Jessica is great with my hyper rambunctious puppy. She knows how to handle her in a positive way. My puppy is not yet leash trained but Jessica tries to distract her when she begins to pull. I am blessed to have Jessica as her dog walker.

About: I bring over a decade of pet care experience, I worked at a Wag hotels before so have a lot of experience with many different dog breeds, cats! Also can giving medication and care for pets with special needs! I have two fur babies a lively 4 year old maltipoo and a 11 year old bichon, both of whom I've raised since they were young pups. Both are rescues, which has equipped me with the knowledge of how to be gentle and understanding around animals who may have past trauma. Additionally, my experience includes training dogs, as I've successfully trained both of my own furry companions. As an experienced dog walker, I confidently handle dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring each walk is enjoyable and safe. My expertise also extends to cat care and sitting, as I've provided attentive care to feline friends as well. Whether it's walking dogs or sitting for cats, I approach each task with dedication and a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, starting from the moment we wake up until bedtime. We embark on multiple long walks throughout the day, ensuring plenty of exercise and mental stimulation for my furry companions. Our meal times are scheduled with precision, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at consistent times each day. Alongside their meals, my dogs receive their daily allergy medication and adhere to strict diets tailored to their individual stomach needs, a routine I've mastered due to their specific breeds. Additionally, I carve out dedicated time for play sessions lasting at least 30 minutes each day, promoting their overall health and happiness. My ultimate goal is to provide them with the best quality of life possible, ensuring they thrive and enjoy each moment to the fullest. Creating a comfortable and safe environment for pets is second nature to me. I understand the significance of fostering a trusting bond with each furry friend, ensuring they feel secure and loved in their home. Safety is paramount, especially for young puppies, and I take extra precautions to prevent any potential escapes or hazards within the home. Above all, my number one priority is the well-being and happiness of our beloved fur babies, providing them with a nurturing and secure environment where they can thrive and flourish. Additionally I used to work at a Wag hotels so I have a lot of experience caring for all different types of dog breeds and cats!

When you go on vacation, Make a reservation, For your dog's fun filled 'Staycation' Here at *Kelton Cavaliers*" Why I love dog sitting I hated the thought of mine own dogs boarded at kennels and in cages. That is like putting your dog in an animal shelter. It is a very stressful environment for them with other dogs whining, crying, and barking constantly, plus high staff turnover and very little individual attention. At resorts, if you ever spend time watching the webcams, you will see the staff does little to interact with the dogs. Dogs are left to wander lost and confused. Boarded at a vet, your dog will be kenneled in the back and have to listen to other dogs yelping, crying in pain as they are receiving injections or undergoing treatments and procedures. That was unacceptable for my dogs which was why I started boarding in my home. Meet my pets I have a pack of 3 adults. I may be fostering a dog for Cavalier Rescue USA or I have a litter of puppies in the puppy pen. About my yard I have a fully fenced front, side yard, and back patio, which is under 24/7 surveillance along with a secure double gated system. Gates are spring loaded. My experience administering medication: I have experience giving injectables and oral meds. I have boarded insulin dependent diabetic dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, elderly dogs and disabled dogs. My experience ranges from neonatal to geriatric. An additional high maintenance fee is applied. I work from home and I am home most of the time. If I leave, it is only for a few hours at a time. I have a double gate system and fully fenced front, side and back yard. There is 4 DVR security cameras on the property operating 24/7. I work from home and I am home most of the time. About: I’ve taken care of my own cats my entire life, and every summer I sit for many my neighbors dogs while they are out of town. I volunteer at a pet shelter twice a quarter at school by adopting a dog for a day, and volunteer at Priceless Pets in Yorba Linda. I’m currently on summer break from college so my current schedule is pretty free to take care of animals at any given part of the day! I always make sure the doors that need to be closed are closed and locked, and I make sure that places animals are not supposed to go are blocked off.

I am a college student who loves to spend her time with animals, I am not working right now because my parents want me to focus on school, but I would be delighted to take care of a couple animals to help my parents pay for myself I make sure that i’m always on me toes with my dog, as soon as she starts getting up and sniffing around, i take her out to go potty, I make sure that they are not uncomfortable and will even go out of the way to put in some extra cuddle time when my puppy or kitty is stressed out!

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
