My days off are Sunday and Monday, and I’m available all day on those days. I provide structured, reliable care in your home by following your dog’s exact routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and rest. I adapt my approach based on age and temperament — reinforcing training for puppies and offering gentle, patient support for senior dogs. I maintain a clean, secure environment and provide daily photo updates with clear communication. I also respect your home and can assist with basic tasks like mail collection and plant care upon request.

About: I am a reliable and attentive animal lover who understands that pets are family (I grew up with dogs, cats, and a bird and tortoise!). Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a routine, I’ll treat your pet like my own. I’m currently a student at Claremont Grad University where I’m getting my teaching credential. My classes are online so I have flexible evenings. My weekends are generally available as well. I am very attentive of the animals in my care. “Paul was great with our Loki who has lots of puppy energy, and Paul adapted great to our needs and was very flexible. Loki likes to avoid other dogs, and so Paul made sure he steered clear of them. Loki was always supervised in the backyard. Loki got two walks for the 6 hours Loki was there. Also, i got a bunch of updates and photos from him. He was super nice and responsive in text. Loki also had fun sleeping, and grabbing pinecones at the park! We’re leaving on a 8 day vacation, and decided go with Paul for boarding, and i’m sure we’ll have the same, great experience. we’ll definitely rebook with him in the future! About: I’ve cared for animals, my entire life and understand that every pet has their own personality routine and needs. I treat them like part of my own family. Caring for animals has always been a part of my routine. I can have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide walks, feeding playtime, bathroom breaks, and companionship. When caring for pets, I follow their established routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I respect both the pets routine and the home itself. I provide a safe calm environment monitor pets closely and keep owners updated with messages and photos so that they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I am half way done with my schooling to become a veterinarian and have had 7 years working with animals in a professional setting. My experience and skills can come in handy if your pets need more help (medications, fluids, insulin etc). I also have 2 cats with heart issues myself so I am very familiar with handling special needs pets! My schedule right now allows me to have time for walks and drop in appointments if needed up to 3 times a day at your convenience I currently don’t offer care for pets in my home but in emergency cases, I can easily crate your pet if needed and if your pet is crate trained.

About: I have been in the veterinary medicine field for 8 years now. I have both experiences in small animal clinic as well as emergency medicine. I am very comfortable handling small and large animals. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in with a bachelor’s in agriculture with an emphasis in animal science. Being surrounded by animals is part of my daily routine. Before being offered the position as veterinary technician , I used to work at a pet resort so I am familiar with pet boarding. Working with multiple pets in one household is not a big of a deal. I can administer medication orally and can give injections if needed. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I am currently a full time veterinary technician working from Monday-Friday, making it easier for me to have an open availability for Saturday and Sunday. I can also be available to stay weekdays if needed if scheduling works out. I have a 9 foot fence, making sure that my two German Shepards can not jump out, I also have multiple cameras installed to monitor. I have had a cat enclosure built so that cats can have access to the outside world within a safe and enclosed space.

About: I have been pet sitting for 10+ years and grew up on a farm which has given me a great skill set for caring for and training many different animals including cats and dogs of all ages, horses, and even llamas! I am currently a veterinary student in SoCal, so I have a wide variety of experience with different animals. I am a second year veterinary student. Taking care of animals is without a doubt my true passion so I’d love to help care for your furies friends however possible. I currently have 4 pets at home so I will only be offering sitting and walks outside of our home. About: I am a veterinary nurse with 4 years or small animal experience that ranges from emergency medicine, medication dosing/ administration, subcutaneous/IV/intramuscular injections, fear free practice/restraint, puppy care and end of life care for senior pets. I work full time at a general practice animal hospital so my days are full of the happy moments like meeting a dear clients new puppy or sending home a successful surgery patient but there are also days where we are there to hold a little one whose family couldn’t be there to let go. My work is not routine, it’s a lifestyle. Being able to share compassion, hope and knowledge is what allows me to be able to continue the work that I do everyday. I am a full time vet nurse and I sadly do not have any pets of my own. Im just a young girl that’s career oriented and determined to meet goals so that I can ensure my future pet gets the life it deserves. Until then I’m very happy to love and care for every pet I can.

My name is Valentina, I’ve been walking dogs for three years now in New York City with another app. I recently moved to California for Veterinary School and it will be my first time working with Rover! I’ve volunteered at dog shelters where I was in charge of walking and feeding them and also administered medications when needed. In New York I had the opportunity to walk over 150 dogs as a part time job while I was also working as a vet assistant in a clinic where we were fear free certified so I take it very seriously to establish a fear free and trusted bond with each animal. I’m really patient with animals and always make sure that they’re having a good time during their walks because it’s not just a walk for them. It’s their opportunity to explore and have some enrichment time! I speak English, Spanish and French so I do my best to establish a clear and transparent communication with every owner about their expectations and requirements of each pet! I currently don’t have any pets here in California so I’m always thrilled to get to spend some time with other pets through these job! I hope I can be a good fit for your furry friend! I’m currently in veterinary school so my availability is mostly during the weekends or afternoons after 5pm. But during the summer I’m open to any other day! I always make sure to communicate as much as possible with the owners. I like to provide a clear picture of how the walk/ sitting is going and to make sure they can feel as close as possible to their pets while they are not with them. I like to let owners know when we are about to leave and then during a pause send them a picture during the walk but I would usually put my phone away until we go back just to be fully present during the walk. I always make sure they have clean water before I leave and to leave them with a treat or toy while I’m leaving just for positive reinforcement!
