“Rachel was very attentive to Princess. Unfortunately, while I was away, my dog became sick and had runny stool. Rachel diligently took care of her and communicated about her temperament and well-being.”

“Melanie is incredible!! She's literally the only other person outside of family that I trust with my pups. She was so kind to stay overtime to help my pups get out after being locked inside. She is so sweet & kind & my babies love her (13yo & 1yo). She works well with them & I've booked her several times!”

“Pamela was a blessing for us! Since our whole family was away, we worried about our pup Tess but she sent us messages, pictures and videos of her every day during her visits. We would call Pamela again anytime, she is the best. I will be texting her personally and thanking her for all she did. I ended up having a medical emergency while we were here in Las Vegas and she kept us informed on what was going on with our pup. My son’s came home and our now watching Tess till we get home tomorrow. I would like to leave her a tip because she deserves it. She was the best. Tell her thank you and I will be reaching out to her. Thank you Rover for sending her to us. How do I get her a tip?”

“Natalie is great! We've used her twice now to care for our cat, and she's been great each time. She's on top of all communications and accommodated our one-off house requests. We feel that she genuinely cares about our cat which takes away our worry.”

About: Hi! I'm new to Rover and excited to be part of this wonderful community of amazing pet parents ✨️ So a lil about me...I am the Queen animal lover of my family :) I have had cats/dogs all my life and my friends and family call on me when their little ones need pet care. So blessed to have the availability to work with animals at this time in my life. I am a retired therapist and part-time caregiver to my mom. I also love to do gentle Reiki on the fur babies that need a lil extra soothing if you'd like. They love it and they seem to soak it up! I look forward to getting to you and your pets in hopes that we are a great fit...I'll be happy to care and cuddle your little furry ones! I am available from early lunch hours to evening times. Available for Drop in, feeding schedules, just spending time with them and overnight housesitting as well. I am available to care for your little ones in your home. I may be able to care for your doggie in my home depending on your pet care needs and if I am able to safely care for them in my home environment.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—starting in the small Midwestern town where I grew up. Our first family pup was a Siberian Husky, followed by a goofy, lovable Boxer. Then, during college in Chicago, I rescued the most adorable white Shiba Inu named Dobby (yes, after the house elf). I was his doggy dad for 14 amazing years, and I gave him the most loving, devoted care I possibly could. When he was 6, I met my life partner, and together we co-parented Dobby with so much love and intention. Whether it’s giving a senior pup the comfort they need or just being that steady, playful presence dogs thrive on—I get it, and I take it seriously (but with plenty of tail wags along the way). I love dogs so much, and it’s been a little over a year since I had to say goodbye to my own little guy. We moved into our home in Covina at the end of last year, and ever since, I’ve been wanting to help care for other people’s pups. It just feels like the right time. I get off work at 4:30pm and I’m local, so I’m around in the evenings until about 9:00pm. I’m also available on weekends. If we ever need to board a dog, my husband works from home and is happy to help out too. We’re a pretty dog-loving household. Whether your dog is staying with me or I’m coming to you, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone, so I always try to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and a little spoiled while you’re away. At home, we keep things calm and cozy. We’ve got a fenced-in yard, and I’m big on keeping a routine that works for your dog. Walks, playtime, cuddle time (there’s also a dog park right around our corner)—it’s all on the schedule. If I’m coming to your place, I’m super respectful of your space and always try to keep things as close to your normal routine as possible. I’ll keep you updated along the way too, because I know how much those little check-ins can mean.

