“Amy was very punctual and reliable. She did such an amazing job looking after our cat, Kitten; he was so well cared for and happy when we got home. The house was clean and in perfect order. We will definitely use Amy again!”

“Thank you Melanie for taking care of Stormy! My only feedback would be more consistency in the times requested and accepted…we are very flexible but it does help with the coming and goings and monitoring the house while we are out of town. Otherwise, everything was great!”

About: $20 off your first time using Rover if you use https://www.rover.com/sit/leslyr97923 :) I have grown up with dogs of my own and pet sat for family members and friends growing up. I always make sure my pet friends felt welcome and at home in my house. I work a hybrid schedule, Monday-Wednesday in office and Thursday and Friday at home. We’d love to accommodate to drop offs/pick ups, but for those in office days we’d only be able to accept guest dogs after 5:30 pm. Alongside my husband and daughter, we enjoy including your pup into our little family and providing lots of warm love. ~~~Meet & Greets~~~ Although I do not require meet and greets, it is important that your pup is fully comfortable with other people and dogs. I do have a young child that so it is important to know if your dog is okay around children. Since she was a puppy, our dog Marlow has been around many dogs, big and small, and has loved welcoming them into our home as well. She gets so excited having a buddy each time! Although I cannot offer tours of the home, we could always meet in the front yard. If an abnormal time schedule is needed, I'm happy to chat and discuss any adjustments that are needed if I have the capability that week. Your pets are always top priority! During their very first stay, I like to make sure that your peace of mind is met and will send you multiple pictures and updates. We have a fenced yard. We live in a nice and quiet neighborhood where I’ve always felt safe going for walks in. Please let me know if your furbaby needs any special accommodations!
“Stacy was everything we could ask for to watch our two kitties. She was dependable, accountable, trustworthy… but most of all she gave love to our fur babies. Sent photos and even brushed our Patrick. We like to travel a lot and most definitely would like to have Stacy watch our kitties again. Thank you Stacy!!!”

“Amirah was simply phenomenal! I cannot recommend her enough. At first I was worried leaving my cat in an unfamiliar environment with a new person who is new to my cats personality and needs. But before she even met with us, Amirah had amazing communication and would send us updates with photos throughout his stay. She is such a genuinely kind woman and I would definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young and have had both dogs and cats as part of my family for many years. Friends and relatives have trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every animal like my own. I’m committed to providing the highest level of care, attention, and love to your furry family member. I’m currently working part time and a full time student, I am available mornings, later afternoons and nights to care, play, or simply check-in with your pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable inviting someone into your home. I treat every client’s home with the utmost respect, care, and professionalism. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities, and I’m committed to providing dependable, trustworthy care every visit.
About: I've taken care of dogs from a young age from small dogs all the way to my uncles Bernese mountain dog. Right now I have a Shepsky rescue dog who weighs 67 pounds and one of the most important things to me is having enough control over my dog to ensure his safety in any situation. Even the most well trained dogs can end up in an unsafe situation and especially with larger dogs those situations can become very unsafe if you can't comfortably remove the dog from the situation if needed. I want owners to feel confident their dogs of all sizes, from the hairless rat to the 100+ immoveable wall, will be safe no matter what happens. When my dog was first learning his way around he was 65 pounds and 5 years old and he taught me that sometimes even on leash things can get too exciting and this led to a few walks ending with him being carried home like a baby when things got overwhelming. From the age of 13, I worked every weekend at a wildlife hospital taking care of a wide variety of animals including coyotes and foxes. This taught me how to give medicine to wild animals and learn how important reading body language is. Whenever my dog gets worked up I try calmly discuss the issue with him and take action to defuse things which leads to many conversations about how our neighbor is allowed to be in their front yard and we really shouldn't scream at them as we walk by. Overall my goal is to follow the schedule and rules you set because each dog is different and who would know better than their owner. I am currently working from home with no set hours so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets, and can adapt to whatever feeding/walk/play schedule your pet is on. I will always ask anytime I have questions instead of assuming, and if you write a clear schedule I will follow it to a T. I have no interest in doing things my way because I know all animals have their way of doing things and who else would know them better than their owners.
“Wendy took such good care of my cats. I have a new kitten in addition to my two adult cats and she had to maneuver feeding them in 3 areas and spending time with each cat. They were happy and well cared for when I got home.”

About: I have always had a love for animals. I would distinguish myself as having a well rounded experience with all types of animals from; dogs, cat, birds, puppies and kittens! I will do my absolute best to make sure your loved one feels like they are still with the family. I am an eagle scout so you can count on me to always be prepared! I am currently working part time at my job. But you can always count on me for anything needed, as I am pretty much available anytime in the afternoon and night times any day! So if your special ones just need a play date or just a check up you can definitely count on me! I have always learned to make sure the animals have a sense of trust with me, making sure they get familiar with my scent and not overwhelming them with too much as well. Treats have always seemed to do the trick but I also try my best to show them that I am not trying to invade their space either. Once that trust is made with them, having play dates and continuous visits is so much easier.
“Lottie did an amazing job watching our 2 cats while we went out of town. We got plenty of updates on them while we were away and the cats really seemed to love Lottie, even our shy guy. We will definitely book with Lottie again for any future trips.”

“Stacey is great with the kitty and I especially liked her updates, it made me comfortable that someone was giving great care and I could enjoy and relax on my vacation. Vicki C.”

La Verne cat parents share their Rover experiences
Stacey was a godsend. She gave my kitties their food and medicine as promised. She also gave them love. This was clear when I came home and found them happy and perky. She is a reliable, kind, responsible adult. I am so grateful to have found her and will for sure use her services again in the future.

This was our first time using a pet-sitter for our kitties so we were quite nervous but Lily eased all our concerns. We booked her for a few drop-in visits and she provided us with many photos and updates during each visit. She was also great with our kitties who are usually skittish around new people. We were extremely impressed by the communication, service, and care that Lily provided and will definitely book with her again in the future. If you book with Lily you can trust that your pets will be in good hands!

Stacy was everything we could ask for to watch our two kitties. She was dependable, accountable, trustworthy… but most of all she gave love to our fur babies. Sent photos and even brushed our Patrick. We like to travel a lot and most definitely would like to have Stacy watch our kitties again. Thank you Stacy!!!

We booked Skylar to care for our three cats for two weeks and she was on time for drop-ins and attentive during each session. She was respectful and able to adapt to each cat's personality, especially one of our high-energy cats, and gave them all plenty of pets and treats. Skylar brought in our mail and packages; kept our spaces clean, and even handled our bins for trash collection days. Will definitely book Skylar again in the future and highly recommend her!

We had Jamie look after our cat Winnie while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing! She did daily check-ins and provided us with sweet pictures of Winnie, which kept our minds at ease throughout our trip. Jamie’s love and care for our baby were evident, and we felt so comforted knowing she was in good hands. We highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!
