“Diana took care of our elderly dog for 6 days, coming twice a day to cuddle, feed, and walk our dog. She gave us regular updates and sent us photos of our dog. When we got home, we could tell that our dog had been well cared for. Would definitely recommend Diana to care for your pet.”

“First time using Rover trusting and feeling comfortable having someone watch my pup. Lily is the sweetest and most kind sitter. She was great from initial contact. My dog even liked her enough to give her kisses from the start even though he has massive separation anxiety. She kept updates and communication very well. She took him potty played with him and took him on a short walk. I totally trust her and highly recommend and will be using her again in the future.”

“She was great! Great communication great care provided to my dogs and cats! She was so nice when we met and remained polite the entire time! I def recommend and if she's available next time, she'll be the first I look for to care after my pets!”

“Michelle always takes such great care of our Anakin ! I received updates for each visit and was very responsive . I hope that she can continue to care for him on future trips!”

“Beth Ann was amazing!! This was the first time using someone on Rover & she made everything so easy & comforting for me with someone new to watch our 3 mini dachshunds. She was super punctual, great communication & very loving/caring with our dogs. I would highly recommend her!”

About: Hello my name is Madison Gonzalez! I have experience from 4 years of experience as a kennel attendant or dog bather/groomer. I graduated with my dog grooming certificate in 2023 including my Pet Cpr certification. Experience: Senior dogs: Throughout my jobs, I have had experience walking, feeding specialized meals, and providing home sits for senior dogs! Puppies: Including puppy, I have had experience walking, feeding specialized meals, and providing home sits for senior dogs! Although I don’t have experience, I would really be enthusiastic to learn how to administer medication if taught and supervised! Pet care is always important to fit through my school routine I have currently going on. Although it is online, I can always make time during breakfast, lunch, and dinner windows. Weekly I am not too busy and barely have any unexpected surprises, especially on the weekends where I’m completely free. UPDATE: I will be starting EMT school August 3rd (yay!!). I will be busy between 6pm-10pm but anything before 5:30 I can fit into my schedule! I also don’t mind doing late night stops after 10pm! :) For my pets I care for, I always walk them during the breakfast, lunch, and dinner windows making sure they go potty and eat/snack for their part of the day. For clients, I always take photos on my walk and update whether they went restroom or even ate their food.
“Kellar is a wonderful sitter- went above and beyond to spend time with our two shy kittens and sent lots of photos and updates so we had peace of mind. Kellar is professional, responsive, and treated our kitties with care.”

About: I use to pet and babysit a lot throughout the years, sometimes at the same time. Mostly for close friends and family and it's always been very rewarding and fulfilling for me to do. My mission is to look after my clients pets as if they were my own and provide a sense of ease to pet parents while they're in my care. I've recently gone back to college and looking to work part time hours as a dog walker or pet sitter to help me get by. My classes are currently online, and I'm able to which allows for some flexibility in my weekly schedule. I like to ask pet parents to provide me with a written breakdown of everything they would want me to know about they're pet in order to care for them properly. Such as the pets temperament around other pets/animals or if there's any special accomodations needed.
“Ally made my time away from my pup much less stressful by being attentive to detail, keeping me updated and giving my dog the care he needed and then some! Would love to have her back and would highly recommend her to anyone else.”

Diana made our first experience with Rover incredibly smooth. She was kind enough to meet with us and our 2 kitties before booking and it was a perfect match! They absolutely adored her—we will definitely be reaching out again in the future. If you want a trustworthy, warm, professional sitter who goes above and beyond, Diana is your girl!!

Matthew did a great job watching my two senior cats while we were away for 2 weeks. They were not even mad at me this time when we returned. They made little messes here and there and Matt always cleaned it up perfect for us. I highly recommend Matthew as a pet sitter!
Hannah was absolutely amazing! I had to leave on a very last-minute trip, and she made the entire experience completely stress-free. She was so responsible, kind, and communicative, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My girl cat is usually very shy and timid, but she really loved Hannah’s calm, kind energy. I will definitely be contacting Hannah again to check in on my animals. I can’t recommend her enough!

Amanda was the best! She was communicative and so kind! Your animal babies and homes are in great hands with her. This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t recommend Amanda enough! She gave my kitty the best care and love while I was away. She’s amazing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