“Stacey came to the rescue again! I got called into work early and have a new puppy at home now along with my 3 year old lab. She came by to let them outside and sent the cutest pics of them playing together. It gives me peace of mind knowing that they’re in good hands on the days that my work shift changes”

“We had Jamie look after our cat Winnie while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing! She did daily check-ins and provided us with sweet pictures of Winnie, which kept our minds at ease throughout our trip. Jamie’s love and care for our baby were evident, and we felt so comforted knowing she was in good hands. We highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for animals all my life. They have always had a special place in my family! I have taken care of many of my friends fur baby’s for something so small as a drop-in to caring for them for an entire summer vacation making multiple stops through out the day or even staying the night to provide some companionship for the animals. I have cared for animals from infancy until they cross the rainbow bridge and each one has brought me so much joy and love, I love having the opportunity to show them the same while they’re here with us. I work full time at a school, so the typical 9-5 is really 8-3 for me. For drop-ins I can do early mornings or later afternoon/evenings. I don’t work weekends, so I can care for your babies while you take the weekend off! When i’m caring for your furry family member, I’m there for them, but you too! I will always make sure the animals are fed, watered, exercised, and of course, loved on! If there is any medication to be taken or special tendencies needing tending to, I’ll take care of it all. Your home will always be as clean as you left it without having to worry about messes or accidents to come back home to.

“Shanise was fantastic as always, even when a technology snafu left her unable to access my apartment and she needed to return at a different time the next day for my building manager to help. As much as my boy Weston hates it when I leave, I know he’s well cared for when I book Shanise.”

About: I’m based in Pomona and currently offering discounted rates while I build my Rover profile. I provide detailed updates, photos, and love making pets feel safe and happy while their humans are away. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 7 years old — walking dogs in my neighborhood and pet sitting for families throughout town. During COVID and the years after, I fostered dogs full-time, which gave me hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, medical needs, and training challenges. That experience taught me how to handle everything from high-energy puppies to seniors who need extra support. I’ve worked with pets who have anxiety, medical conditions, and behavior quirks — and I always approach each one with patience, structure, and care. Currently, I’m working as a dog bather and actively pursuing my professional grooming certification. Whether your pet needs a walk, meds, training reinforcement, or just cuddles and calm companionship, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care. I currently attend classes on weekend and work on the weekdays. I would be able to help out with your furry friend in the mornings before 8 and evenings after 4. I am pretty flexible and can make usually make adjustments to better accommodate your pet as needed. In My Home: I provide a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your pet is treated like family. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, and playtime. I keep their sleeping area clean and comfortable, and make sure they receive lots of love, enrichment, and attention throughout the day. In Your Home: I aim to maintain your pet’s routine and comfort level with as little disruption as possible. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, crate routines, and any other care specifics. I also keep your home tidy, check for any pet-related messes, and always make time for cuddles, play, and companionship. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize your pet’s safety, emotional comfort, and well-being. I’m happy to adjust based on your needs — just let me know what works best for you and your pet.

About: My first experience caring for dogs was working as an orderly at an Animal Hospital at the age of 16. Oddly, the difficult pets always warmed up to me, which in turn made for a successful boarding experience! I continued on to work as a receptionist and vet tech assistant. Ultimately, I chose not to pursue the medical field as a career focus since the experience revealed that I'm extra sensitive to suffering and loss. The work I had been doing the past 5 years required travel and frequent relocating, and for this reason I presently am not a pet owner. I did recently begin staying with my mother after she lost her husband, and here we have a spunky pitbull, a lazy cat and 5 restless tortoises! My respect for animals, domesticated and wild, runs deep. The raw honesty they possess is pure and unwavering. I admire them. and their effortless teachings. My growth is indebted to these magnificent beings. If ever you could use a helping hand, I would love to meet and bond with your special one(s)! My work schedule fluctuates day to day, week to week, and month to month, year by year. For this reason, I frequently update my availability on Rover's website. Currently, my residence is available for Doggy Day Care every Monday between the approximate hours of 11am and 6pm. The house is comfortable and the backyard is spacious, grassy and enclosed by brick walls. Concerning visiting your home, please describe every possible detail as to how you go about your pet care routines and I will eagerly follow suit!

He has a nice big back yard which Maya loved playing in. We were at ease knowing she was in good hands. We would definitely hire Jose again for our next vacation. He is a dog lover for sure. We recommend Jose to take care of your dogs.”
