About: Hi! My name is Valentina, I’ve been walking dogs for three years now in New York City with another app. I recently moved to California for Veterinary School and it will be my first time working with Rover! I’ve volunteered at dog shelters where I was in charge of walking and feeding them and also administered medications when needed. In New York I had the opportunity to walk over 150 dogs as a part time job while I was also working as a vet assistant in a clinic where we were fear free certified so I take it very seriously to establish a fear free and trusted bond with each animal. I’m really patient with animals and always make sure that they’re having a good time during their walks because it’s not just a walk for them. It’s their opportunity to explore and have some enrichment time! I speak English, Spanish and French so I do my best to establish a clear and transparent communication with every owner about their expectations and requirements of each pet! I currently don’t have any pets here in California so I’m always thrilled to get to spend some time with other pets through these job! I hope I can be a good fit for your furry friend! I’m currently in veterinary school so my availability is mostly during the weekends or afternoons after 5pm. But during the summer I’m open to any other day! I always make sure to communicate as much as possible with the owners. I like to provide a clear picture of how the walk/ sitting is going and to make sure they can feel as close as possible to their pets while they are not with them. I like to let owners know when we are about to leave and then during a pause send them a picture during the walk but I would usually put my phone away until we go back just to be fully present during the walk. I always make sure they have clean water before I leave and to leave them with a treat or toy while I’m leaving just for positive reinforcement!
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up around dogs in my neighborhood, which taught me how to care for pets with patience and attention. I’m dependable, active, and committed to making every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m doing undergrad research at Pomona College and my hours are roughly 9-3. I’m free most weekends, early mornings and evenings to take care of your pets. I can be flexible and adjust to whatever works for you. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and a safe, clean environment. I also respect each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, or older, and I keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.
“Booked Cody & Yumi for the second time and they are exceptional at caring for our baby Cabi. Sharing detailed updates with us to ensure her wellbeing. Very experienced with puppies and extremely responsible and reliable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are in the Rancho Cucamonga area.”

About: I love dogs of all sizes! I have several years of experience administering medication and caring for anxiety-prone pups, so I am happy to accommodate your pet's unique needs. Bonus points if they love long walks! You can rest assured that your pet is in the best hands--I treat every one like they're my own. I currently have flexible, open availability. Weekdays, weekends, or overnights are great for me. I offer same-day booking and a one day cancellation polity. After years of petsitting for friends and family, I'm looking forward to building a consistent client base! I am happy to crate pets if needed, hang out with them in designated areas of your home, and provide any level of supervision they require. I am also happy to play and provide exercise as often as they like. I cannot currently offer my own home for sitting, but will always be respectful of yours.
“We were very happy with the care that Andrea gave our four cats. Two of our senior cats require medication and Andrea was comfortable with giving our babies their meds. Andrea was very conscious and paid close attention to detail. 😊🐈⬛”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and animals they’ve always been a big part of my life. From the time I was 11 to 17 I helped my aunt with her animal care business, which gave me lots of walking, feeding, bathing, and spending quality time with dogs of all kinds. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets too, and I always treat each one like they’re my own. I truly enjoy giving animals love, attention, and a safe, happy environment. This is my second job! As I am a young adult trying to save up for my future so my schedule is very tight around my other jobs schedule as of right now. When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I stick to their normal routines for feeding, walks, and playtime so they feel secure. I give plenty of attention, exercise, and cuddles, and always keep their space clean and cozy. I also follow any special instructions carefully, whether that’s giving medications, handling specific diets, or keeping up with training. My goal is to make each pet feel like they’re part of my family while their owner is away.
“Paul was great with our Loki who has lots of puppy energy, and Paul adapted great to our needs and was very flexible. Loki likes to avoid other dogs, and so Paul made sure he steered clear of them. Loki was always supervised in the backyard. Loki got two walks for the 6 hours Loki was there. Also, i got a bunch of updates and photos from him. He was super nice and responsive in text. Loki also had fun sleeping, and grabbing pinecones at the park! We’re leaving on a 8 day vacation, and decided go with Paul for boarding, and i’m sure we’ll have the same, great experience. we’ll definitely rebook with him in the future! I’m a repeat client, highly recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is my dedication to truly understanding each pet inside and outside of their homes. I offer senior care, follow routines closely, send constant updates, and pride myself on being punctual and reliable. Outside of pet sitting, I am a full time college student. However this will not stop me from caring for your pet as I will set time aside. I hope to offer my love and care while in college in Pomona and at home in San Rafael. If you are hoping to book me at either location feel free to reach out and I will provide my availability. Also feel free to ask any further questions :) As a full-time college student, pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine. Spending time with pets helps me de-stress, stay motivated, and balance school with something I truly enjoy. Please Read: My availability is subject to change due to workload, finals, etc. I will be taking classes during the fall, spring, and summer. But do not worry as I will stay on top of keeping you informed. In my personal home, I have limited back porch but surrounded by lots of grass areas in my neighborhood. While away, I dorm on campus.
“Letitia is an awesome catsitter! She took great care of my little girl who sometimes is not too friendly. But Letitia won her over! Lilly was well taken care of and was just as happy to see me when I returned. I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely request her again. She's great!! Thank you so much!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my two dogs for years now, walking and feeding them everyday. I’ve cleaned up their waste and dealt with any sickness . I also have plenty of experience with socially awkward/anxious dogs and dogs who do not get along well with other pets, so I know how to handle the uncomfortable and scary situations. I always am sure to give pets extra love and attention, but I also know how to respect their boundaries. Whether your pet is getting a walk with me or we are playing fetch, I know we will be best buds! I am currently on a gap year and looking for a part time job, so this means I have plenty of availability and flexibility when it comes to your pets needs. Morning, afternoon, or night walks are all manageable, and most weekdays and weekends as well! In my own home my two dogs play together in our backyard, and because they aren’t always the most friendly with other dogs I ensure they are leashed in the front and at dog parks, unless they get along well with the other dogs, in which case I let them play. I am very comfortable snuggling with pets, as my own pets sleep on my bed, so I can give them whatever level of attention they need.

