“This is my first time using Rover and Im definitely a happy customer! Johnina took the time to meet my pups before sitting so they could become familiar and comfortable with her! THEY LOVED HER and so did we :) She arrived on time and sent us beautiful pictures and videos of their time together! I will be booking her again! Thank you so much!”

“Rod is awesome! He took the time to meet my dog, Olive before his drop in visit and his warm smile and calm, confident demeanor told me that she was in good hands! You will instantly see how passionate he is about dog care. After his drop in visit, I noticed that Olive seemed much more at ease when I got home from work which is such an improvement from her normally anxious personality. He made sure to let me know in detail about how the visit was and the pictures he sent showed me that my dog has a new best friend in Rod!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs through family and friends, including overnight stays and daily care. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at once, making sure they are fed, walked, and comfortable. I’ve grown up around different breeds such as huskies, chihuahuas, and Dobermans, which has helped me feel confident handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I am currently a student, which has helped me become very responsible with my time and commitments. I’m also very active and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a runner and have completed a half marathon, so I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get the exercise they need. I’m reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a student with a flexible schedule. I’m available on weekends and most weekday evenings. I’m reliable, organized, and able to plan my time well to make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and exercise they need. I always prioritize the safety and comfort of every pet in my care. I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I make sure pets are supervised at all times, feel safe, and receive plenty of attention and exercise. I’m also very attentive to their behavior to ensure they are happy and comfortable.

“Haijing is extremely punctual, kind, and so sweet with my puppies. She really reinforces their potty training and keeps them active and engaged. I recently got two puppies, and she has taken amazing care of them. I’ve been using her almost every day, and she is truly the best. Highly recommend!”

About: Hey there! I’m Celeste. Ever since I could remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Ranging from cats and dogs to farm animals. Personally, having 2 cats and a GSD of my own. I’m not short on experience with animals large and small and administering medication. It’s a stressful experience to leave our pets at home, and just as confusing for them. I wish to treat them with the same love and attention they get at home while they eagerly await your return. I’m currently an Animal Science student, soon to be graduate. I’m looking for a part-time, but in the meantime, I have a wide-availability up until late August. Available everyday unless stated otherwise. When you book with me, your pet will enjoy neighborhood walks, plenty of cuddle time on the couch, as well as any and all needs taken care of. I have a flexible schedule for the summer, which means your pet will rarely be left alone for long periods on the weekends.

About: Hi! I’m Roy! I’m an active/outdoorsy pet lover who treats your pet like my own. I specialize in house sitting, which means your pets get to stay in the comfort of their familiar environment while receiving top-tier care and companionship while you’re away. As a cat owner myself, I am highly intuitive to pet body language, routines, and boundaries. I am also an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, making me the perfect match for high energy dogs who love long walks, trail time, and exploring nature. Whether your pup needs an energetic hiking buddy or just loves a long, stimulating neighborhood stroll, I’ve got them covered! I have wide-open, flexible availability this summer! Whether you are heading out for a weekend getaway, a week-long vacation, or a last-minute trip, my schedule is completely open for house sitting. Because my summer calendar is highly flexible, I can dedicate my full time, attention, and energy to keeping your pets safe, happy, and exercised while you travel! Respect of Boundaries: I only use the rooms and amenities we agree upon beforehand and respect any 'off limits' areas. Calm Companionship: I mirror your pet's energy, providing gentle affection, quiet lap snuggles, or peaceful company. Seamless Routines: Feeding, walks, and medications happen precisely on your schedule to eliminate any pet anxiety.
About: I will ensure that your dog remains happy and healthy! The safety of your dog is also my #1 priority. I love dogs so much and will do my absolute best to take care for yours. I am currently studying at a University and have room in my schedule to take care of your dog on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! I have experience dog-sitting other dogs and am able to adapt to their individual needs. I have had dogs, cats and fish and am very aware of the amount of attention and care they need!
About: My family has had a wide variety of dogs and cats. I’ve had experience with managing puppy's and other senior dogs, I have a puppy of my own right now. My sister is a groomer as well. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to work with and play with new and old dogs and cats. I have a very flexible schedule. I have a large backyard with grass and brick walls and a small Shiba Inu and large Akita to keep your dog company! We have baby gates and lots of space in the house to separate the dogs if you prefer. Down the street from a park so more than happy to take them to it
About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. I’ve had lots of experience dog sitting for friends and coworkers, and I’m excited to expand and meet more amazing pups and their owners. I’m currently based in Diamond Bar, CA in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. There’s a dog park just 5 minutes away, and I have a large, secure backyard where dogs can safely roam, play, and relax. I also have a cockerdoodle named Sosa. He is very social and does great with other dogs. He regularly plays at Smartparke in Brea, so I’m very comfortable managing and caring for multiple dogs with different personalities. I truly enjoy spending quality time with pets, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’d love to meet your pup and make them feel right at home! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my day around caring for my own dog. I plan my schedule to allow time for walks, feeding, playtime, and consistent supervision throughout the day. I’m home often, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and not leave them alone for long periods. Throughout the week, I stay flexible to meet each pet’s needs, whether that’s extra walks, social time, or a calmer environment. Your pet’s comfort and routine will always be a priority in my day. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets feel at home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. In my home, dogs have access to a large, secure backyard and are always supervised. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I give lots of attention, affection, and updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Diamond Bar
It was my first experience hiring someone from Rover. Fortunately for me I landed with Isabella. She was great. Very good with Dogs. Came on time, took care of dogs which 2 big dogs and more importantly during the process, she was sending photos. In the end I got 2 happy tired dogs who slept like puppies. Isabella was very diligent going over daily routines and feeding them and taking care of them. I will continue with her in future.

Sherry was amazing! She was communicative and attentive throughout the drop ins making my dog Mari feel so loved and taken care of when I was away! I also loved all the video and pic updates where Mari looked so happy. I can tell Mari was so comfortable when I went back. So happy to find someone so sweet! Would definitely rebook again! :)

Haijing is amazing! I would say she is the best sitter I have ever found. She is a very responsible person and she even takes an extra step to help with things I did not communicate with her in advance. She takes a ton of pictures and is sophisticated with cats. I will definitely rebook with her when needed and I also highly recommend her to you!
We booked Skylar to care for our three cats for two weeks and she was on time for drop-ins and attentive during each session. She was respectful and able to adapt to each cat's personality, especially one of our high-energy cats, and gave them all plenty of pets and treats. Skylar brought in our mail and packages; kept our spaces clean, and even handled our bins for trash collection days. Will definitely book Skylar again in the future and highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
