I grew up with a dog for eight years, and as an adult I’ve continued to care for dogs through family, friends, and Rover. My Experience: - Raised and trained my own German Shepherd from puppyhood with both personal training and help from a professional - Cared for my sister’s two dogs - Boarded multiple dogs in my home through Rover - House‑sat for families and watched their dogs - Provided post‑surgery care, including after her spay - Comfortable giving pills or medications - Confident walking large or strong dogs What I Offer: I love getting outside, playing, going for walks, and making sure each dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. Whether your dog needs exercise, structure, or just some extra affection, I’m here to help. I am currently in between jobs, so I have plenty of time to care for your dog! I go to the gym in the mornings and early evenings. My days are pretty wide open and flexible. I would love to be able to take your dog outside and go for walks. I want them to feel safe and comfortable around me. If I am sitting at your home, then I want to make sure they are in their normal routine and doing the things they enjoy and need on a daily basis.

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: I've had pets in the house for as long as I can remember! Growing up we had dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, tortoises, fish, and frogs. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Yorkies to Rottweilers, and love them all. I currently have one cat named Olive, and plan to adopt a dog once I'm able to move to a larger space. I'm ready to take care of anything your pet needs - bathroom breaks, cat litter scooping, cleaning up accidents, refreshing water and food, play time, brushing, oral medication, etc. I'm currently working from home a few times per week, so I have a lot more flexibility in terms of scheduling pet care and walks. Summer weekends are typically busy, but if I'm in town I'm happy to help you out. I will always care for your animals as if they were my own. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible, especially during the first meeting. I'm always on alert for changes in body language and behaviors that may let me know their comfort level. Whether it's a drop-in or daily walks, my schedule is flexible. I have experience training dogs to a high standard of behavior and will use positive reinforcement only. About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. I can come by during the day, including weekends and holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. Please note that I accept in-home stays that are a minimum of two nights. I can come to your home and stay, or visit to let your dog out, walk, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!

“My diabetic cat with urinary problems was required to take 2 types of medicine, daily. My left paralysis handicap made that impossible for me to do. Ona eased my panic. She was on time, daily and gave him both medicines as professionally as a vet would do, and encouraged him as only an animal lover knows how to do. He loved her. Ona is a kind, personable person.
