I had a cat for 20 years and cage aninals when i was young. I have owned a dog with anxiety so patience was key. He needed Medication for that and his hips. I own two cats and a hedgehog. My cats come to a whistle, know how to sit and lay down, go to their blanket where ever it is. My older cat is great in the car and the younger cat I am currently training. I cut their nails and bathe them myself. Both are leash trained. I handle my hedgehog daily so that he is well socialized. My cats never bothered the rats or the hedgehog when let out of the cages. They would sleep woth the dog when no one was home.
