“Ross gave Spooky some company and listened to her complaints. Spooky needs someone to be her sounding board and human slave. He cleaned her box, gave her treats, let her see outside (didn't let her go out as she can be stubborn and not come back), and probably tried to play with her (she's not always great at playing). When we arrived home she was by the front door, which is unusual for her, but that shows me she is aware of the time Ross arrived and wasn't hiding. Always a good sign.”

About: When I was 7 years old, our previously-stray cat had kittens in our house, and being the clumsy 7 year old I was, I accidentally stepped on one. The aftermath was several stitches in my face, arms, and hands. I had my eyelid glued back together and the webs of my fingers sewn shut again. Despite this, I have always loved cats. I'm not afraid to be bitten or scratched because they are simply telling me I crossed one of their boundaries. I have plenty of love to go around! I even let my dog sleep in my bed. My last boxer had Cushing's disease and was completely deaf, and many of my cats over the years have had various illnesses, so I have some pretty extensive experience dealing with animals that have sickness or disabilities. They just need a little extra tender loving care. I currently work part-time at home so I have a very flexible schedule. My job just doesn't give me the satisfaction that taking care of animals does! I want your animals to feel loved and cared for even while you are away. That means following their regular routines per your instructions and giving lots of attention and playtime.
