For the most part I'm always in the same room with them. Even if they go off into another room I'll check on them every fifteen minutes or so. If the yard isn't fenced, I'll make sure they are leashed before leaving for a walk.

I have a five year old dog right now, half shepherd and half retriever but I have someone to watch him so your pup gets all the attention.
A typical day
Hikes at Big Woods or Coyote Den Trail. Plenty of time playing fetch at one of the local parks. Shopping excursions at pet stores. Belly rubs and head scratches.

Whether your pup is an adventure dog, looking for hikes in the woods or just a chill dog looking to people watch on the porch, I'm a great canine companion. I have a shepherd/retriever pup myself and we love exploring all the trails. Also fine with hanging out in the yard or on the porch, so there will be plenty of fresh air. My work schedule is very flexible so anytime your dog needs attention, I'm there for him or her. I've had either a dog or a cat my whole life and grew up taking care of animals on a farm in western New York.
