About: I have been the go to pet sitter for family and friends. I lovingly cared for my own dog from puppy, through her senior years. I know how much animals/pets have meant to me, and I will treat your beloved pets/family members with the same love and attention as if they were my own. I currently work remotely from home full time and have the time and flexibility to play, walk, feed, and care for your pups or cats. I am available most weekends with notice. I have a fenced home with 2 friendly dogs. Please let me know all your pets needs: • Frequency of walks • Emotional triggers • Meal times • Likes and Dislikes • Medical history • Bathroom schedule

About: Consider me a house sitter as well!! I have taken on additional responsibilities such as collecting mail, dusting, sweeping, watering plants, yard, moving vehicles. Your wish is my command. I currently work from home. I work for the County of San Bernardino so I went thru background and fingerprint for my current role. That also helps you feel comfortable watching your pet. I also know how stressful it can be to leave your pup while on vacation. I will send photos throughout your vacation. I’m comfortable administering medication and caring for animals with special needs.

I have two reactive dogs that I can never introduce to people or other animals, but I still love them to bits. I work nights and cannot make it home until late morning, but Anne has been very accommodating to my dogs' and my scheduling needs. Anne listens and follows my requests on how to take care of my babies and always sends pictures putting my mind at ease when I have to work. Thank you for all your hard work, Anne!

Have been home sick with the flu these past few days and unfortunately my poor sweet Skylar hasn’t had a walk in a couple days. I was desperate to get her a walk ASAP. Valerie was so kind to accommodate us on such short notice. She gave her a good long walk ? and she came back happy and feeling great. I would 100% rebook with Valerie again. Thanks ? so much again!!

We were in last minute need of someone to walk our pups for their dinner walk since we made plans and Tanya responded almost immediately after requesting her services. We also really liked that Tanya took the time for a meet and greet prior to walking our pups. That helps builds some comfort for all parties involved. We will definitely contact Tanya again when we need someone to walk our dogs.

About: I’ve been walking dogs since I was 12 and have experience caring for small and large breeds alike. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I provide patient, attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. I can walk, bathe, and take them out for potty breaks, and I also have hands-on experience caring for a blind dog at home, which has strengthened my compassion and awareness. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! As a college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to give your fur babies the love and attention they deserve! I plan my classes to keep my days open, so I’m available for morning walks, midday potty breaks, evening cuddles, and everything in between. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and with open availability, I’m happy to work around you and your pup’s needs. I provide attentive, loving care whether I’m in your home or mine. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy, following their usual routines for meals, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. I can handle special needs, like caring for puppies, seniors, or pets with vision or mobility challenges. My goal is always to keep pets relaxed, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Since I was younger, I have cared for all kinds of dogs. Friends and family relied on me often and even entrusted me with pets of extra care. I love taking care of animals. I always look after an animal. Even if they are anxious or very energetic. I learned how to maintain patience despite any challenge. When I interact with pets I make sure to give them lots of space so I don't disturb them in any way. I also don't mind caring for them 24/7. I understand some pets need extra comfort. When a pet is in my care I go at their own pace, respect their boundaries, and always aware of any potential dangers. I truly appreciate what pets bring to this world. They deserve the best care and attention. As of right now I don’t have a job and have a free schedule to focus on you and your pet’s needs or anything you ask for. At my house there’s a fenced yard with walls and a dog and cat who can interact with your pet if needed. If your dog is crate trained I also have that available.

