About: Hi! My name is Valentina, I’ve been walking dogs for three years now in New York City with another app. I recently moved to California for Veterinary School and it will be my first time working with Rover! I’ve volunteered at dog shelters where I was in charge of walking and feeding them and also administered medications when needed. In New York I had the opportunity to walk over 150 dogs as a part time job while I was also working as a vet assistant in a clinic where we were fear free certified so I take it very seriously to establish a fear free and trusted bond with each animal. I’m really patient with animals and always make sure that they’re having a good time during their walks because it’s not just a walk for them. It’s their opportunity to explore and have some enrichment time! I speak English, Spanish and French so I do my best to establish a clear and transparent communication with every owner about their expectations and requirements of each pet! I currently don’t have any pets here in California so I’m always thrilled to get to spend some time with other pets through these job! I hope I can be a good fit for your furry friend! I’m currently in veterinary school so my availability is mostly during the weekends or afternoons after 5pm. But during the summer I’m open to any other day! I always make sure to communicate as much as possible with the owners. I like to provide a clear picture of how the walk/ sitting is going and to make sure they can feel as close as possible to their pets while they are not with them. I like to let owners know when we are about to leave and then during a pause send them a picture during the walk but I would usually put my phone away until we go back just to be fully present during the walk. I always make sure they have clean water before I leave and to leave them with a treat or toy while I’m leaving just for positive reinforcement!
“Melanie is one of the best sitters we have had watch our doggies. She took the time to meet our dogs beforehand, and she was very respectful of our home. We will absolutely be using her again!”

“Hunter has been absolutely amazing with our 12-week-old German Shepherd, Rocky! She’s a sassy puppy with lots of energy, and since Hunter started caring for her, we’ve seen such a positive change. She’s happier, more settled, and even less nippy—which says a lot at this stage! Hunter is patient, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Rocky is in such great hands. He keeps us updated and truly goes above and beyond in the care he provides. I can’t recommend Hunter enough. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pup, he’s the one. We’ll definitely continue booking with him!”

About: I've taken care of my friends cats and small dogs when I lived in Spain and took care of my own pets for the last 7 years. For the last 5 months, I've been volunteering at an animal shelter and fostering mama cats and their babies. I work from home and can visit people's houses or take in small animals. I work from home part-time. In my spare time I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I am available to stay at your place or bring your small animal in as needed. I have an extra bedroom and a senior dog who is very calm. I also have a safe neighborhood for walks and a park nearby.
“Stacy was everything we could ask for to watch our two kitties. She was dependable, accountable, trustworthy… but most of all she gave love to our fur babies. Sent photos and even brushed our Patrick. We like to travel a lot and most definitely would like to have Stacy watch our kitties again. Thank you Stacy!!!”

I do have a young child that so it is important to know if your dog is okay around children. Since she was a puppy, our dog Marlow has been around many dogs, big and small, and has loved welcoming them into our home as well. She gets so excited having a buddy each time! About: What sets me apart is my dedication to truly understanding each pet inside and outside of their homes. I offer senior care, follow routines closely, send constant updates, and pride myself on being punctual and reliable. Outside of pet sitting, I am a full time college student. However this will not stop me from caring for your pet as I will set time aside. I hope to offer my love and care while in college in Pomona and at home in San Rafael. If you are hoping to book me at either location feel free to reach out and I will provide my availability. Also feel free to ask any further questions :) As a full-time college student, pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine. Spending time with pets helps me de-stress, stay motivated, and balance school with something I truly enjoy. Please Read: My availability is subject to change due to workload, finals, etc. I will be taking classes during the fall, spring, and summer. But do not worry as I will stay on top of keeping you informed. In my personal home, I have limited back porch but surrounded by lots of grass areas in my neighborhood. While away, I dorm on campus.
About: I have a senior 13 year old shi tzuh and have a lot of experience with carrying for dogs from the puppy stage to the senior stage. I also rescued two cats in the past 2 years and have learned so much and love to treat my babies like family. Friends and family ask me to check in on their pets while away on trips as I am reliable and great with animals. You can count on me for your pet care needs. I'm currently a part time student and I have plenty of time to check in on your lovely pets, take them on walks, give them food, water, and entertain them. I live in an apartment with a roomy balcony. I take my dog out for walks and poppy breaks, I let let both my dog and cats relax on the balcony to get their vitamin D and take afternoon naps. The cats mainly stay inside and play and my dog is very mellow and like to relax after her walks and poppy breaks.

