About: About Me Hi, I’m Marissa, owner of Shining Light’s K9 Services! Open all year round. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—including those with aggression, reactivity, or other behavioral challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in multiple dog hotels/doggy daycares, in pet grooming, and as a freelance trainer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine care and behavior. I specialize in creating a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for every dog I work with. Whether your pet needs a calm walk, a high-energy run, targeted training, or simply loving companionship, I tailor my approach to their unique needs. Administering medications is never an issue, and I pride myself on excellent communication so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and progress are always my top priorities. With me, your fur baby will be in experienced, loving, and capable hands. Pet care is my full-time job and passion. I run my own business, Shining Light’s K9 Services, from home, so caring for dogs is part of my daily routine from morning to night. I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training sessions, and any special care each pet needs. Because this is my full-time work, I have the flexibility to give your pet consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I offer multiple sleeping options so your dog feels at ease—whether that’s a cozy crate, a comfy dog bed in my living room, or even in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. I maintain a clean, secure environment, with constant supervision and safe spaces for rest or play. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions exactly to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure food, water, and medications are given on schedule, and I always take time for walks, play, and affection. Whether at my home or yours, my goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

About: I've always loved taking care of cats and dogs. They are the most precious beings who deserve the best of love, care and respect. I have three sweet fur babies (2 cats and dog) of my own who will have no trouble befriending yours, may it be a cat or dog. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule for catering to your furbaby' needs. I can accommodate your per's specific routine or schedule to make their stay as comfortable as possible. I have a fenced backyard and a sweet cat and dog who will keep your furbaby company. I keep a clean house for your cat or dog to relax and have plenty of pet toys to offer to keep your furbaby entertained. I have doggy gates to install if the pets need to be separated for if needed. I have extra bowls and beds for your furbaby to choose from. Your furbaby will be treated with so much love and care!

About: I have grown up with dogs for many years and I am now a dog groomer in training. Making dogs happy and comfortable has become my passion in life. I currently work part time at a small dog grooming shop. I can watch your precious pups on Sundays and Mondays all day, and hopefully will have more spots open soon. I do not offer boarding at my house for my own pets and yours safety, but I’d love to care for your pet in the place they are most comfortable in!

About: I have grown up with dogs, and being around them my whole life has taught me to read their body language and understand their needs and wants. I’ll make sure your pup stays happy and healthy! I am available between 6am - 6pm every day of the week for walks or drop-in visits. I am taking online courses so my schedule is very flexible. I make sure your dog has ample opportunity to go to the bathroom, has access to water at all times, and if required, meals are provided.

About: I have a love and passion for pets! A weakness in my heart, I have always taken care of animals having so many in my life. From pet sitting my friends, family members, and even taking care of my own when I got my first ever dog at six years old- my baby BooBoo (a terrier mix). I have a passion for all animals even our little snake and reptile friends. I know it is very anxiety-inducing when leaving a pet to a stranger, but I still have a hard time letting my dog be watched by my friends! So I know it's a process for both the owner and the pet. I am very loving, caring, and patient with pets and see them as more than just the title "pet" but part of the family! I work part-time and am a college freshman, so I am usually free on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Whenever days open up for me I will list them immediately! I carefully overview the loving instructions I get from the pet owner and be sure to carefully follow them through while also being very attentive, caring, patient, and loving with these pets. I never want to put pets through a stressful situation and make sure the owner feels anxiety free when leaving their pet in my care. I will always care for the pet as if it was my own.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 11. I’ve fed, walked, hiked, groomed, and have been the primary caretaker of my dogs. In addition, I have pet sat my friends dogs and cats for the last 7 years. I work full time and go to school part time. I love running and long walks, especially with a furry companion. Pet care is always a part of my life I have a fenced in yard with coyote fence rollers and a nice side yard that is made up mostly of grass so my dogs have plenty of room to run around. I typically do everything with my dogs which include sleeping with them, going on my daily walks with them, and feeding them on a strict schedule.

About: I volunteered at the Riverside County Animal shelter for two years before I became consumed with work. There I learned pet behaviors and how to read their body language. During my time at the shelter, I worked with anxious, high energy, and senior dogs. At home I have a GSD, ACD, and two smaller dogs. I have worked through food aggression during feeding time and anxiety around water while bathing my GSD. I’ve also handled people-reactivity while walking my ACD. I have also mastered administering oral medication in both pill and liquid form. I work part time typically in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon noon. Although I do not have a set work schedule, I will still plenty of time caring for your pets. I have a fenced yard with four other pet friendly dogs. I also have a smaller section to keep your pet(s) separated if needed. If you have a smaller pet, I can also keep them indoors. You can trust me to keep your home clean and secured while I take care of your pets. I will follow any instructions you give me and go above and beyond with your pets. If you have any smaller pets in the home that need caring while I am caring for your pet (such as a snake or lizard), I can care for them too!

About: I’m a dedicated dog mom with hands-on experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I have 2+ years of experience with puppies, including potty training, basic routines, and helping them adjust to new environments. I also have 3+ years of experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication and providing gentle, attentive care. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet like my own. Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I’ve always been a dog mom. I currently have a dog of my own, so daily care, walks, and attention are already part of my lifestyle. I have a consistent schedule and make time each day to ensure pets get the care, exercise, and attention they need. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I make sure all pets are fed on schedule, have constant access to fresh water, and are always supervised in a safe environment. During walks, I stay attentive to surroundings and your pet’s behavior to ensure they feel secure and get the right amount of exercise. I follow any specific instructions closely, including feeding routines, medications, or special care needs. I treat every pet like my own and always aim to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment.

