“Matthew was great, super responsive last minute while we did the Durango train. Great detail in his Rover card and we can tell he took real good care of our dogs taking them for a walk in the RV resort we camped at. First time we have used Rover, so glad we found Matthew too!”

“Angela regularly watches my three cats when I am out of town and it is obvious they adore her! Even my sweet tortie who is often very shy. I also appreciate how communicative she is and the amazing pics she sends. Highly recommend.”

“Katie did a great job taking care of our 4 kitties while we were on vacation! I was nervous leaving them alone for an extended period of time for the first time but she did a fantastic job and made me feel much more comfortable about leaving them in the future. She sent pictures of all of our kitties for every visit and you could tell they were happy to see and play with her! Highly recommend Katie if you need someone to stop in and feed/take care of your pets!”

About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I'll keep you connected with plenty of photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I do not have any hobbies or obligations that would take me away from them for more than a few hours. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate. I will care for your pets however you may wish! I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks or to the dog park, or simply lounging at home with them. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate.

“I needed a last minute cat sitter and Deidra was great! Great communicator, she stayed the full 30 minutes and was able to give my cat some love along with feeding him. Thanks Deidra!”

“Danika was excellent! Very communicative. We thought one of our cats slipped out during her time with us (our fault, not hers) and she was extremely helpful in ensuring she was home and safe. Would hire again.”

About: I have a little furry cat of my own and have a lot of experience pet sitting for friends and acquaintances over the years. Some of my experience also comes from volunteering at the humane society and wildlife refuge in the past. I'll treat your pet as if they were my own! I work from home on a 4x10 schedule, with many breaks throughout the day. Having a flexible schedule and longer weekends makes it easy for me to care for pets. Your pet's comfort is my top priority. In your home, I provide personalized care, adhering to their routine, and ensuring a stress-free environment. This includes regular feeding, walks, and playtime!

“Sarah has watched my pup a few times now and always takes great care of him. She gives great updates and I never have to worry while I am out of town. Thanks again Sarah!”

About: I have taken care of all pets of shapes, sizes, and ages. Dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, snakes, rabbits, peacocks, etc. I especially like to take care of older pets as they have a special place in my heart. I work part-time in the afternoons Monday-Friday so I am available in the mornings and evenings for routine breakfasts and dinners. I also live in walking distance to most homes. Which makes last minute help more accessible. Trust is the first thing I offer to all pets. We will have an initial meet and greet to get to know pets and see if it’s a match. I will be completely flexible to their routine as that’s imperative to a happy pet. I’m already always covered in cat hair so hugs and loving is a must.

“Cassandra was so great with our puppy! The puppy loved her and she took good care of her. She was polite and we’d trust our dogs and in our home anytime. Highly recommend.”

About: My heart has always belonged to dogs. I grew up alongside many beautiful and loyal pets who I learned to care for. I have worked with senior dogs that require medications or special assistance. In 2022 I worked as a nanny and caretaker to a beautiful high energy shepherd that was a very stubborn walker. I learned to use commands, treats, and a head collar to help keep her in control so I could focus on the children during walks. I am so grateful to learn from the pets I work with. I have been able to apply much of what I learned from her training to teach my own stubborn pup to walk without ripping my arm off. I currently work as a daycare attendant at Happy Dog Daycare in Eureka. I love working with the huge variety of breeds and personalities that walk through the door everyday. I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Drop-In visits on weekdays will be available either 6am-12pm or 1pm-12am depending on my schedule for the week. Weekend visits may be scheduled anytime. Multiple visits may be booked each day. House sitting is available all week. I work during the week so pets must be able to be safely left unattended for up to 6 hours during the day. If your pet loves others and is fully vaccinated consider signing them up for Happy Dog Daycare for days you have to be away! (Will shuttle for existing clients. Subtract $14-22 from Rover price on days pet attends daycare. Client is responsible for daycare fees) Weekend pet sitting is open, I can be available 24/7 to care for your pet and home! HOUSESITTING - I am happy to accommodate your pet's specific routine as well as provide playtime and outings. Let's chat about your pup's needs so we can ensure they can have a fear free booking!. I want to ensure your pet is as comfortable and loved as possible while you're away. DROP-IN VISITS - 30 minutes typically includes feeding, changing water, potty break, and playtime. I am open to doing short 10-15 minute walks during drop-ins. 1 hour drop-in visits include feeding, changing water, walk and playtime suited to your dog’s needs. I suggest 1 hour visits if your dog is high energy or needs extra attention.

About: I have my own well behaved 2 year old medium sized dog. In health care and very knowledgeable. Love and care for all animals small or big. Available mainly on Saturday through Monday. But flexible with my current job if needed. Happy to work around my work schedule but free through the weekend and Mondays. I will care and take care of your pet as I would my own. But also take into consideration any of your pets needs and wants.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and a few unexpected ones in between), so caring for pets has always been second nature. I adopted my dog over 10 years ago while living in Colombia, and he's been with me ever since. Over the years, I've gotten comfortable with all sorts of care, including giving medications and supporting him as he gets older. I have experience with dog-walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I'll treat yours like one of my own... with patience, care, and lots of attention! Caring for my own dog is already part of my daily routine... walks, exercise, and making sure he's well cared for and mentally stimulated. I work locally and have a consistent schedule, which allows me to plan ahead and make time for drop-ins or walks as needed. Every animal has their own personality and quirks, and their humans have their own expectations of care. I'm here to listen and adjust to both, whether your dogs needs an active walk to burn off energy or a calm visit with more snuggles than steps. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and comfortable in their own environment.

