“Katherine was so wonderful! Nash can be selective and protective of me and his home, but he warmed up to her quickly and we will definitely be booking for Katherine again!”

“Jennifer was very attentive to my sweet old lady, and she was nice and calm and happy when I got home! Unlike times when I’ve boarded her, and she has been clearly stressed and hasn’t eaten in days! Jennifer even pulled my rather large Amazon package into the house!! Thank you!!”

“Eden was great! Very prompt, transparent with details on how the session went, and was easy to work with. We definitely will use again!”

“Anne was awesome! She had great communication. She gave us an update about her visit with our dog right away and sent photos. Franklin loved hanging out with her!”

About: My husband Marshall and I love to take care of pups together! Marshall grew up with dogs at home, and I cared for dogs all through college and used to volunteer at the Humane Society. As soon as we moved to the Twin Cities, we got our first dog, Mudflap. I am a teacher and have summers and evenings off, and Marshall is a music therapist with his mornings free, giving both of us plenty of time to look after dogs at home and take them for lots of walks and runs. We also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special medical needs. We love all breeds and sizes, and we have a soft spot for rescue dogs (our pup Mudflap is a rescue from Mississippi). We are very patient and attentive, and have experience with light grooming (baths, teeth-brushing) as well as administering medications. Whether your dog wants to run, play, or cuddle, We’ll be there to take care of them! I work as a teacher and Marshall works part-time as a music therapist. Marshall is home in the mornings until about 1pm, and I get home from school around 3:30pm. We are both off on weekends, and during the summers we are both home full-time. We have a large, fenced-in yard and a friendly, small dog to keep your pup company. Our dog does not use a crate but we can easily crate your dog if needed. We love having dogs on the furniture and letting them sleep on our bed, and we live in a safe, quiet neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and safe streets for walks.

“Jona did a wonderful job of caring for my kitty when I was out of town. I was nervous to leave her because she needs insulin shots twice a day. Jona handled it like a pro. She shared cute pictures and updates of how she was doing which made me feel much for comfortable leaving her. I would absolutely rebook Jona! 😃”

“Kathy took such amazing care of our kitties! We’re were gone for 5 days and I wasn’t sure how they were going to do with us being gone so long, but she sent many photos and updates during her daily visits that helped keep our minds at ease. She spent extra time playing with them and making sure they got the care and interaction they needed. I will definitely be rebooking Kathy in the future!”

About: My love for dogs started early—I grew up helping out at a dog boarding facility, and it didn’t take long before I knew working with animals was my passion. I’ve always prioritized the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of the dogs in my care. I currently have a major is Psychology with a minor in Animal Science and in college had the opportunity to train and work with dogs from the shelter. An experience that deepened my commitment to working with dogs. I have also been an accredited dog trainer for over a year now and have two of my own dogs that I train with every day. They may not always act like they are trained, but I promise they are! I spend a lot of my free time educating myself on current training methods and stay up to date on dog welfare, nutrition and health. I aim to get a Masters in Animal Behavior and help as many pet parents and pups as I can. I can’t wait to meet both you and your pup and join in on your journey! I work from home most days and have training sessions for a couple hours on weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons. I am never gone for long and have a very flexible schedule as I make my own hours. I have lots of experience around dog care, nutrition, enrichment and safety. I will always make sure your fur baby is safe and comfortable in their home and prioritize their health and wellbeing.

“Kara did a wonderful job taking care of our two little doggies on two drop in visits. They had a wonderful time playing! We will be booking again with Kara again in the future. Thank you!”

“From the moment I met Pamela during our meet and greet, I knew she was the perfect person to care for our two sweet kitties. Pamela took care of our cats as if they were her own and it didn’t take long before they warmed up to her, which gave us peace of mind while we were away from home. Her frequent communication, kitty updates, and photos were on time and informative. Pamela is extremely friendly, reliable, and it’s obvious she is a huge animal lover!! She also helped with special requests like taking out our trash, which we really appreciated. Pam is a true gem and we will definitely book with her again! Thank you SO much for taking such great care of our cats!! 🐾🐈🐈⬛”

About: I am happily serving the Dakota County Community and its close neighbors. I also have experience with exotic pets, -birds, rabbits, snakes, lizards. My inbox is always open for questions. :) I've had numerous animals in my life, turtles, birds and frogs to dogs and cats. I've worked for a local dog-walking business years ago, Bark Ave, ETC. I absolutely loved it. I really enjoy snuggling and loving animals and I am beyond excited to meet your special family member. In May, my super senior, beloved Pomeranian (who had no teeth- UnderDog Rescue) passed 🌈. I made sure to cater to all her needs and wants. Now it's just my three rabbits. Two fully bonded and a possible foster fail 😆 I've dealt with many pets who have special needs, some 80+lbs. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, feeling confident that your best friend will be well taken care of and loved while you're away is a goal of mine. My current weekdays are very flexible. Weekends can be busier though I still have time bookings. I do my best to keep my availability calendar up to date weekly. After meeting you and your pet and learning everyone's needs, I will do my absolute best to make sure that all walks are safe and appropriate.

“Alma was great with our cats. They were well taken care of while we were away and we were kept up to date with wonderful pictures of them. The only thing I would say to be aware of when choosing Alma is to be very clear if you have a pet that requires food or medication at a specific time as her drop-bys to feed our cats in the afternoon changed day-to-day.”
