“Amber was very professional! She did everything I asked. My cats both seemed to know she was a cat person bc they would come out when she go there and wouldn’t hide from her. I would highly recommend Amber!”

About: Hey, I’m a very easy going person, who enjoys walking and caring for mine and my relatives dogs. I currently have a 3 yr old corgi that I walk multiple times a week, along with my relatives dogs. Doing this I’ve discovered I really enjoy dog walking, and would love to walk your dog as well. I am fairly new to the app so I’m accepting clients at a reasonably low price so I can start building relationships with you and your dog! I currently work part time at Victorias Secret and my shifts are typically very early in the mornings and flexible. So I’m looking forward to use dog walking as a way to make some extra cash on the side. But I also just generally love being around dogs. I currently care for my dog and siblings dogs indoors and take them out every hour to use the restroom. Constantly giving them water and feed them twice a week. Also just as a fun fact, I thought my dog starlord how to high five. :)
“Liana is sent from heaven, I swear. She is always so kind, helpful and reliable. She’s one of only two people I trust with my baby. She has helped me out of a tight spot on short notice so many times now. I feel SO lucky to have found her.”

“Amy did a great job of dropping in on our pups while we were away! We felt comfortable leaving them in her care after meeting her and hearing from her while we were gone. She was nice enough to do an in person meet a few days before the dog sitting weekend and she was very attentive to what the dogs needed. Amy communicated with me throughout her visits while being prompt, self sufficient, and took time to find the best ways of caring for the animals which I really appreciated. Even though Amy is new to Rover, she had everything down with no issues and I had complete trust in her to take good care of my dogs. Would def rebook again if needed in the future.”

About: I have had my yorkie for 10+ yrs. and have dog sat friends fur babies. I love dogs and they are treated better than family. I work full time but only work about 15 min away from my house and I have a dog of my own who gets walks in the morning mid-day and evening. Pets also have free range of my home. Pets in my home have free range to the whole house we have a yard but it is not fenced in but we do take them out on walks and play with them, we also love to cuddle with them and give them all the love they want. My dog eats throughout the day but we stick to other dogs' feeding schedule. If the pet is in their own home I make sure they follow the rules they're used to.
“Samantha was fantastic! Our cats took to her quickly. We asked Samantha to come twice a day for morning/night feedings and she didn’t let us down. She was on time, took photos, and is quick to respond via the app. We already have her booked for another weekend!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for 12+ years. I know how important it is to find someone who you can truly trust with your pets. I have dogs myself, including a senior so I understand the patience and attention and extra care they need. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved and stress free while you are away. I would love to help anyone looking mostly for weekend care Friday evening through Monday. I work fulltime and am in my office 2 days out of the week. I'm open to watching your dog during the week but know I will be gone during the day those 2 days. I live in an apartment. I have a doggy door and nice size patio. I will take out often. I have dog beds, extra bowls and leashes if needed. I do have a dog so your dog must get along with other dogs.
“Rod is awesome! He took the time to meet my dog, Olive before his drop in visit and his warm smile and calm, confident demeanor told me that she was in good hands! You will instantly see how passionate he is about dog care. After his drop in visit, I noticed that Olive seemed much more at ease when I got home from work which is such an improvement from her normally anxious personality. He made sure to let me know in detail about how the visit was and the pictures he sent showed me that my dog has a new best friend in Rod!”

“Melissa did such a great job with Kala!!! Kala loved playing with her!! Melissa also communicated well with us and was super sweet! We look forward to having her come play with Kala again!”

About: Growing up with dogs as beloved members of my family has instilled in me a profound love for animal care. I find genuine joy in tending to puppies, and I've been fortunate to extend my care to my last two doggy boys, accompanying them until the very end of their lives. My last dog, Oreo, was completely blind and deaf in his final years; I tried to make sure he was comfortable at all times. This includes enjoyable trail walks and a flexible schedule tailored to accommodate the unique preferences of your furry companions. In my retirement, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to tailor my time to meet the unique needs of your dog. Mornings would kick off with a breakfast for them, followed by a refreshing leg-stretching session. Afterward, it's back home for a cozy morning nap. As the afternoon rolls around, I'll take my furry companions out once more, ensuring they enjoy another invigorating walk before the sun sets. My home comes complete with a fully fenced yard, providing a secure haven for your dogs. Their safety is my utmost priority, and you can trust that they will be under constant and attentive care in this protected environment.

“Braelyn was so amazing and we will definitely be booking with her again! Her communication was always timely and kind. I booked incorrectly and ended up paying more and Braelyn reached out to fix the booking so that I could save money which she totally did not need to do. She also accommodated me by coming later than we anticipated which I super appreciate. My dogs looked really happy from the pictures and she did everything we asked and more!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Ontario, CA, available weekday afternoons and Fridays through Sundays. I grew up with pets and currently help care for three senior Chihuahua–Pomeranian mixes. My family and I rescued their parents and raised their entire litter of six, so I have hands-on experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I also have a strong background caring for cats. I’ve raised two rescue cats since they were kittens, and my current cat is now 12 years old. This has given me a deep understanding of feline behavior and routines, as well as how to keep cats comfortable and stress-free in their home environment. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or keeping your pet company, I focus on making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I’m always happy to send photo updates for peace of mind. I’m new to Rover and look forward to earning your trust while providing dependable, loving care. I’d love the opportunity to work with you and your pets! I’m happy to work with first-time clients and offer flexible scheduling for weekend care. I'm currently working during the day, and I am available to care for your fur babies in the afternoons. I am pretty flexible during the weekends too. I provide attentive care during walks and visits, follow all instructions, ensure pets are safe and loved, and send pics. No boarding at this time.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Chino
Beth did an amazing job helping us with our 4 cats. She communicated each visit, and treated our cats with love while we were away. It was wonderful being able to relax and not have to worry about them being cared for. Thank you for everything! We will book again for sure!

Hannah was absolutely amazing! I had to leave on a very last-minute trip, and she made the entire experience completely stress-free. She was so responsible, kind, and communicative, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My girl cat is usually very shy and timid, but she really loved Hannah’s calm, kind energy. I will definitely be contacting Hannah again to check in on my animals. I can’t recommend her enough!

Juan was very professional and did exactly what was asked (and more) including coming for a drop-in a few hours prior to make sure that Chester was comfortable. He sent plenty of videos & even brought him to our community’s dog park. Chester even ate his dinner. Thank you, Juan!

Definitely an animal person! Skyla and Delilah were so lucky to have Kayla come visit while we were out of town. I feel she treated my kitties, as well as the stray cats in the neighborhood, as if they were her own. (She also got fantastic pictures!) She made me feel confident leaving them in her care right off the bat. She was open to meeting in person and seemed very flexible with her schedule. Highly recommend!! 🙂😺😺

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
