Kevin takes my senior, disabled dog out for walks when I work super long days. My dog adores him, and he’s even getting stronger now with Kevin walking him! He also behaves better around other dogs, which I attribute to Kevin as well. I cannot recommend Kevin highly enough!!!

About: Consider me a house sitter as well!! I have taken on additional responsibilities such as collecting mail, dusting, sweeping, watering plants, yard, moving vehicles. Your wish is my command. I currently work from home. I work for the County of San Bernardino so I went thru background and fingerprint for my current role. That also helps you feel comfortable watching your pet. I also know how stressful it can be to leave your pup while on vacation. I will send photos throughout your vacation. I’m comfortable administering medication and caring for animals with special needs.

Jessica has been so great for Moose and our family. My grandma is not fond of our dog because of his size and last minute needed someone to take him out while I wasn’t home. Jessica has been so kind and efficient coming and saving the day we love her!

Andrew has been wonderful to connect and work with since day 1. He communicates well, reaches out ahead of time and also takes the initiative with all bookings. Yuna can sometimes be a reactive dog especially around strangers, and Andrew has only been patient throughout the entire process. We’re grateful to have his support!

About: I have lovingly taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes for years. Your pets will be loved and cared for like my own. I am enjoying my second year of retirement from teaching middle school. I have plenty of time to walk and care for your fur babies. While inside, there are multiple plush animal beds for sleeping. However, when outside, animals are always supervised. There are fenced and locked gates on both my front and back yards.

About: Since I was younger, I have cared for all kinds of dogs. Friends and family relied on me often and even entrusted me with pets of extra care. I love taking care of animals. I always look after an animal. Even if they are anxious or very energetic. I learned how to maintain patience despite any challenge. When I interact with pets I make sure to give them lots of space so I don't disturb them in any way. I also don't mind caring for them 24/7. I understand some pets need extra comfort. When a pet is in my care I go at their own pace, respect their boundaries, and always aware of any potential dangers. I truly appreciate what pets bring to this world. They deserve the best care and attention. As of right now I don’t have a job and have a free schedule to focus on you and your pet’s needs or anything you ask for. At my house there’s a fenced yard with walls and a dog and cat who can interact with your pet if needed. If your dog is crate trained I also have that available.

We were in last minute need of someone to walk our pups for their dinner walk since we made plans and Tanya responded almost immediately after requesting her services. We also really liked that Tanya took the time for a meet and greet prior to walking our pups. That helps builds some comfort for all parties involved. We will definitely contact Tanya again when we need someone to walk our dogs.

About: I've lived with dogs and cats all my life. I helped foster many cats with my mom growing up. I've also volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years. I have petsit for my friends and neighbors before. Currently I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. One of my cats has some medical issues so I have experience with giving pill medications. I work part-time in the school system, I am a college student, and I take care of two cats and dogs at home. I'm branching out through apps like this to get more petsitting clients. As of now I'm pretty available until the end of July with some exceptions. Even if I have something planned, I'm happy to work something out. I will follow any and all directions you give me for caring for your lovely animals. I will be happy to go on lots of walks with doggos and play with cats. I do have some slight experience with other animals such as horses, bunnies, and guinea pigs but of course I will follow any instructions for your animals because you know your animals best. I'm okay with giving medications (mostly pills) and am happy to learn any special requirements or medications your animals may need.

About: Growing up I always had pets, mostly dogs, cats, bunnies and other little critters like snakes and lizards. I am currently going to school for zoology. Often my mothers freinds would have me watch their pets while they were out of state. It was such a great experience being able to care for all kinds of animals. Working on ranches and such at a younger age and since I no longer have pets it's always pleasant to watch over other fur babies with hopes of soon opening my heart and home yet again to a new addition of my own. I love animals, seeing as I am going to school for animal medicine I it's good practice to be around animals that aren't comfortable with my presence and understand their mannerisms. I currently own a almost 6 year old bunny named choas and she's a hoot. I am no longer allowed to do animal boarding services. I do apologize

About: Family dogs just had puppies so well equipped to provide the needed care and attention yours will need. I have 2 of the pups with me now to befriend yours :) I work remotely so I have any moment to provide necessary attention. I can take them out hourly and walk them at any possible moment while avoiding the heat of the sun. The dogs are always fed twice a day, taken out about every 2 hours. Amount of walks depends on weather but at least 1 long walk a day.

About: Hello! I have a soft spot for furry friends. Spent all my life around animals and have adopted, super loved and borderline spoiled my own fur babies. I am very flexible and I understand how everyone has their own ways of doing things and will gladly take wonderful care of your pet to your standards. I am always stocked up on treats and toys!! All grain free and only the healthiest snacks and meals. I am very active so I will be giving my full attention and up and about with all my furry guests. Experience in emergency situations. Knowledgeable about signs and symptoms and how to treat them and I have doggy first aid supplies just in case of a bee sting or fox tail stick etc. You can leave your four legged family members with me and have confidence that they will be cared for, safe, happy and having fun! Rates can be negotiable depending on the particulars, every situation and pet is different so just communicate with me about what specific needs and expectations you may have and I’m sure we will work out an arrangement beneficial to all. Look forward to meeting you and your beloveds I have an open schedule and am flexible with days and times. Willing to negotiate rates for long term or ongoing services. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I have a fenced yard, and walk dogs in my care twice a day, more if needed. I am trained and experienced with providing both oral and injected medications to both cats and dogs. I try to keep all on similar schedule to when they are home if possible so as to not disrupt the flow once they return home, however a typical day starts with potty breaks, then breakfast, some light playing followed by walk. Depending on weather relaxing in or outside. After second meal of the day (if they get one) a second walk. Potty breaks few hours later before bed.

Do not let Natalia’s 4 reviews or young face turn you away from giving her an opportunity to care for your dog. After having knee surgery and being unable to walk my dog, I hired Natalia and have not been disappointed. Natalia is extremely professional and caring towards my dog. She constantly buys my dog new toys, treats, and takes amazing pictures of her. She has a real gift when dealing dogs, and has quickly gained my dogs trust. My dog will sit near the window waiting for Natalia’s arrival and departure. Give Natalia a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Riley is the absolute best!! After relocating to the area we were in need of a new sweet and caring walker that could join our family to help us walk with our pup’s daily walks. She has been so sweet and caring and seeing how good she has been with our pup during this big transition period making him feel loved and cared for means the absolute world to my husband and I. I would 1000% recommend her for any of your pets needs 🐶🫶🏻

  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
