care.** I have a range of experience from puppies to senior dogs, and love all of the personalities that come with different breeds. Our dog growing up was reactive from being involved in getting bullied as a puppy, and understand the nuances that come with dogs who need more patience and care. I love all animals like they’re my own, and love sending updates as regularly as needed to make you comfortable! I work from home (fully remote, no office to go into) and can work from anywhere I need to, my schedule is flexible as I’m a team of one and run HR at a start-up. I have no kids or pets of my own here. Your pet’s needs are my number 1 priority the second they come into my care, whether I’m visiting your home or they come to mine. Pets are treated with the upmost respect, love, and attention no matter what. I will never accept a request unless I can 120% commit myself to your baby!

About: I have 1 year of professional pet sitting experience, however, I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Not only does that include my own dogs, but friends’ dogs as well. I know the ins-and-outs of keeping them well cared for and happy, which includes frequent walks, feeding, playing, and much more! Back home, I own a French Bulldog and a Samoyed. I have owned a total of three dogs in my lifetime, and therefore have experience taking care of young puppies to adult dogs, even elderly pups. I also have experience with different breeds of all kinds! From stubborn huskies, to energetic Labradors, to calm Pitbulls. Additionally, owning a French Bulldog, I know that certain dogs have specific needs. I am more than happy to cater to whatever needs those might be. My goal is make sure your fur babies return happy and healthy, and you walk away feeling satisfied with their care. Hope you’re ok with tons of pictures! Once you book with me, my home becomes your pet’s home for the duration of their stay. I hope to hear from you soon! My schedule is wide open for the summmer, so all my attention can be on your fur-babies. I'm always willing to work around my client's schedules. I live in a very secure, quiet apartment building with a fenced off patio, which will keep your dog safe! Your pup’s safety is my top priority, so I will make any accommodations needed to ensure you feel good about leaving them in my care. I do not leave any food open on countertops, and will only feed your pet what is specifically meant for them. When walking, I try my best to avoid overly busy roads and look out for anything on the walk-route that could potentially be harmful to the dog. Depending on the breed, I will also make sure to time walks accordingly, making sure your pet doesn't over-exert themselves.

About: My name is Aya, and I’ve had dogs since childhood. Growing up with parents who are veterinarians, I was always surrounded by animals. My favorite dog was Subaru, a Black Labrador, and I still miss her dearly. Our last dog passed away in 2022 at the age of 14, and since then, we haven’t had pets at home. In 2023, we started working with Rover. So far, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting 32 dogs and their owners through Rover, and thankfully, many of them return to us. Our family consists of me, my husband David, our daughter Emma (4), and our baby Eva (12months). We all share a love for dogs and cats. David has had dogs since he was young, and his favorite was a mix of Husky and German Shepherd. He’s especially experienced with large dogs. He was also very fond of the last dog he had, a Norwegian Lundehund, and used to be a board member of the Norwegian Lundehund Association of America – NLAA, Inc. We’ve taken care of various dog breeds, from large to small, and it seems that German Shepherds are our daughter Emma’s favorite. For new to Rover, free to use discount coupon ($20 OFF) : AYAS20050 My husband, David, and I work from home. (David is a CPA, and I work for a study abroad agency while also caring for our baby at home.) We have flexible schedules, allowing us to take your dog out 3-4 times a day. We live in a small condo with a backyard where your dog can enjoy some outdoor time. We also go to the park with our daughters at least once a day, and we’d love to bring your dog along if they’re comfortable Our condo is fully fenced, so your dog will be safe and won’t be able to run away. Additionally, if you prefer, I can keep your dog on a leash both indoors and outdoors for extra peace of mind.

About: I’m really good with cats and will win over any shy cat (with time of course). I will love on your dog or cat and give them all the attention they need. I can give both dogs and cats medicine if needed. I’ve given sub-q injections to multiple senior cats. I helped train my family dog as a teenager. I’m currently working part time and taking one online college class. I will have time to come over and spend time with your pets. They can be my study buddies! I will love on your fur babies and keep them company! I don’t have any of my own (yet) so I’m looking for some to love on!
