About: I have had pets and have been surrounded by pets my whole life - I can (and probably will) love and take care of yours pets as if they were my own! As someone who is currently working from home, I would love to have more opportunities to stretch my legs, and if that happens to come with a little furry friends, who am I to say no? I actually do not have other pets over into my home due to both my cats having severe anxiety to other animals sadly, but I would love to take care of your pets at your home.

About: My husband and I are a dedicated dog-walking team in Chino. We walk our own dog for a full hour every day after work, rain or shine, because we truly believe in the importance of consistent exercise and fresh air for happy, healthy pups. We started helping our neighbor by walking her senior dog, who doesn’t move around as easily anymore. We’ve learned how to support dogs with mobility challenges—taking things at their pace, using gentle encouragement, and making sure every walk is safe and comfortable. My wife works from home, so she’s also available during the day for one of our other neighbors. They head to work and rely on her for midday check-ins, potty breaks, fresh food and water, and 30 minutes of playtime with their pup. This has given us valuable experience providing flexible, reliable drop-in care that keeps dogs happy and their routines on track. As a couple, we bring extra reliability and two sets of eyes on your dog at all times. Whether you’re tired after a long day, working late, or just need a trustworthy team for walks, check-ins, or playtime, we’re here as your reliable local alternative. We treat every dog like our own—with patience, care, and attention to their individual needs. Our dog is a big part of our daily routine. My husband usually gets home from work between 5:45 and 6:15 PM, and then we walk our own dog for a full hour every evening, rain, or shine. Because I work from home, we can also offer flexible, daytime drop-ins for your pup-just like we do for our neighbors. We’re happy to work around your schedule for consistent evening walks, midday visits, or a mix of both your dog will fit right into our caring, active routine. We care for every dog like it’s our own – with patience, love, and close attention to their unique needs. The exact care always depends on the service you request and your dogs, personality and routine. In your home (walks & drop-ins) We follow your instructions closely. For walks, we use a secure leash and harness, go at a comfortable pace (especially gentle with seniors or mobility challenges), and always clean up after them. My wife works from home, so she can easily handle midday check-ins: potty breaks, ensuring food and water bowls are full and a small play session. We adjust based on whether your dog is indoor or outdoor - keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy either way - and send photo updates so you stay in the loop.
About: I offer drop-in visits for cats and dogs — stopping by your home so your pet stays comfortable in their own space. I share my home with two cats: a sweet 9-year-old rescue and a British Shorthair, and I have hands-on experience caring for dogs as well. Whether it’s a cat who rules the house or a dog with a big personality, I’m comfortable with both. During each visit I’ll refresh food and water, scoop the litter or handle a potty break, and give your pet attention on their terms. You’ll get a photo update so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Working from home gives me a flexible and reliable schedule, making it easy to show up consistently for the pets I care for. I do all my drop-in visits in the evenings, so your pet gets a check-in at a predictable time each day — which is exactly the kind of routine cats thrive on. In your home, I treat your space and your pet with respect. Every visit I’ll refresh food and water, clean the litter box, and do a quick check to make sure everything looks normal — behavior, appetite, any visible changes. I follow your instructions closely and won’t deviate from your pet’s established routine.
“Melissa did such a great job with Kala!!! Kala loved playing with her!! Melissa also communicated well with us and was super sweet! We look forward to having her come play with Kala again!”
“Amber was very professional! She did everything I asked. My cats both seemed to know she was a cat person bc they would come out when she go there and wouldn’t hide from her. I would highly recommend Amber!”

“Angie is my dog, Olive's new bestie! I've never met anyone so intuitive when it comes to caring for dogs and it definitely shows. Olive is typically very anxious but when I get home from work, she's relaxed and happy. Angie also sends comprehensive recaps of each visit and plenty of photos. She took the time to meet Olive before her drop in visit and asked all the right questions to set herself up for success. I'm excited to create a lasting partnership with Angie as I feel that Olive is in the best hands possible while I am away.”

About: Consider me a house sitter as well!! I have taken on additional responsibilities such as collecting mail, dusting, sweeping, watering plants, yard, moving vehicles. Your wish is my command. I currently work from home. I work for the County of San Bernardino so I went thru background and fingerprint for my current role. That also helps you feel comfortable watching your pet. I also know how stressful it can be to leave your pup while on vacation. I will send photos throughout your vacation. I’m comfortable administering medication and caring for animals with special needs.
About: Growing up with dogs as beloved members of my family has instilled in me a profound love for animal care. I find genuine joy in tending to puppies, and I've been fortunate to extend my care to my last two doggy boys, accompanying them until the very end of their lives. My last dog, Oreo, was completely blind and deaf in his final years; I tried to make sure he was comfortable at all times. Currently enjoying retirement without any pets at home, I am thrilled to offer your dog full-time care. This includes enjoyable trail walks and a flexible schedule tailored to accommodate the unique preferences of your furry companions. In my retirement, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to tailor my time to meet the unique needs of your dog. Mornings would kick off with a breakfast for them, followed by a refreshing leg-stretching session. Afterward, it's back home for a cozy morning nap. As the afternoon rolls around, I'll take my furry companions out once more, ensuring they enjoy another invigorating walk before the sun sets. My home comes complete with a fully fenced yard, providing a secure haven for your dogs. Their safety is my utmost priority, and you can trust that they will be under constant and attentive care in this protected environment.

Hannah took such great care of my dog! She was responsible, patient, attentive, and very easy to communicate with. I really appreciated the time and care she gave my pup, and I felt reassured knowing my dog was in good hands. Thank you so much for all your help, Hannah ! I would definitely book with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Sarah was very professional and sent updates each interaction she had with my dogs. My dogs are not necessarily easy to manage and she did phenomenally well with them. Which I am grateful for and also this was my first experience with Rover and for sure feel like I can use the app again. And would definitely ask Sarah next time.

Beth Ann is excellent. She was able to accommodate me last minute. She also met with us beforehand because I have an anxious dog and it’s my first time leaving with someone besides family so I was anxious as well. After meeting with her, I felt so much better.

We cannot say enough how much we appreciate Kristina. We have 3 dogs, one in which has Epilepsy and is timid with new people and with the first meeting with Kristina our boy loved her! Our other 2 love her as well and that was such a blessing. I highly recommend Kristina.

Hannah was absolutely amazing! I had to leave on a very last-minute trip, and she made the entire experience completely stress-free. She was so responsible, kind, and communicative, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My girl cat is usually very shy and timid, but she really loved Hannah’s calm, kind energy. I will definitely be contacting Hannah again to check in on my animals. I can’t recommend her enough!

Juan was very professional and did exactly what was asked (and more) including coming for a drop-in a few hours prior to make sure that Chester was comfortable. He sent plenty of videos & even brought him to our community’s dog park. Chester even ate his dinner. Thank you, Juan!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
