“Tanya did a fantastic job with Charley. She was super flexible with my husband and I trying to get the visits scheduled. I appreciated her communication and patience! Tanya was kind with Charley and gave him the love and attention he needed during what was a VERY busy week for us! Would definitely recommend Tanya and would use her again!”

“Rosalinda was friendly with my dogs and myself. She came over beforehand to meet them, which was so nice. She took great care of my dogs, sent lots of photo updates and was communicative during her stay.”

About: I absolutely adore animals, (I say I prefer them to people lol) and genuinely enjoy making new furry, feathered or scaly friends. - a little about me: I’ve had 18+ years of experience caring for a variety of animals of all ages including (but not limited to) dogs, cats, fish, chicken, tortoises, and even a bearded dragon! I’m a regular pet and house sitter for family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. I have experience bathing/grooming, dispensing oral medication, walking, and basic pet first aid. I take pride in my ability to quickly adapt to the unique personality and needs of your pet(s). I recently graduated with my bachelor's in psychology at the University of California, Riverside. I'm a small business owner, ex athlete (soccer and swim) and former nanny. My other hobbies include: painting, hiking, gardening, reading and baking. Over the years I've owned dogs, fish and a snake. I currently own a boxer/staffy mix who is my best friend and truly the biggest joy to be around. She’s a sassy little girl with lots of energy. - I accept same day and holiday bookings, overnight stays, and ask that you provide a 3 day notice (when possible) should you need to cancel for any reason. I have a remote job which gives me lots of free time to fill with exercising, playing, caring and bringing excitement and stimulation to your pet(s). Having a fur baby of my own I understand the anxieties of leaving your loved one(s) with someone new. I take the responsibility of caring for your home and pet(s) very seriously and am happy to answer any questions you may have. I don’t provide in home or boarding services at the moment, all services will have to be done from the pet owners home. *This is subject to change and will be updated accordingly*
“She was great! Great communication great care provided to my dogs and cats! She was so nice when we met and remained polite the entire time! I def recommend and if she's available next time, she'll be the first I look for to care after my pets!”

“Jessica is amazing - she not only make sure basic tasks get done (change litter box, fill water fountain etc), she also treat my kitties like her own. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, and family and friends have trusted me to walk, feed, and look after their pets. Along with my own dogs, I’ve also gained experience volunteering at the animal shelter, where I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved—whether that’s through playtime, exercise, or just being a comforting presence. I am currently a senior in high school and am available for dog boarding on weekends and weekdays from 4 PM onwards. I’m reliable, responsible, and love spending time with pets—whether it’s playing, walking, or giving them plenty of cuddles. I’ll make sure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a fenced yard where dogs can play safely, and I can crate your dog if needed. I have one dog of my own who is very sweet and would enjoy spending time with your furry family member. I make sure pets are always supervised, have access to fresh water, and maintain a clean and secure environment. I follow any special instructions you provide and can administer medication if needed, ensuring your pet stays happy, healthy, and safe.
“Kind, communicative, understanding, and helped us confidently know that our nervous little Chihuahua was in good hands and loved well While we were away on our trip. Phenomenal!”

About: Congratulations — you’ve found a truly different kind of sitter!! We seem to have a little magic with animals. Over the past two years, we’ve cared for dozens of dogs, and we believe the kindness you show to animals comes back to you from the world.💕 Many fur parents have witnessed this “magic” themselves—they’ve become my long-term clients, and some have even turned into friends. We even host fun backyard BBQs together with all the fur babies running around. Trust me, your fur baby will never be bored here. Besides at least two daily walks, I love taking them for water play, surfing, camping, hiking, ball games, frisbee, and even chasing my drone—all with your permission, of course. We believe that when a fur baby is truly happy, you’ll feel it too. Animals never lie💗 ☝️To ensure each fur baby receives plenty of love and attentive care in our home, we only host one dog at a time, unless they come from the same household. Both my husband and I work from home, and we’re in the international trade industry, so our schedule follows the Asian calendar. This means that during most U.S. holidays, we have plenty of availability to serve as pet sitters. I have a beautiful, fenced backyard and live just one minute away from nearby parks. I work out, run, and go for walks daily, so I can easily ensure at least two potty breaks for your dog every day.
“Leaving Zoe behind is never easy—she’s not just a pet, she’s family. It’s always stressful trying to find the right person to not only care for her, but also to trust in your home. The overthinking can be overwhelming at times. But from the moment I connected with Cyerra, I felt a sense of comfort and trust that’s so rare to find. Her warmth, patience, and genuine love for animals shined through immediately. She treated Zoe with the same tenderness and attention I would, and that means everything to me. The thoughtful updates, sweet photos, and seeing Zoe so relaxed and happy made all the difference. Cyerra, thank you for loving her like your own. You are truly a gem.”

“I feel very fortunate to have found Bonnie. She has cared for my pup twice now, and it’s been a wonderful fit. She’s always punctual (often early), professional, and attentive with my dog. Bonnie stays in constant communication and frequently sends photo updates, which I truly appreciate. I hope she continues to be available, as I’m confident she will quickly become my go-to sitter. Thank you, Bonnie—you’re amazing!”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 9 from neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with pet sitting reptiles, dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies and even horses. I own a bearded dragon and two small dogs, both potty trained with a doggy door available for them to come inside and out. I volunteered for a few years at my local animal shelter with the newborn kittens , walking dogs, and sometimes helping with their pigs and goats. Both of my dogs are friendly with others. I'm currently working part time so I am mostly available all week other than mornings on Friday (10am-1pm) and Saturday (9am-12pm). If it's alright for me to be able to leave to go to work I can pet sit all week long. My own dogs get fed early in the morning then again right around dinner time. Let me know your dogs feeding schedule and I will make sure to implement it. My dogs are also regularly walked so I can easily bring yours along or walk them separately depending on what works best. I have two small dogs, both uncrated and well behaved/friendly. I have a doggy door available for your dogs, so if they are used to coming inside and out, they are able to use it. I do want to put on here that I have a full concrete backyard with walls on all sides and a pool. So definitely make sure your pup is okay with being near a pool. And if not, I can also put up gates to block the pool, just message and let me know. Dogs are blocked off and trained to stay out of the living room because we have carpet but they have access to the rest of the house, not allowed on any furniture other than the couches we have outside and their own doggy beds.
About: I have pet experience of watching and talking care of dogs as big as boxers. Taking them on walks, feeding them and playing with them. I also know a few tricks I can teach them (treats are involved). I don’t mind walking the smallest to the biggest dog. I like showing each dog the love and respect that they deserve! If you need a little more time for the walk please feel free to let me know I totally know how it is when you need more time for other responsibilities or maybe you just need a break, whatever it is please communicate with me! I don’t mind playing with your dog and getting them tired out so that they can come back home rested and ready to relax. What are you waiting for? Book me now and let’s get your pup walking!! P.S. (As of August 14th-May 29th I will be working Monday- Friday I will be free Friday after 3p up until Sunday night)

Jessica took time with my 2 cats when she came over to feed them. They have to be separated and both areas and litter boxes were clean. My flight was delayed and she came an extra day - it was nice not having to worry about it. I would definitely recommend her and I will call her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