About: I was a volunteer at an animal shelter for about 4 years at the North Central Animal Shelter. I took care of bunnies, cats, kittens, and dogs. And I've fostered kittens and cats. I am an animal lover and have owned a variety of animals throughout my life such as dogs (pitbulls, chihuahuas, dashunds, terriers), cats, bunnies, turtles, fish, guinea pigs). I also am a professional dog walker and also work for wag. I would be honored to get more experience working with animals. Animals are naturally drawn to me because I have patience with pets. In 2020 I helped take care of new born puppies up until they were 5 months old. I like meeting new pets and owners. Personally I strictly follow pet owner's Instructions because they know their own dog better than I do and I would want the same if I gave someone the same responsibilities I am given. I take dogs on walks to get their energy out and to provide enrichment. I love animals and have been working in this field for so long but it never gets old. I love my repeat clients because my bond with their dogs is irreplaceable. I am home almost 24/7 and I love all animals including reptiles (I've pet sat reptiles before when I was not watching cats or dogs). I don't work because I'm a homemaker so my schedule is really flexible. I treat each pet different because I listen to the owners instructions and tips. I like to take them on at least 2 walks a day and sometimes I like to take dogs to the dog park if owner gives me the permission to do so.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since 2020, ranging from chihuahuas to large golden doodles! I love the energetic pups as well as the calm ones, they’re all extremely sweet babies. I’m currently post-grad searching for jobs so my schedule is pretty open! Ideally morning and nighttime routines would be best to create a balanced schedule. I love to make your pets feel comfortable and happy, whether they like to be cuddle or left alone, I do anything in my power to make sure their tails stay wagging.

About: I have had and cared for dogs my entire life, ranging from rescues to purebred puppies, and from small breeds to very large dogs. I especially love big dogs and am very comfortable handling strong, high-energy breeds. Currently, I have two pitbull/boxer mix rescues and a pure Anatolian Shepherd Dog, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and attentive care. I have experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and making dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am dependable, caring, and passionate about giving every dog the attention and love they deserve! As a collegiate athlete home for the summer, pet care fits well into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love combining my own exercise with caring for dogs through walks, runs, and active playtime. Since I already have experience caring for my own dogs, adding pet sitting into my schedule feels very natural, and I enjoy giving dogs the attention, activity, and care they need throughout the day. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are in my home or their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. About: Hi, I’m Afton! I provide one-on-one care by accepting only one family’s pets at a time! I have a very quiet home, perfect for new guests! I have found that hosting one family’s pets at a time leaves me with more time to spoil and help your pets settle in! I love gaining new experience in pet care, I have watched newborn puppies, kittens, and even ducks! I have a senior pug, he has been with me since I started kindergarten! I absolutely adore senior dogs due to my experience with him, they hold a special place in my heart. My background also includes time at the Riverside Animal Shelter, where I trained dogs and made sure they were well-socialized, and ready to be adopted. Along with this, I have also volunteered at the Hidden Valley Nature Center! Mainly taking care of the animals and helping to maintain their habitats. I am a college student, working towards a masters degree! Working for Rover allows me to go to school and also work from home! I always enjoy having a pet by my side, as I like to stay busy throughout the day. I take walks in the mornings and evenings, I would love for your pet to come with me! My neighborhood is very hilly if dogs need to let out energy! Regular bathroom breaks and additional walks are always part of our routine to keep them active and content. My goal is to make sure each dog feels loved, safe, and well cared for. I will provide a lot of enrichment activities to keep them occupied, puzzle toys are always a favorite.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, so I have gained quite a bit of experience taking care of them and picking up after them. I absolutely love animals with all my heart, and have cared for all sorts of them: cats, dogs, turtles, fish, birds, you name it! I am extremely responsible and have the patience and love to fulfill all of your pet’s needs! I feed my dog and cats every day. I pick up after them in the yard every couple weeks. I walk my dog occasionally, but play with him every day. I pet and play with my cats all the time! In my client’s home, I follow all instructions and timelines. I show love and care to each and every animal. I clean up after the animals when needed. Whatever you request, I will do! And more!

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. I worked at a nonprofit animal shelter for 6 months. I currently have an Australian cattle dog, rottie, two orange cats, 3 rabbits and two chinchillas. I’m a college student currently only taking 3 in person classes. I have plenty of time to walk or visit your furry friend. I’m flexible and I love all animals. My services include dog walking and drop ins. For dog walking, depending on the dog I may either walk, jog or run because different dogs need different types of exercise. For drop in, I can do a quick in and out of feeding your pets or I can play with your pet a big, clean up any mess, let them out, etc. I have had pets my whole life including three dogs, two cats, three rabbits, and two chinchillas. I have also worked at a nonprofit animal shelter for a few months. My availability depends on my classes right now as I’m only a college student and I do not have a job. I listen to care to a T as I know how important it is to listen to special needs, since my rabbits are very sensitive to care.
