I couldn’t be more grateful to Pamela for taking such good care of Beans. It was his first time away from home, and I was as nervous as he was. When I left Pamela’s home after our meet and greet, I was 100% confident that he would be safe, well-cared-for, and loved…and just as I expected, he was a happy and healthy boy when I picked him up. Her home is a warm, welcoming place that she has thoughtfully designed with her dogs’ needs as a top priority. She sent lots of videos, with no pressure or expectation that I watch every one and respond… which gave me space to focus on what I needed to focus on while I was away. I think that speaks to how sensitive and considerate she is as a person, and how she has both you and your dog in mind when your dog is in her care. Bottom line, Pamela is a complete gem, and Beans and I look forward to seeing her again soon!!
We've used Rover.com dog sitters for ten years, since we travel a lot. By far, Alba was the sweetest dog sitter we've ever had the opportunity to meet. Alba gave us a quick tour of her living space and large backyard, which were both immaculate. She filled up a kiddie pool for our dog and the three other small dogs she was dog sitting over the weekend, which my dog really enjoyed. Alba text me pictures of my dog in the kiddie pool, sleeping on her furniture and hanging out with the other dogs. We were very happy and would absolutely use Alba again should we travel to the North Bellmore area next year.
Krissy was amazing with my husky, Lexie! First off, Krissy is very welcoming and accommodating! I had booked with her originally for a trip to North Carolina I was taking for a week, but had to book a second stay for Lexie sooner and a bit more short notice due to a last minute family trip to Florida. I am so happy Krissy had room for Lexie, she was super nice and accommodating about the last minute booking! Lexie is usually very easily overstimulated and has issues eating, I was very nervous to leave her since it was her first time away from us. Well apparently I was more nervous than Lexie haha. Lexie did fantastic and played very well with Krissy’s dog, Bowie, and another dog that was staying with Krissy at the time. She ate great and didn’t even need her medication most of the stay. Krissy also sent tons of pictures and updated me multiple times throughout each day I was away about Lexie. I am so grateful to Krissy for giving Lexie such a welcoming stay while we were away, and I’m so happy Lexie had just as much fun as I did on her “get away” from home lol. Thank you Krissy!
Victoria was very kind with us and with our husky Sky. She kept us fully aware of how Sky was doing through texts and pictures, and made it very welcoming and comfortable for her. Victoria's backyard was also a huge plus for Sky as she loves to just hangout outside! Definitely would rebook in the future!
They are the sweetest people who have ever taken care of my puppy 🙂↕️. Open to meet and greets. Respond quickly to messages. Sent me videos/ pictures almost everyday and made my dog very comfortable. Took him on a ton of walks (which he loved). Kept me updated on how he was adjusting to them. Asked me questions to help make my dog more comfortable. They do have carpets so if your dog is not potty trained please let them know ahead of time.
Cassandra has watched my dog, Rosie, several times now over the past few years and I count myself lucky to have found her! Cassandra is very communicative and accommodating. She sends pictures and updates throughout the booking and Rosie always comes back happy and without any issues.
I had kept Loafy for 5 days with Akhilesh and his family while we were out for a trip. It was a great family setting along with their beautiful black Lab Millie who was great company for Loafy. We initially had a meet and greet session with Akhilesh just to make Loafy comfortable with their home and he pretty much liked it there along with their dog. They also have a fenced backyard which was a great add-on safety for the dogs to be on their own. We got regular updates, photos, videos daily which gave us a peace of mind and Loafy seemed happy, relaxed, and clearly was well cared for. I will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dog loving family.
