About: Hi! I have 5+ years of experience as a vet technician and currently attending vet school to receive my DVM so you can definitely trust me with your babies! I am experienced with proper care and handling of a variety of species including cats, dogs, reptiles, and birds. I am also proficient at administering meds and caring for senior pets if needed as I had my own senior dog with kidney and heart disease and am aware of what going into caring for pets on medications! On most weekdays I only have about 2 classes that I attend so I am usually free for the day after 1 pm, and I am usually at home in the mornings (until 10 am). I am free most weekends as well. my schedule is pretty flexible so I shouldn’t have much of a problem bending my schedule around to fit your pets’ needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities! I can provide a structured, low stress environment and closely follow your care instructions to keep routines as close to your own as possible. I supervise all pets carefully, and ensure all outdoor time is secure and safe. I can also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands !
About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and currently have a dog and cat of my own. Along with years of personal experience, I frequently volunteer at my local animal shelter which has given me hands on experience. Caring for pets is part of my everyday life whether it’s my own pets or volunteering at the shelter. I can easily fit in walks, playtime, and cuddles for your pets. I provide safe, clean, and loving care in your home or mine while following all routines, feeding, exercise, and medication needs. It is important to me to keep your pet comfortable and happy while you’re away.

About: - Regular long-term (2+ weeks) sitter for a family friend’s small dog. She doesn’t do well with other dogs and is high anxiety, so I am well-versed in navigating walks and other stressors! - I adopted a medium-sized senior blind and deaf dog with arthritis during the pandemic, so I am also well-equipped in caring for high-maintenance, disabled dogs. - Overall, I have experience owning and sitting for a wide range (age, breed, socialization and training levels, etc.) of dogs, and can adapt to whatever their needs are! - I am completely available on weekends after 3PM on Fridays. I work from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I’m available for short potty breaks and walks around lunch time, as well as longer walks and sitting after 5PM. - In terms of gaining trust and acceptance with a dog, I am very comfortable moving slowly and at the dog’s pace. As someone who has had a blind and deaf dog that wasn’t able to communicate needs “traditionally,” I feel quite capable of meeting dogs where they’re at and adjusting!
“Yumi and Cody have been absolutely wonderful pet sitters for my fur babies. They recently watched them for three days and, as always, provided fantastic updates that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I especially appreciate how attentive they are to my cat who loves to play—they always make sure he gets plenty of engagement and exercise. They’ve been caring for my cats for about a year now whenever I travel, and every experience has been consistently excellent. It’s such a relief knowing my pets are in such capable, thoughtful hands. I always feel at ease leaving home because I trust Yumi and Cody completely. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters!”

About: I pet sit for cats and dogs in my neighborhood from 10-17 that ranged from all sizes and ages. Since being in college, I have walked many of my professors dogs free of charge—I just love dogs! I believe the greatest thing you can feel is the love from a pet. I am punctual, a great communicator, and will prioritize your pets needs. I am a full time student with a flexible schedule that allows me to make time to walk or visit your pets! I have a car which makes it easier to get to your pet:) I am in a dorm but my college has plenty of outdoor space perfect for walks! In your home I will stick to your pets routine as much as possible to limit their anxiety as well as your anxiety. If your pet enjoys dog parks and interacting with other dogs, I feel comfortable bringing them to the park. I do have a cat at home in Washington State but he doesn’t live with me in Claremont (clarifying that it says I have one cat on my profile).

Alongside my husband and daughter, we enjoy including your pup into our little family and providing lots of warm love. ~~~Meet & Greets~~~ Although I do not require meet and greets, it is important that your pup is fully comfortable with other people and dogs. I do have a young child that so it is important to know if your dog is okay around children. Since she was a puppy, our dog Marlow has been around many dogs, big and small, and has loved welcoming them into our home as well. She gets so excited having a buddy each time! “Letitia is an awesome catsitter! She took great care of my little girl who sometimes is not too friendly. But Letitia won her over! Lilly was well taken care of and was just as happy to see me when I returned. I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely request her again. She's great!! Thank you so much!!”

