“Ariel walked our dog Orson everyday for two weeks when we were on vacation and him with my mom. Ariel was amazing and very kind and patient. Orson was shy in the beginning and she was very patient and kind with him and by the second week he was so excited everytime she came over for the walks. She was also always very punctual and reliable. Will definitely call her again for dog walking next time we are out of town.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since 2020, ranging from chihuahuas to large golden doodles! I love the energetic pups as well as the calm ones, they’re all extremely sweet babies. I’m currently post-grad searching for jobs so my schedule is pretty open! Ideally morning and nighttime routines would be best to create a balanced schedule. About: I have had and cared for dogs my entire life, ranging from rescues to purebred puppies, and from small breeds to very large dogs. I especially love big dogs and am very comfortable handling strong, high-energy breeds. Currently, I have two pitbull/boxer mix rescues and a pure Anatolian Shepherd Dog, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and attentive care. I have experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and making dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am dependable, caring, and passionate about giving every dog the attention and love they deserve! As a collegiate athlete home for the summer, pet care fits well into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love combining my own exercise with caring for dogs through walks, runs, and active playtime. Since I already have experience caring for my own dogs, adding pet sitting into my schedule feels very natural, and I enjoy giving dogs the attention, activity, and care they need throughout the day. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are in my home or their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I especially enjoy keeping dogs active through walks or runs, while also making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every dog has a different personality and energy level, so I focus on creating a calm, dependable environment where they feel comfortable while their owners are away.

From my Cavalier King Charles, to my Pittie, to my gentle giant English Lab. About: I love my own pets like members of the family and would show the same love for yours. I've been through extensive training with my last three dogs, receiving the Canine Good Citizenship-A award for my last beloved boxer. I have 2 dogs at home as well as 6 cats! I have plenty of love to go around! I even let my dog sleep in my bed. My last boxer had Cushing's disease and was completely deaf, and many of my cats over the years have had various illnesses, so I have some pretty extensive experience dealing with animals that have sickness or disabilities. They just need a little extra tender loving care. I currently work part-time at home so I have a very flexible schedule. My job just doesn't give me the satisfaction that taking care of animals does! I want your animals to feel loved and cared for even while you are away. That means following their regular routines per your instructions and giving lots of attention and playtime.

“Very dependable sitter and walker. I have booked Evelyn on two occasions. One to sit my pup over the weekend. And second time to take her out on a walk. Both times she’s followed instructions, and has been able to remain available to as questions and clarify. Will book her again!! Thank you Evelyn!”

“Arielle has been amazing! My dog always takes a while to get used to strangers, and can even present as fearful and bark excessively. He warmed up to her almost immediately! Since my dog is still a puppy, he has a lot to work on. However, Arielle has been very patient and kind, never complaining about how difficult he is and always looking to problem solve and help improve his behavior. I am also very impressed with her level of energy- I am certain that my dog gets more exercise with her than when I take him out. I love seeing the updates and pictures of their walk. I know he is getting the attention and exercise he needs while I am gone. Furthermore, she is very quick to respond to my inquiries. I would highly recommend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Norco
Ross took such amazing care of our senior girl as if she were his own. We were away for an entire week, and he made sure Leah was well cared for every day, walking her, playing with her, feeding her, and giving her plenty of love and attention. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such caring hands. We highly recommend Ross to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter for their furry family members while they’re away!

Madeline was more than great. She was punctual over 4 days, 8 visits. She took pics and videos for me. She made me want to extend my vacation. She also did a couple other things not required. All of this was also on short notice. This was my first time using an app for MY BOYS, and she made me feel very comfortable after the first walk. Highly recommended!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