“Brenda is great! She took a lot of lovely photos of my dog and kept me updated during her visits. Also, Brenda is incredibly communicative and works with your schedule in such a considerate way. We'll definitely be hiring her again! :)”

“Angie is my dog, Olive's new bestie! I've never met anyone so intuitive when it comes to caring for dogs and it definitely shows. Olive is typically very anxious but when I get home from work, she's relaxed and happy. Angie also sends comprehensive recaps of each visit and plenty of photos. She took the time to meet Olive before her drop in visit and asked all the right questions to set herself up for success. I'm excited to create a lasting partnership with Angie as I feel that Olive is in the best hands possible while I am away.”

About: I have been in the veterinary medicine field for 8 years now. I have both experiences in small animal clinic as well as emergency medicine. I am very comfortable handling small and large animals. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in with a bachelor’s in agriculture with an emphasis in animal science. Being surrounded by animals is part of my daily routine. Before being offered the position as veterinary technician , I used to work at a pet resort so I am familiar with pet boarding. Working with multiple pets in one household is not a big of a deal. I can administer medication orally and can give injections if needed. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I am currently a full time veterinary technician working from Monday-Friday, making it easier for me to have an open availability for Saturday and Sunday. I can also be available to stay weekdays if needed if scheduling works out. I have a 9 foot fence, making sure that my two German Shepards can not jump out, I also have multiple cameras installed to monitor. I have had a cat enclosure built so that cats can have access to the outside world within a safe and enclosed space.

Lily cared for our cat Spirit while we were away on our honeymoon and did a fantastic job, she was able to give her medicine, take care of her food water and littler all while giving her all the attention she needed! We will absolutely have her again in the future. Definitely recommend!

Paige took care of our two cats with twice-daily drop-in visits while we were away. She kept us updated with photos during each visit and was patient with our cats and their very different personalities, which helped put our minds at ease. She was easy to work with and made the process very smooth!

Matthew did a great job watching my two senior cats while we were away for 2 weeks. They were not even mad at me this time when we returned. They made little messes here and there and Matt always cleaned it up perfect for us. I highly recommend Matthew as a pet sitter!
Marx watched my dog for a full week, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, they were communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure my dog felt comfortable and safe. I got regular updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I got back, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—which says everything. It’s obvious Marx genuinely loves animals and takes their responsibility seriously. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.

Tiffanny was great with my 6 month old puppy. This was my first time leaving her for such a long period of time but Tiffanny was able to check on her multiple times throughout the day and give her walks and lots of attention. Great communication too. I would highly recommend!!
