“This was my first time using Rover for my senior dog. I had a lot of anxiety leaving her home while we were heading out of state for a family trip. My dog was just recently diagnosed with dementia and her episodes were getting worse and more frequent. I did a lot of research and came across Nutan. Their specialty with senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions is what ultimately led me to go with them and let me tell you it was an amazing experience from start to finish. They were willing to take care of Maya and be there for her every step of the way. They remained in touch and sent me pictures very often to check in on her. It definitely eased the burden and anxiety I had with traveling and leaving her. She watched the sunset, had play dates with their dog, and had some yummy treats every day. I can tell Maya already misses them. If I ever go on a long distance trip again I will 100% be using them again.”

I can take them out hourly and walk them at any possible moment while avoiding the heat of the sun. The dogs are always fed twice a day, taken out about every 2 hours. Amount of walks depends on weather but at least 1 long walk a day.

There’s been other dogs that I’ve interacted with and taken care of in midst of doing a favor for a certain relative or other family member. About: About Me Hi, I’m Marissa, owner of Shining Light’s K9 Services! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—including those with aggression, reactivity, or other behavioral challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in multiple dog hotels/doggy daycares, in pet grooming, and as a freelance trainer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine care and behavior. I specialize in creating a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for every dog I work with. Whether your pet needs a calm walk, a high-energy run, targeted training, or simply loving companionship, I tailor my approach to their unique needs. Administering medications is never an issue, and I pride myself on excellent communication so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and progress are always my top priorities. With me, your fur baby will be in experienced, loving, and capable hands. Pet care is my full-time job and passion. I run my own business, Shining Light’s K9 Services, from home, so caring for dogs is part of my daily routine from morning to night. I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training sessions, and any special care each pet needs. Because this is my full-time work, I have the flexibility to give your pet consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I offer multiple sleeping options so your dog feels at ease—whether that’s a cozy crate, a comfy dog bed in my living room, or even in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. I maintain a clean, secure environment, with constant supervision and safe spaces for rest or play. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions exactly to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure food, water, and medications are given on schedule, and I always take time for walks, play, and affection. Whether at my home or yours, my goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
About: Family dogs just had puppies so well equipped to provide the needed care and attention yours will need. I have 2 of the pups with me now to befriend yours :) I work remotely so I have any moment to provide necessary attention. I can take them out hourly and walk them at any possible moment while avoiding the heat of the sun. The dogs are always fed twice a day, taken out about every 2 hours. Amount of walks depends on weather but at least 1 long walk a day.
About: I have two cats. One is named Tiger—she’s an American Shorthair who used to be very aggressive and feisty. I’ve been very patient with her, and now she’s a cute little fur ball who loves sleeping next to me. My second cat, Kupo, is a 2-year-old Ragdoll. She has a great personality but loves to destroy my curtains and blinds. With my experience handling both a feisty cat and a mischievous one, I’m confident I can take good care of your cat as well. I am available in Alhambra area all weekdays noon and after 6pm. Will be available in Ontario area 7pm- 10pm all weekdays and 9am-9pm both weekends. I will feed your cats, clean the litter boxes, get fresh water and send you pictures or videos. If you have any other instructions I will follow.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that, I have an infinite amount of patience with pets, I often come off overly professional as far as training within the skills I have, lastly, why dog, puppy, cat, or kitten doesn’t need more love in their life? I don’t have any schedule restrictions. I have an entirely open schedule so feel free to book whenever you need. Home most of the time. How I care for pets in my clients home is making sure some type of physical activity occurs to ensure excellent physical health, as well as proper meal times (meal preps). Letting the clients pet do at least something that they find joy in (of course, something safe and harmless).
About: I've had dogs all my life. I currently have one dog and two children. I'm available for dog check-ins and walking on the weekends and boarding all week (someone is at home full-time in case a dog has to go out during the workday). Scheduled feedings. Relaxing atmosphere in the quiet neighborhood of Glendora. My house has a large fenced in backyard perfect for dogs who need to run and stay active. If you are considering me, please make sure your dog is comfortable around small children (even though my kids don't really play with our dog, I want to make sure your dog is also comfortable in a different environment). If your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions please let me know so we can accommodate that.

About: I have grown up with dogs for many years and I am now a dog groomer in training. Making dogs happy and comfortable has become my passion in life. I currently work part time at a small dog grooming shop. I can watch your precious pups on Sundays and Mondays all day, and hopefully will have more spots open soon. I do not offer boarding at my house for my own pets and yours safety, but I’d love to care for your pet in the place they are most comfortable in!

They were willing to take care of Maya and be there for her every step of the way. They remained in touch and sent me pictures very often to check in on her. It definitely eased the burden and anxiety I had with traveling and leaving her. She watched the sunset, had play dates with their dog, and had some yummy treats every day. I can tell Maya already misses them. If I ever go on a long distance trip again I will 100% be using them again.”
