About: Hi! I have 5+ years of experience as a vet technician and currently attending vet school to receive my DVM so you can definitely trust me with your babies! I am experienced with proper care and handling of a variety of species including cats, dogs, reptiles, and birds. I am also proficient at administering meds and caring for senior pets if needed as I had my own senior dog with kidney and heart disease and am aware of what going into caring for pets on medications! On most weekdays I only have about 2 classes that I attend so I am usually free for the day after 1 pm, and I am usually at home in the mornings (until 10 am). I am free most weekends as well. my schedule is pretty flexible so I shouldn’t have much of a problem bending my schedule around to fit your pets’ needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities! I can provide a structured, low stress environment and closely follow your care instructions to keep routines as close to your own as possible. I supervise all pets carefully, and ensure all outdoor time is secure and safe. I can also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands !

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and currently have a dog and cat of my own. About: - Regular long-term (2+ weeks) sitter for a family friend’s small dog. She doesn’t do well with other dogs and is high anxiety, so I am well-versed in navigating walks and other stressors! - I adopted a medium-sized senior blind and deaf dog with arthritis during the pandemic, so I am also well-equipped in caring for high-maintenance, disabled dogs. - Overall, I have experience owning and sitting for a wide range (age, breed, socialization and training levels, etc.) of dogs, and can adapt to whatever their needs are! - I am completely available on weekends after 3PM on Fridays. I work from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I’m available for short potty breaks and walks around lunch time, as well as longer walks and sitting after 5PM. - In terms of gaining trust and acceptance with a dog, I am very comfortable moving slowly and at the dog’s pace. As someone who has had a blind and deaf dog that wasn’t able to communicate needs “traditionally,” I feel quite capable of meeting dogs where they’re at and adjusting!

About: I pet sit for cats and dogs in my neighborhood from 10-17 that ranged from all sizes and ages. Since being in college, I have walked many of my professors dogs free of charge—I just love dogs! I believe the greatest thing you can feel is the love from a pet. I am punctual, a great communicator, and will prioritize your pets needs. I am a full time student with a flexible schedule that allows me to make time to walk or visit your pets! I have a car which makes it easier to get to your pet:) I am in a dorm but my college has plenty of outdoor space perfect for walks! In your home I will stick to your pets routine as much as possible to limit their anxiety as well as your anxiety. If your pet enjoys dog parks and interacting with other dogs, I feel comfortable bringing them to the park. I do have a cat at home in Washington State but he doesn’t live with me in Claremont (clarifying that it says I have one cat on my profile).

I always make sure my pet friends felt welcome and at home in my house. I work a hybrid schedule, Monday-Wednesday in office and Thursday and Friday at home. We’d love to accommodate to drop offs/pick ups, but for those in office days we’d only be able to accept guest dogs after 5:30 pm. Alongside my husband and daughter, we enjoy including your pup into our little family and providing lots of warm love. ~~~Meet & Greets~~~ Although I do not require meet and greets, it is important that your pup is fully comfortable with other people and dogs. I do have a young child that so it is important to know if your dog is okay around children. Since she was a puppy, our dog Marlow has been around many dogs, big and small, and has loved welcoming them into our home as well. She gets so excited having a buddy each time! Although I cannot offer tours of the home, we could always meet in the front yard. If an abnormal time schedule is needed, I'm happy to chat and discuss any adjustments that are needed if I have the capability that week. Your pets are always top priority! During their very first stay, I like to make sure that your peace of mind is met and will send you multiple pictures and updates. We have a fenced yard. We live in a nice and quiet neighborhood where I’ve always felt safe going for walks in. Please let me know if your furbaby needs any special accommodations!

About: Hi! My name is Valentina, I’ve been walking dogs for three years now in New York City with another app. I recently moved to California for Veterinary School and it will be my first time working with Rover! I’ve volunteered at dog shelters where I was in charge of walking and feeding them and also administered medications when needed. In New York I had the opportunity to walk over 150 dogs as a part time job while I was also working as a vet assistant in a clinic where we were fear free certified so I take it very seriously to establish a fear free and trusted bond with each animal. I’m really patient with animals and always make sure that they’re having a good time during their walks because it’s not just a walk for them. It’s their opportunity to explore and have some enrichment time! I speak English, Spanish and French so I do my best to establish a clear and transparent communication with every owner about their expectations and requirements of each pet! I currently don’t have any pets here in California so I’m always thrilled to get to spend some time with other pets through these job! I hope I can be a good fit for your furry friend! I’m currently in veterinary school so my availability is mostly during the weekends or afternoons after 5pm. But during the summer I’m open to any other day! I always make sure to communicate as much as possible with the owners. I like to provide a clear picture of how the walk/ sitting is going and to make sure they can feel as close as possible to their pets while they are not with them. I like to let owners know when we are about to leave and then during a pause send them a picture during the walk but I would usually put my phone away until we go back just to be fully present during the walk. I always make sure they have clean water before I leave and to leave them with a treat or toy while I’m leaving just for positive reinforcement!
