About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own three dogs, two 10-year-olds and a 4-year-old—and regularly care for my sister’s dogs (ages 4 and 2). I also help a friend with her senior dog, who is 14. I walk my dogs daily and often dog sit and house sit for my sister, so I’m very familiar with different ages, energy levels, and routines. Whether it’s giving extra love to older dogs or keeping younger ones active and entertained, I treat every pup like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I mostly work from home and have plenty of flexibility throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or drop-ins. I only go into the office 1–2 times a month, so I’m able to provide consistent care and attention for pets throughout the week. When caring for pets in their home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by maintaining their routines and staying in their familiar environment. I stay overnight at my friend’s apartment whenever I care for her senior dog to ensure she feels safe and secure, and I always stay at my sister’s house when dog sitting her two dogs. I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and I always respect the home and preferences of each pet parent. I also provide regular photo updates and clear communication throughout the stay so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to be a calm, consistent, and loving presence so your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.

I work from home and communicate very well with clients. I can make time to be there for you and you fur-baby when you need me. I am patient with animals and love them as my own. I’m knowledgeable with giving meds if needed and an animals behavior. I know how to deal with pets and read their body language.

“Angela is amazing! She houses sat and watched my Honey for 3 days while we were out of town. She kept us updated morning and night and sent lots of photos. Thank you Angela for spoiling our baby.”

“What a great experience. Yasmin did such a great job. We immediately felt comfortable and couple tell she was exceptional with dogs. We would highly recommend her and 100% will utilize her services again.”

“Tanya treated my fur babies great, sent pictures and provided great care. The only complaint which isn't Tanya's fault was Rover app is difficult to use. They messed up the billing, the fees and at one point refunded payment in error. I had to spend a good portion of my time away sorting the billing mess.”

About: I've had cats almost continuously since I was a kid. About ten years ago, I started volunteering at a rescue. I started out mostly looking after cats, but I quickly fell in love with the dogs too. I got more involved in the operations of the rescue, walking dogs, taking care of cats and even sometimes rabbits, giving them medicine, helping to trap strays arranging adoption. For a long time, I drove a van for the rescue, transporting animals from one place to another, from a county shelter to the rescue, from the rescue to the vet, from one rescue center to another. So I've handled a lot of animals under a lot of different circumstances. Frightened Great Danes, restless pit bulls, terrified Chihuahuas. Healthy animals, sick animals, injured animals, puppies and kittens, senior animals. I started pet-sitting regularly about a year later. My client had five dogs and a cat. One of the dogs was a senior dog. Two of the dogs were kind of big, and they would get somewhat aggressive with each other if not carefully managed. The little dog had limited use of his hind legs and pulled himself around like a seal. I had a list of instructions about their meds and the amount of food and their quirks. I met the dogs beforehand and read the whole list before I started, And I got through the holiday weekend. They've been my clients for many years now. Those dogs were my buddies. If I don't hear from the clients for a while, I text and ask how my dog buddies are doing. I've got a lot of experience with many types of dogs, and I make the dogs a priority when I'm watching them. If the owners are on vacation, I want to do my best to make it a vacation for dogs as well. I have some regular clients for whom I walk their dogs, but that's just a few hours in the morning several times a week. And they are usually very flexible if I get a pet-sitting job where I can't leave. So my schedule is usually open. I like to stay at the client's home, when possible. I enjoy spending the day (or the week) with somebody's dogs or cats. The first few hours are devoted to making friends with the dogs. It's best to meet them a few days before the assignment, when the owners are with them, and the dogs can check you out and the owners can let them know that you are OK. Unless the assignment starts very late, it's best to walk around the house and the yard with the dogs. They like that, and they get used to the sitter if you establish a routine. Walk them as much as possible. Play with them. Try to be a substitute for the owner, and don't just be somebody who's watching the dogs.

About: My first experience caring for dogs was working as an orderly at an Animal Hospital at the age of 16. Oddly, the difficult pets always warmed up to me, which in turn made for a successful boarding experience! I continued on to work as a receptionist and vet tech assistant. Ultimately, I chose not to pursue the medical field as a career focus since the experience revealed that I'm extra sensitive to suffering and loss. The work I had been doing the past 5 years required travel and frequent relocating, and for this reason I presently am not a pet owner. I did recently begin staying with my mother after she lost her husband, and here we have a spunky pitbull, a lazy cat and 5 restless tortoises! My respect for animals, domesticated and wild, runs deep. The raw honesty they possess is pure and unwavering. I admire them. and their effortless teachings. My growth is indebted to these magnificent beings. If ever you could use a helping hand, I would love to meet and bond with your special one(s)! My work schedule fluctuates day to day, week to week, and month to month, year by year. For this reason, I frequently update my availability on Rover's website. Currently, my residence is available for Doggy Day Care every Monday between the approximate hours of 11am and 6pm. The house is comfortable and the backyard is spacious, grassy and enclosed by brick walls. Concerning visiting your home, please describe every possible detail as to how you go about your pet care routines and I will eagerly follow suit!