“Dana recently watched our three kitties while we were on vacation and we were so impressed by how well she cared for our pets! Our cats are pretty skittish around strangers but they warmed right up to Dana. Even our most nervous kitty was asking for belly rubs by the end of the visit! Dana was very attentive and communicative. She reached out promptly when she had a question and that was greatly appreciated. Overall, we’re very grateful to Dana and her partner for helping us out and will definitely plan on booking with them again!”

“Zoe was a great cat-sitter who took great care of our cats! Zoe was very attentive and showed great attention to detail and during our meet and greet asked thoughtful questions. Updates and replies were thorough and timely. Overall a fantastic person to trust with your pets!”

About: I have always had a love for animals. I would distinguish myself as having a well rounded experience with all types of animals from; dogs, cat, birds, puppies and kittens! I will do my absolute best to make sure your loved one feels like they are still with the family. I am an eagle scout so you can count on me to always be prepared! I am currently working part time at my job. But you can always count on me for anything needed, as I am pretty much available anytime in the afternoon and night times any day! So if your special ones just need a play date or just a check up you can definitely count on me! I have always learned to make sure the animals have a sense of trust with me, making sure they get familiar with my scent and not overwhelming them with too much as well. Treats have always seemed to do the trick but I also try my best to show them that I am not trying to invade their space either. Once that trust is made with them, having play dates and continuous visits is so much easier.
“Stacey is great with the kitty and I especially liked her updates, it made me comfortable that someone was giving great care and I could enjoy and relax on my vacation. Vicki C.”
“Amirah is a very great communicator and extremely kind not only with our Fur baby but also with us. Our cat is a handful and she does her best to make sure she’s taken care of in any way we need. We’re glad we have a sitter we can rely on.”

“Lottie did an amazing job watching our 2 cats while we went out of town. We got plenty of updates on them while we were away and the cats really seemed to love Lottie, even our shy guy. We will definitely book with Lottie again for any future trips.”

We are very happy with the care Kellar provided to Barney. This was the first time using a pet care service and we were a little apprehensive, as no one other than family members have ever taken care of him since he became diabetic 4 years ago. After meeting with Kellar prior to the booking, I knew it would be a good fit. We were happy to receive multiple photos from Kellar of Barney throughout the visits. We will definitely use Kellar in the future

Lily cared for our cat Spirit while we were away on our honeymoon and did a fantastic job, she was able to give her medicine, take care of her food water and littler all while giving her all the attention she needed! We will absolutely have her again in the future. Definitely recommend!

Our kitty’s love Stacy. When she came over to drop off the key, one met her at the front door and the other who was in my lap) started purring and meowed to her like she talks to us. This is our third time Stacy has watched our kitties for us and I will definitely hire her again. My kitties agree with me. She communicates well, sends photos of our kitties and I feel she is very trustworthy.

Stacey was a godsend. She gave my kitties their food and medicine as promised. She also gave them love. This was clear when I came home and found them happy and perky. She is a reliable, kind, responsible adult. I am so grateful to have found her and will for sure use her services again in the future.

We booked Skylar to care for our three cats for two weeks and she was on time for drop-ins and attentive during each session. She was respectful and able to adapt to each cat's personality, especially one of our high-energy cats, and gave them all plenty of pets and treats. Skylar brought in our mail and packages; kept our spaces clean, and even handled our bins for trash collection days. Will definitely book Skylar again in the future and highly recommend her!

We had Jamie look after our cat Winnie while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing! She did daily check-ins and provided us with sweet pictures of Winnie, which kept our minds at ease throughout our trip. Jamie’s love and care for our baby were evident, and we felt so comforted knowing she was in good hands. We highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!
