Whether your pup is an adventure dog, looking for hikes in the woods or just a chill dog looking to people watch on the porch, I'm a great canine companion. I have a shepherd/retriever pup myself and we love exploring all the trails. Also fine with hanging out in the yard or on the porch, so there will be plenty of fresh air. My work schedule is very flexible so anytime your dog needs attention, I'm there for him or her. I've had either a dog or a cat my whole life and grew up taking care of animals on a farm in western New York.

Safety, trust & environment
For the most part I'm always in the same room with them. Even if they go off into another room I'll check on them every fifteen minutes or so. If the yard isn't fenced, I'll make sure they are leashed before leaving for a walk.

Matthew is great with our dog. When Jagger sees him pull in the driveway, he's ready to go!
Matthew was wonderful helping out with my pup. We went on a long camping trip, but since my dog is 13, we thought she'd be more comfortable at home. Matt came to walk and feed her a few times a day and to give pets and provide her company. Very thankful for his help - would definitely reach out to him again next vacation!
Went above and beyond for a mistake i made on the rover app. Life saver!

Wonderful and super helpful
I had a great experience with Matthew, while I was away for a week. My cat, Rita, is extremely shy and never comes out for strangers, but he followed all of my instructions perfectly. He was always on time, communicated well, and sent photos at every visit so I knew exactly what was going on. He made sure Rita’s medication was left where she would get it, kept an eye on her food, cleaned the litter box, and even took my trash to the curb before I returned home. Knowing my cat was being cared for gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter.

Schedule
Everything from feeding to grooming to checking and removing ticks. Our dog is still pretty young so I don't have expertise giving shots but have given meds.