About: I absolutely adore animals, (I say I prefer them to people lol) and genuinely enjoy making new furry, feathered or scaly friends. - a little about me: I’ve had 18+ years of experience caring for a variety of animals of all ages including (but not limited to) dogs, cats, fish, chicken, tortoises, and even a bearded dragon! I’m a regular pet and house sitter for family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. I have experience bathing/grooming, dispensing oral medication, walking, and basic pet first aid. I take pride in my ability to quickly adapt to the unique personality and needs of your pet(s). I recently graduated with my bachelor's in psychology at the University of California, Riverside. I'm a small business owner, ex athlete (soccer and swim) and former nanny. My other hobbies include: painting, hiking, gardening, reading and baking. Over the years I've owned dogs, fish and a snake. I currently own a boxer/staffy mix who is my best friend and truly the biggest joy to be around. She’s a sassy little girl with lots of energy. - I accept same day and holiday bookings, overnight stays, and ask that you provide a 3 day notice (when possible) should you need to cancel for any reason. I have a remote job which gives me lots of free time to fill with exercising, playing, caring and bringing excitement and stimulation to your pet(s). Having a fur baby of my own I understand the anxieties of leaving your loved one(s) with someone new. I take the responsibility of caring for your home and pet(s) very seriously and am happy to answer any questions you may have. I don’t provide in home or boarding services at the moment, all services will have to be done from the pet owners home. *This is subject to change and will be updated accordingly*

About: I have 6+ years of animal care experience from animal rescues, to doggy boarding and daycare facilities, to puppy training, and now currently working at an animal hospital while in school for a degree in Animal Science. My love for animals big and small is sometimes more than even I can handle 😂 I hope to be able to care and love your pet just as much as you do! Animal care is apart of my daily life! Not only because I care for the pets that come to the animal hospital I currently work at, but also because I always help any stray dog/cat, hurt critter, or even a worm stuck on the sidewalk (true story🥴) I make it my life mission to help those who cannot help themselves and love those who need it the most. I believe the highest care for all animals is a non-negotiable. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet is well loved, cared for, and enriched! I treat them like I would anyone else, because I believe that they do have thoughts, feeling, wants, and needs and I make it my goal to meet and surpass them!

About: Growing up I always had pets, mostly dogs, cats, bunnies and other little critters like snakes and lizards. I am currently going to school for zoology. Often my mothers freinds would have me watch their pets while they were out of state. It was such a great experience being able to care for all kinds of animals. Working on ranches and such at a younger age and since I no longer have pets it's always pleasant to watch over other fur babies with hopes of soon opening my heart and home yet again to a new addition of my own. I love animals, seeing as I am going to school for animal medicine I it's good practice to be around animals that aren't comfortable with my presence and understand their mannerisms. I currently own a almost 6 year old bunny named choas and she's a hoot. I am no longer allowed to do animal boarding services. I do apologize

About: Greetings loving pet parents! My name is Victoria, I have 2 pups that my hubby and I have been caring for for the last 4 years. He has a background in animal grooming so he's taught me a lot about their hygiene, healthy diets, and how to provide a safe and comfortable environment. We want to roll out the red carpet for your furry babies and give them the royal treatment! Let us be their home away from home. I work during the evenings but there is always someone home. We reside in a gated community with a private dog park and scenic courtyards made for relaxing walks and gentle playtime. Your pups will enjoy lots exploring, belly rubs, tug-o-war games, fetch, treats and so much more. My hours are very flexible, I'm home typically in the mornings and afternoon. I work evenings on weekdays from 5-10 p.m. My husband who is a groomer and assists me will be home to cover. Our routine is pretty simple, every morning we walk to the dog park or around the community. They explore and take their potty breaks. If the neighbors are out we may have a little play date. Then we head back home and I prepare their meals. The pups eat separately one may have the cage and the other on the patio. After that it's usually nap time, everyone finds somewhere to snuggle and snore. Either the couch, the cage or under the bed.

Kaylee is a wonderful house sitter and pet sitter. We were gone for two weeks. We have two large dogs, a cat, and two fish and a large home to care for. Kaylee took care of everyone while we were gone. She sent lots of pictures and videos. She asked great questions. We were able to truly disconnect and enjoy our trip knowing that our home and pets were cared for. You can tell she truly loves the animals. She got to know their personalities and seemed to truly enjoy what she does. Thank you Kaylee for everything! If we ever have to leave again we know who we will call!

Wonderfully meeting Angelina and she's clearly a natural with dogs. My Malamute took an immediate like to her. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
