Sadly, my boyfriend whom I live with is terribly allergic to all animals. That doesn’t stop us from frequently visiting the animal shelters to visit the animals and give them the attention that they deserve! If I watch your pet, just know he is just as excited to hear about them and see all of their cute pictures!

Information that is vital to know when booking would be any medical conditions, eating habits, how many times a day they need to be out to go potty (especially around my busy schedule, it is nice to know how long they can go without a bathroom break!) and how they react with other animals, children, and people! I am comfortable with a range of conditions and I have plenty of experience with medication administration of all sorts!
A typical day
I love to take them on walks, play fetch outside in the yard, get some much-needed snuggles in, and even work on training if the owner requests! I’d love to take your pup to dog parks or walk around different parks in town! I need extra exercise and so does your pup! I am also known for inventive strategies to get your pets’ brains stimulated! I am a big fan of enrichment and I will find creative ways for them to have fun while I am away!

Hi there! I’m Kellie! I am currently a 1st year veterinary student who recently moved to California from the Midwest! I have spent my life gathering experience for veterinary school. This has included multiple years as a veterinary assistant where I was trained extensively on medication administration (oral, transdermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc) and I feel confident caring for pets of any age and species! With my time as a veterinary assistant, i have learned many different tricks to reduce anxiety, provide extra mental stimulation while you’re away, and give your pet the best stay-cation! I quickly form bonds with all of my clients and pets and treat them as my own :) At this time, i don’t have pets of my own. My schedule is entirely too busy to have my own, so I get my fill by petsitting! This has been an exciting way to meet new species and breeds that I don’t often see! As a photographer at heart, i love sending fun pictures while you’re away! I often take action shots during playtime to show just how much fun we are having!

This is our first time using a service/app like this. We were in a bind with a looming trip, and honesty had no other options besides one of us missing altogether. We were nervous having previously only used family and close friends to house sit and dog sit. However Kellie’s reviews and number of repeat clients had us feeling a little more comfortable. Luckily she was available very last minute and agreed to meet with us and the dogs which made us feel even more comfortable with the process. We left and by the 2nd day we were feeling much more comfortable with the situation due to her updates and photos. When the trip ended and we returned, we found the house in better shape than we left it in, and the dogs were still happy and healthy. Overall we are very pleased with Kellie and are happy we have found someone that we may be able to use again!
