Wendy took such good care of my cats. I have a new kitten in addition to my two adult cats and she had to maneuver feeding them in 3 areas and spending time with each cat. They were happy and well cared for when I got home.

Simply put LIANNA IS THE BEST!! I totally forgot to leave Lianna a review the first time she cared for my beloved pup for me but on both occasions she has been exceptional. She is so accommodating, responsive, responsible and trustworthy. My dog adores her and it’s clear to see from the videos she takes for me. I feel so lucky to have found Lianna, you couldn’t ask for a better sitter. If you’re reading this, look no further and just do yourself a favor and hire Lianna!

We LOVED having Hannah watch Benny while we were on a trip! I felt so much calmer leaving our boy knowing Hannah would be with him. She sent daily updates on how Benny was doing, took him on SO many walks + adventures, and went above and beyond to ensure Benny was cared for. ❤️ Highly recommend Hannah’s services!

Mackenzie was great! She took the best care of our Charger girl. We received updates daily on how Charger was doing and what they were up too. Mackenzie took our girl on daily walks, got her to eat all her food which is sometimes a challenge and gave her medication as scheduled. I would highly recommend Mackenzie to anyone wanting a special person to take great care of their beloved pet.

Cheyenne really went above and beyond taking care of our babies while we were away! She gave them lots of cuddles and sent lots of great photos and updates, she even did arts and crafts with them and made “paw paintings” with them! Plus she stayed late with them when our flight was delayed. She’s always patient and kind with our big dogs, we’re so grateful to have found such a reliable and thoughtful Dogsitter.

About: I use to pet and babysit a lot throughout the years, sometimes at the same time. Mostly for close friends and family and it's always been very rewarding and fulfilling for me to do. My mission is to look after my clients pets as if they were my own and provide a sense of ease to pet parents while they're in my care. I've recently gone back to college and looking to work part time hours as a dog walker or pet sitter to help me get by. My classes are currently online, and I'm able to which allows for some flexibility in my weekly schedule. I like to ask pet parents to provide me with a written breakdown of everything they would want me to know about they're pet in order to care for them properly. Such as the pets temperament around other pets/animals or if there's any special accomodations needed.

About: I've raised my current dog from puppy... house training, obedience, manners etc. I understand dog psychology and love spending time with them. I also was sitting all my neighbor and family dogs over the years. I'm currently not working, so I'm home most days available to walk your fur baby anytime. I'm walking my dog twice a day currently, can add more walks if needed. I live in an unfenced community with plenty of grass all around us. I walk my puppy on a leash always. I have an adorable Shih Tzu who can keep your fur baby company and playmate. Dogs in this house are part of a family, they can go anywhere couches etc.

Annie stayed in our home and took amazing care of our little dog and our two cats while we were away for a long weekend. I felt such relief after meeting with Annie for the first time to discuss care instructions before the visit. She is obviously a pro and thinks of everything and knows all the right questions to ask to insure your pets will be comfortable and in their normal routine while you are away. After speaking with her, any worries of leaving my furry-kids with a stranger were subsided, and she did not disappoint. While we were gone, she gave us frequent video and photo updates which kept this worried mom at ease. I will definitely be hiring Annie again in the future.

About: I have been in the veterinary medicine field for 8 years now. I have both experiences in small animal clinic as well as emergency medicine. I am very comfortable handling small and large animals. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in with a bachelor’s in agriculture with an emphasis in animal science. Being surrounded by animals is part of my daily routine. Before being offered the position as veterinary technician , I used to work at a pet resort so I am familiar with pet boarding. Working with multiple pets in one household is not a big of a deal. I can administer medication orally and can give injections if needed. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I am currently a full time veterinary technician working from Monday-Friday, making it easier for me to have an open availability for Saturday and Sunday. I can also be available to stay weekdays if needed if scheduling works out. I have a 9 foot fence, making sure that my two German Shepards can not jump out, I also have multiple cameras installed to monitor. I have had a cat enclosure built so that cats can have access to the outside world within a safe and enclosed space.

About: Hi! 👋🏻 From the earliest days of my childhood, I have been surrounded by dogs of all sorts. They were not just pets to me or my family, they were members of our family. Every dog I have ever owned has left a special mark on my upbringing. The memories of chasing after them in the backyard, caring for them, cuddles, and their loyalty throughout my years have all contributed to shaping the person I am today :) 💕. I will take care of your dog like my own! I'm dedicated to providing a safe environment for your furry friend 🐾. Your dog's well-being is my top priority. I will always maintain a watchful eye, ensuring that your dog is secure during walks and playtime. About: Growing up with dogs as beloved members of my family has instilled in me a profound love for animal care. I find genuine joy in tending to puppies, and I've been fortunate to extend my care to my last two doggy boys, accompanying them until the very end of their lives. My last dog, Oreo, was completely blind and deaf in his final years; I tried to make sure he was comfortable at all times. Currently enjoying retirement without any pets at home, I am thrilled to offer your dog full-time care. This includes enjoyable trail walks and a flexible schedule tailored to accommodate the unique preferences of your furry companions. In my retirement, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to tailor my time to meet the unique needs of your dog. Mornings would kick off with a breakfast for them, followed by a refreshing leg-stretching session. Afterward, it's back home for a cozy morning nap. As the afternoon rolls around, I'll take my furry companions out once more, ensuring they enjoy another invigorating walk before the sun sets. My home comes complete with a fully fenced yard, providing a secure haven for your dogs. Their safety is my utmost priority, and you can trust that they will be under constant and attentive care in this protected environment.

About: I am an incoming senior at Cal Poly Pomona In the Animal Health Science program studying to be a licensed vet technician. I also plan to get certified in canine rehabilitation. I have experience with bathing, walking, and taking care of your babies needs! I have been a dog bather at Club Mutt for over a year. I am also a dog momma of a boxer named Kata and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bruno. I have worked at a doggy daycare in Honolulu, Hawaii and have done two vet clinic internships at Priceless Pets Hospital and Chino Hills Animal Hospital and Pet Resort. I will give my full undivided attention to your pets needs whether that be through drop in visits, walks, or meal times. I carefully schedule drop-in visits, walks, and feedings so each pet receives my full attention, exercise, and consistent care. I unfortunately can’t have pets in my own home, due to my dogs being reactive. Though, I will treat your babies as if they were mine. I am happy to accommodate any special needs your babies may have (:!

I can’t say enough good things about Victoria! This was my second time booking her, and she once again took exceptional care of my pups during a challenging time for us. Just a couple weeks before our scheduled pet sitting, our house flooded, and Victoria was incredibly flexible in accommodating us. She had to watch the dogs at a nearby hotel and kept me updated with adorable pictures of their walks and all the fun they had together. Her dedication and love for animals are evident, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in such good hands. I will definitely continue to book with Victoria for all our future pet sitting needs. Highly recommend!

Thank you Makayla! My dogs have never stayed with a dog sitter before and they immediately liked Makayla. Our little one is typically very shy with new people and she just happily went up to meet her with no problems. Our dogs get along sorta :/ and Makayla assured us she would follow or protocols to keep everyone safe and happy and she did. Both dogs wanted to say goodby, they enjoyed their time together.

FAQs for House Sitting - Chino

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Chino on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 10,620 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Chino. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chino walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chino maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chino choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chino. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
