I strive to treat all kitties as if they are my own and that applies to your space too. I will strive to leave everything as it was. I understand the trust it takes to let someone into your space especially with your beloved family member and I take that very seriously. I have passed the level 1 background check Rover requires sitters to take to offer services on the app and I've also passed a level 2 background check, which is an in-depth, fingerprint-based criminal background screening that checks both state databases and the FBI’s national database, which is required for me to maintain my health insurance license.

Let me know if your kitty has any special needs or requests. Every kitty I've known seems to have something unique they like or the most random ritual no human could ever come up with! Do they need the food dish rattled around before they eat? Do they go to a specific carpet to request scratchies? Do they have a beloved cement block that needs to be warmed in the sun so they can bask on it? Lemme know! :)
A typical day
I love to give kitties lots of play time and pets and snuggles if they want, but if they are hesitant about me, I respect their boundaries and just make sure they know they're cared for with food, water, meds, and a clean litter box until their family comes home. I also love to get them some fresh air if available via a window, catio, or leash or stroller walks if applicable.

Cat care experience
I've almost always had cats in my life, I grew up with them and adopted my own as an adult. I have experience with kittens as well as seniors and in between. I also have experience leash training kittens. I will be obssesed with your cat even if they are hesitant about me. I've cat sit for kitties that are happy to see me and grumpy ones that want me to kick rocks. I respect their boundaries and love them all! I also have experience caring for other animals so lemme know if you need someone to watch your goat (or other unique pet)! 😁

Emily has been a friend of mine for a few years now and she is the kindest person ive ever met, especially towards animals. My cat pika adores her, shes the only person my cat doesnt hiss at even. I highly recommend hiring Emily. with her, the pets will be cared for beyond expectations and loved as though they were her own.
Emily took great care of my baby girl! She is super reliable, detail-oriented and communicative. Plus all the pictures she took were awesome. We returned home to my cat’s regular silly goofy self. Would highly recommend to other cat parents!
I can highly recommend Emily as a wonderful pet caregiver. I have used her as a caregiver numerous times while traveling—sometimes for only a few days, sometimes for as long as six weeks. I have always come home to an obviously very well-cared-for cat: relaxed, coat shining, affectionate and trusting towards Emily. While I’m gone, I receive photos and updates from Emily so I know how my kitty is doing. Emily is very reliable and conscientious—I can trust her to meticulously follow any medication or other instructions. She clearly loves and respects animals and goes above and beyond in making sure that their emotional as well as physical needs are met. Truly a dream caregiver.
Emily is one of the most compassionate, trustworthy, and detail oriented people I know. As a lifelong animal lover, she genuinely cares about the wellbeing of every animal she meets. I would trust her with my pets’ lives without hesitation. She is attentive, responsible, patient, and the type of person who will go above and beyond to make sure animals feel safe, loved, and cared for.