“Ashley took great care of my baby for the evening! My boy is very hyper, jumpy, & humpy. She was able to manage him with lots of redirection and love. Thank you Ashley!”

“Athena was amazing. She is reliable, trustworthy and a kind hearted person. Athena was wonderful with our dog who has separation anxiety. For us knowing our dog is in good hands and well taken care of is extremely important. Athena was quick replying to messages, sent daily photos and kept us updated which gave us peace of mind. I highly recommend Athena and without a doubt will select her again.”

“Caleb was a recommendation of another 5 star sitter that watches our boys. We are always a bit unsure trusting a new person with our fur family (and home), but Caleb blew away our expectations. He was communicative, kind and made sure to ask questions about their routine and expectations. It could not have gone smoother and we’ll definitely be book with him again in the future.”

“Iso just adored Sherry, from the moment they met. He normally is not a cuddler, but he cuddled with her and followed her everywhere. Her little video updates kept us content knowing he was getting lots of love, while we were away. She is a very sweet and responsible pet sitter. Thank you!”

“Stacey is the greatest. I was really nervous about leaving our little girl for the first time but Stacey totally eased my fears on the very first day. Her nightly report cards along with pictures and video showed what good care our baby was receiving. The smile on our Gracie’s face said it all. And since she was watching Gracie during the awful heat wave we were having, she found alternative ways to give her exercise without exposing her to the heat and humidity. We used the house sitting service and she not only took care of our pet but my plants and pool. I highly recommend her for any of your pet needs. You can tell she is a professional and loves animals!”

“Shanise is a great communicator, good with the dogs, knows what she’s doing, and very responsible. All good.”

Melanie was great with our cat and our house. She was there for several days and took care of everything.

Lily did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was away! She kept me updated with regular messages and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I came home to a clean, well-kept house and a happy kitty. I’m so glad I found her and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Lydia cared for our German Shepherd puppy and senior Newfoundland while we went on a short vacation. Immediately after meeting with her it was evident that she loves dogs and has a great connection with them. She took very good notes to ensure she followed the pups routine and kept us informed with plenty of photos and messages. I would highly recommend her for house sitting or other pet services.

James recently watched my fiancé and i’s three dogs while we were out of town for a few days. He was phenomenal, always on time with daily updates. I told him to play with the dogs in the back yard once a day and he did it 3+ times. Kept me in the loop every day and folded all the sheets and took out the garbage. Would give more than 5 stars if it was an option

Jillian was amazing with our dog! She was warm and affectionate making our dog comfortable. She played with her and provided photos everyday of our dog looking very happy. Can’t say good enough things about Jillian, will definitely ask her to watch our little one again!

Ashley was amazing with our 2 dogs! We hired Ashley to spend the night and stay with our dogs for the weekend while our son got married. She was wonderful, took the dogs on a walk, gave them treats and love them. We were in a bind and needed her to pick up another dog and add it to our household. Ashley said yes, without hesitating she picked up the other dog for us and brought it back to my house. She was a trooper and her time was greatly appreciated especially for our busy important weekend. I definitely recommend Ashley to anyone and we will definitely be using her again!!

Mackenzie R is terrific. Where can you find someone with her experience? She was great with our dog Blaze, and very professional in all her interactions, and very communicative. We would book her again in a heartbeat.

Shanise is a great communicator, good with the dogs, knows what she’s doing, and very responsible. All good.

Brenda looked over our home and two cats while we were on our honeymoon. We came home to the house looking even better than we left it and our two cats happy to see us. She was communicative and sent pictures of our fur babies while we were away. Thank you for keeping our babies company!

Claire did a wonderful job with Marnie. She followed all our instructions and Marnie was such a happy girl after she left. My fiance and I completely trust Claire with any future pet sitting needs we have! :)

I highly recommend Leah for anyone in need of a trustworthy and attentive house/dog sitter. She went above and beyond in taking care of our dogs and home. Leah kept us updated on how the dogs were doing, which provided great peace of mind. Whenever she needed to step out, she informed us right away. She was also kind enough to take out the trash and keep the house neat and tidy. Her thoughtful gestures, such as leaving a note, snacks, and toys for our dogs, truly showed how much she cared.
