About: I’m a student with a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with dogs. I’ve helped care for a friend’s dog by taking them on walks, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they felt safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, patient, and will follow your care instructions carefully. My goal is to make sure your pup is happy while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos. As a student, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Most of my classes are later in the day, so I’m available for morning visits, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’ll always do my best to stick to your pet’s normal routine. Every pet is different, so I’ll always follow your care instructions and respect their individual routine and personality. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, fresh water, or litter box cleaning, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

Hunter has been absolutely amazing with our 12-week-old German Shepherd, Rocky! She’s a sassy puppy with lots of energy, and since Hunter started caring for her, we’ve seen such a positive change. She’s happier, more settled, and even less nippy—which says a lot at this stage! Hunter is patient, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Rocky is in such great hands. He keeps us updated and truly goes above and beyond in the care he provides. I can’t recommend Hunter enough. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pup, he’s the one. We’ll definitely continue booking with him!

About: I am extremely passionate about animals. I have a background in animal behavior and biology, and have worked with domestic and exotic species for most of my life. For dogs, I have worked in rescue and boarding situations. I have a wealth of experience in handling and managing behavioral challenges such as fear aggression, reactivity, and resource guarding. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, and have been trained to administer all sorts of medications. Additionally, I have worked with puppies and adult dogs in behavioral training, and am more than capable to follow your routines for management. I have worked with all manner of cats, as well as medication administration and general husbandry. I am more than willing to discuss specifics, in the case your kitty has some special instructions. Even if they aren’t the most friendly to strangers, I’m willing to work with them. Reptile, amphibian, and aquatic care is also well within my capabilities. I have experience with a host of different species, and am always willing to discuss specifics. I want what is best for you and your pets, so let me know how I can set them up for success. My schedule changes, but I have general availability throughout the week. Your needs can be discussed and worked with to best fit both our schedules. I always want to set your pets up for success. Open communication and discussion about your pet’s needs is my utmost priority. I want them to be comfortable in my presence, and that starts at the door. Allow me to work with you on how best to care for your animals while they are in my care. Your animals will always be safe in my care, and never placed in an environment that would endanger them.

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for friends and neighbors since college. I have done over night visits to stay with anxious pets who need a human to sleep by, drop ins for cats and dogs, and walked dogs. I am currently back home for summer break from medical school. I am available any hour of the day to feed, play, and walk your pet. I can only do house visits because I am staying at my family’s home. But I will make sure to follow your directions on how to properly take care of your pet.

I’m a real estate agent who loves dogs! Taking care of extra pets fits well in my schedule because I make my own schedule. I enjoy taking walks and love animals. I have a large fenced yard for dogs to play in. We have one dog who is 3 years old, a cat who is 7, a couple chickens(in a fenced off area), and fish. My dog like walks, dog park visits, her cat bff and zooming. My cat loves napping in various places throughout the house. I bathe the pupp at home and do her ear cleaning, nail trimming. The pets have free range of the house but I could put up a doggy gate if need be. I do not allow puppy pads.

About: Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. My parents were always bringing home new pets, so caring for them often felt like having our own little farm! I’ve gained experience caring for all kinds of companions and love getting to know each one’s unique personality, needs, and silly quirks. I’m the proud owner of three crazy pups, and we have so much fun doing agility together in Pasadena. I’ve also embraced the “crazy cat lady” life alongside my mom, helping care for her many cats. I grew up with my own horses, continued riding at Cal Poly Pomona, and worked at Disneyland, where I cared for and trained the draft horses on Main Street. I have a background in human healthcare in the operating room, where attention to detail, patience, and compassion are part of my everyday work. I’m also working toward my dream of becoming a veterinarian. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, medication, extra playtime, cuddles, or someone to stick to their routine, I’ll happily tailor my care to their individual needs. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I would treat yours like they’re part of my own family. Communication is important to me, so you can expect plenty of photo updates along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved pets! I am mostly available on the weekends anytime, and some evenings during the week. I can be with your fur baby routinely if you need. I will make sure your pet is comfortable, safe and happy. I have coyotes in my area and am extremely vigilant when out on walks or having my dogs roam outside. I am always outside with them. They all wear coyote vests and I carry an airhorn with me just in case.

About: I have been taking care of animals of all kind before I learned how to walk. My whole life I have been apart of Kitten Rescue LA which allowed me to take in not only cats of all ages but dogs of all ages. I am well versed in animal care and administration of medication if needed. I am currently a full time college student with no other work obligations which allows me plenty of time to walk and bond with your pets. When given the opportunity to assist your family I will cuddle if the pet allows it and listen to the ques of the pet to ensure a safe and trusted experience for all. Hunt took care of my dying dog who was peeing everywhere she had to be washed and he took such wonderful care of her on top of taking care of the other puppy I have. He was on time he stayed and played with them. He hand fed our sick dog. He made sure that they both ate and drank water and went out and did their business. I highly recommend him.

Our kitty’s love Stacy. When she came over to drop off the key, one met her at the front door and the other who was in my lap) started purring and meowed to her like she talks to us. This is our third time Stacy has watched our kitties for us and I will definitely hire her again. My kitties agree with me. She communicates well, sends photos of our kitties and I feel she is very trustworthy.

Stacey has been an absolute blessing for our family! She is incredibly patient, kind, and attentive with our 11-week-old German Shepherd. We especially love the thoughtful updates and adorable photos she sends throughout her visits—it gives us so much peace of mind. We’ve already rebooked with Stacey and plan to continue doing so. We booked Skylar to care for our three cats for two weeks and she was on time for drop-ins and attentive during each session. She was respectful and able to adapt to each cat's personality, especially one of our high-energy cats, and gave them all plenty of pets and treats. Skylar brought in our mail and packages; kept our spaces clean, and even handled our bins for trash collection days. Will definitely book Skylar again in the future and highly recommend her!

As of July 2026, there are 18,863 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across San Dimas. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a San Dimas stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in San Dimas. On Rover:

  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