About: Hi! My name is Valentina, I’ve been walking dogs for three years now in New York City with another app. I recently moved to California for Veterinary School and it will be my first time working with Rover! I’ve volunteered at dog shelters where I was in charge of walking and feeding them and also administered medications when needed. In New York I had the opportunity to walk over 150 dogs as a part time job while I was also working as a vet assistant in a clinic where we were fear free certified so I take it very seriously to establish a fear free and trusted bond with each animal. I’m really patient with animals and always make sure that they’re having a good time during their walks because it’s not just a walk for them. It’s their opportunity to explore and have some enrichment time! I speak English, Spanish and French so I do my best to establish a clear and transparent communication with every owner about their expectations and requirements of each pet! I currently don’t have any pets here in California so I’m always thrilled to get to spend some time with other pets through these job! I hope I can be a good fit for your furry friend! I’m currently in veterinary school so my availability is mostly during the weekends or afternoons after 5pm. But during the summer I’m open to any other day! I always make sure to communicate as much as possible with the owners. I like to provide a clear picture of how the walk/ sitting is going and to make sure they can feel as close as possible to their pets while they are not with them. I like to let owners know when we are about to leave and then during a pause send them a picture during the walk but I would usually put my phone away until we go back just to be fully present during the walk. I always make sure they have clean water before I leave and to leave them with a treat or toy while I’m leaving just for positive reinforcement!
“On our second session with Zoe and she was just as great as the first time. She was very professional, left awesome notes for each pet visit, and of course gave our kitty lots of love!”

“We were in a situation where we needed help on short notice and Paul replied quickly and did a great job. Was very thankful for his quick reply and diligence in taking care of our older dog for the day. Was a huge relief!”

About: I’ve been a dog groomer for 3 years now. I treat every dog like family, not just a booking. My calm, patient energy helps shy or anxious pups settle in fast, and I’m great at reading body language so they always feel safe. What sets me apart: Puppy training support - I’ll keep up with your potty routine, crate training, and basic commands like sit, stay, and leash manners so your young dog stays on track while you’re away. Senior dog care - I’m experienced with slower walks, medication schedules, joint-friendly play, and extra TLC for older dogs who need more comfort and attention. Photo updates + communication - You’ll get regular pics and updates because I know peace of mind matters. Whether you’ve got a playful puppy or a mellow senior, I’ll match their energy and give them the same care I’d give my own dog. Can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐾 I’m a dog groomer, working Tuesday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. I’m also available after-hours if needed. My days off are Sunday and Monday, and I’m available all day on those days. I provide structured, reliable care in your home by following your dog’s exact routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and rest. I adapt my approach based on age and temperament — reinforcing training for puppies and offering gentle, patient support for senior dogs. I maintain a clean, secure environment and provide daily photo updates with clear communication. I also respect your home and can assist with basic tasks like mail collection and plant care upon request.

Melanie was a perfect fit for my two kitties. She put my mind at ease knowing that when I'm away, Melanie will step in and take care of them. Her photos were great to see and I can tell my kitties were happy to see her. I definitely want to have Melanie back to care for my cats.

Lily cared for our cat Spirit while we were away on our honeymoon and did a fantastic job, she was able to give her medicine, take care of her food water and littler all while giving her all the attention she needed! We will absolutely have her again in the future. Definitely recommend!

Paige took care of our two cats with twice-daily drop-in visits while we were away. She kept us updated with photos during each visit and was patient with our cats and their very different personalities, which helped put our minds at ease. She was easy to work with and made the process very smooth!

Matthew did a great job watching my two senior cats while we were away for 2 weeks. They were not even mad at me this time when we returned. They made little messes here and there and Matt always cleaned it up perfect for us. I highly recommend Matthew as a pet sitter!
Marx watched my dog for a full week, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, they were communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure my dog felt comfortable and safe. I got regular updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I got back, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—which says everything. It’s obvious Marx genuinely loves animals and takes their responsibility seriously. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.

Tiffanny was great with my 6 month old puppy. This was my first time leaving her for such a long period of time but Tiffanny was able to check on her multiple times throughout the day and give her walks and lots of attention. Great communication too. I would highly recommend!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
