Pet care experience
Your pets new favorite nurse
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. I’ve raised puppies and kittens of my own all the way until they were old and frail. I also currently have a 2.5 year old Golden Retriever, so I’m very comfortable with the energy, routines, and attention that pets need. Over the years, I’ve also cared for friends’ pets while they’ve been out of town, and I pet sat as a side gig during college. These experiences have given me plenty of practice caring for different personalities, following individual routines, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and would treat your pets like my own! And I’m obsessed with my high maintenance dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any other specific instructions you provide. I’ll also make sure they get plenty of attention and affection so they feel as comfortable as possible in their own home. Since I have dogs of my own, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m also always happy to give thorough updates as well!

I could not think of a better person to trust with your dog than Brandi. She is truly one of the biggest dog people I know and loves every dog like they are her own. I swear at any gathering she is finding the dog before she even says hi to the people. She has known and loved my dogs for years, and I have always trusted her completely with them. She gives them so much love and attention, knows how to read them and what they need, and is just one of those people that dogs naturally love and feel comfortable around. She is caring, responsible, and also just really knows dogs. Brandi has watched and cared for my dogs for me plenty of times over the years, and I’ve always known they were in the best hands with her. I never have to worry about them when they’re with her because I know they’re being loved on, taken care of, and probably spoiled a little too. I would trust her with them again and again!
Brandi is wonderful with animals. She has taken care of my dogs and cats over several years. She loves animals and treats them like her own showing them plenty of love, attention, and any needed exercise. She is very dependable and can be fully trusted with your fur-babies.
I have known Brandi’s love for animals her entire life, it’s not a hobby or something she recently discovered; caring for animals is truly part of who she is. Side note: As kids, she happily let me dress her up as a Dalmatian and photograph her outside our actual doghouse! Today, that same love has grown into the way she cares for her own golden retriever, Bear, whom she’s convinced is a human child. Brandi is incredibly attentive to his health, happiness, exercise, and comfort. Bear gets regular neighborhood walks and hikes, plenty of enrichment and toys, dog accessories up the wa-zoo, “pup cups” at the ice cream shop and regular car trips to Brandi’s hometown to visit family in the country and at the family lake house. She is diligent about noticing and addressing everything from digestive issues to skin allergies, and she takes his wellbeing very seriously. Brandi is also a nurse, so she is responsible, observant, nurturing, and comfortable caring for others. Most importantly, she genuinely loves animals, possibly more than people. I would trust her completely with any pet and know she would treat someone else’s dog or cat with the same care, patience, and affection she gives Bear. You’d be so lucky to have her as your pet sitter, but forewarning, your pets may have a new favorite human after spending time with her!

Schedule
I’m a nurse and work four days a week, which means I have weekends and one weekday off each week. My weekday off varies, but I typically know my schedule about 8 weeks in advance. I’m pretty flexible on my days off, so I’m generally very open when it comes to scheduling pet care. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and your needs!
