About: Hi there! My name is Caroline, and I’ve loved animals - especially dogs - since I was a kid. I’ve grown up around dogs and began house sitting and dog walking for neighbors as a teenager. Having grown up around high-energy and anxious pups, I’m experienced in managing reactivity and walking “difficult to walk” dogs. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including those with multiple medications and limited mobility. I love to go for daily walks and hikes whenever I can, and I would be happy to bring your dog along! I have cared for cats in the past, but my experience with them is limited, aside from befriending the local strays! Although I’m less experienced with them, I’d be happy to care for your cat if you’d like. I have a flexible schedule taking classes part-time with an on-campus job, so I will have time to check on your pet every few hours most days of the week. I am happy to adapt to the needs of your pet - I understand if your dog needs to be crated when left alone. If so, I’m comfortable spending more time during house visits so that your dog can have a break from the crate under supervision.
About: I have experience taking care of animals as my own pets and as a self-employed petsitter, in addition to my experience in my current position as an overnight and daytime supervisor at a dog daycare/pet hotel. In addition, I am trained in humane training techniques and positive reinforcement, and can do some basic obedience training with dogs of all ages. I am familiar with the hard work and attention required to care for and handle animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm currently working full-time, but have availability throughout the week with plenty of time to hang out with your animals!