About: I am passionate about helping your dog have a good experience while you are away. I love seeing the joy in a dog when they’re out exploring the world, taking in all their favorite smells. I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs and am experienced coaxing stubborn dogs to walk and making them comfortable. I’m currently unemployed and happy to work with your schedule! I can be flexible throughout the day and am available 7 days a week for your pets need! I am unable to have pets in my house, but am happy to take your dog out for a walk around your neighborhood, let them out into your yard, or feed them. I am also happy to stay at your house and help around the house watering plant or doing other things if needed.

About: Dogs are an infinite source of unconditional love - I treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve. Rest assured your animals will be my top priority. I've currently got an open schedule, so feel free to reach out in a pinch and be confident your animals will be my top priority. A home becomes your personal castle - I'll take care to treat it as if it were my own. This applies to your pets as well!

“Cassandra is awesome! Great communication. Very professional. This was my first time using this app and it was an all-around positive experience. I ended up having to add an additional day. Cassandra was able to accommodate our extremely last minute request. I would definitely use Cassandra again and recommend her!!! For reference she watched two of our cats. One of which loves to try to escape so this was a huge worry of mine. But Cassandra put my mind at ease and everything went wonderful!”

About: I grew up with dogs of my own and have dog-sat for several friends and employers. I find dog-walking very meditative, and the personality of dogs can really come alive outdoors. I’m very attentive to energy levels, food/water intake, and of course, play time! I’m currently working part-time during the week but have my mornings and evenings open, as well as most weekends. I’m happy to chat more about what your pet care needs look like! Having my own cat, I always cat-proof my home to ensure that my cat is safe whether I am home or not. Before leaving the house, I always ensure my cat has enough food and fresh water. I would not only do this at your home, but I would also leave it better than I found it, treating your home as your sacred space that deserves respect, privacy, and cleanliness.

David R.
“David is the BEST dog walker I have ever met. Any time I have ever asked him to take my own dogs for walks, he always goes above and beyond and gives them the best adventures. Some of the places he’s taken them have been the dog park, disc golfing up at the college, and many of the hiking trails around town. They always come back tired and ready for a good nap. I’m grateful for how well he takes care of them so I can be stress free when I can’t take them on walks myself. I highly recommend David to be your dog’s new best friend!”

“Lily is an exceptionally caring and detailed oriented person. She loves animals and has been around many of mine including dogs, cats, sheep and cows. I never have to worry about leaving animals with her because I know she will look after them and be observant to their needs. She also just generally loves animals. I strongly recommend Lily as a pet sitter.”

Camryn L.
“Camryn loves all type of animals. She is caring, flexible, and responsible. Also, a great dog owner and has watched my pet in the past.”

Victoria M.
“Victoria is exceptional at taking care of animals and recognizing their needs! Not only does she have a dog of her own named Dante who she rescued from the streets and has taken immense care of to give that dog the best life a dog could ask for. She has helped me during some pet/house sitting gigs when I have to be at work later than expected etc... Victoria has an incredible sense of timeliness contrary to most here in Durango lol, and responsibility beyond what is expected! I could not recommend anyone else as much as Victoria to take care of your animals!”

“Good job w difficult dog”

Matthew S.
“I can’t recommend Matt enough for anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and friendly pet sitter or dog walker. He’s spent a lot of time with my husky as he has grown up from high-energy puppy into a dignified, and occasionally spastic dog, and he’s been fantastic every step of the way. Matt has a calm, patient presence that keeps my pup engaged and happy, even when he’s full of zoomies. I would feel completely confident leaving my dog in his care—he’s punctual, responsible, and communicates well, so I know my pup is safe and well cared for. Beyond that, he genuinely loves animals, and it shows in how stoked my pup always is to see him. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and go the extra mile, Matt is your guy.”

Michael S.
“We have been using Michael for years to walk and dog sit our Golden Retriever, Bernese Mountain Dog, and our mini Bernadoodle. Our pets have always been so happy to see him each time he comes over. He's a great companion. He's very receptive to their needs and moods. He learns there capabilities very quickly, for example, how far each of them like to walk, which one likes to go into the streams, and which ones are sensitive to weather conditions. He has stayed at our home also and watched them while we have gone on short vacations. He's wonderful with them and we are so glad that he loves our pets as much as we do.”

Cassandra M.

Elizabeth S.
“Elizabeth (Biz) was a truly exceptional sitter. She is responsible, caring, and incredibly trustworthy. I don’t take it lightly when I say I trusted her with the two most precious things in my life: my dog son and my human son. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe, happy, and well cared for. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for peace of mind while they’re away.”
