“**Highly recommend!** My dog is incredibly anxious and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people. Addisyn was amazing with him. She had the patience and skills to make him feel completely comfortable, and she even got him to play! She is a clear communicator and did an excellent job. I will definitely be booking her again”

“Zaira was amazing! She paid great attention to any details and was super kind and great with our dog! She did everything perfectly, would definitely recommend her to anyone and will absolutely work with her again! Thank you so much Zaira!”

I separate all dogs for meal times to prevent resource guarding. I have toys available for play that are regularly washed. Dogs are allowed on couches and in the downstairs during the day. For dog-walking: I will walk your dog with mine on leashes for your preferred distance or time in the morning or evening. I am experienced with handling leash-reactivity.
“Ross gave Spooky some company and listened to her complaints. Spooky needs someone to be her sounding board and human slave. He cleaned her box, gave her treats, let her see outside (didn't let her go out as she can be stubborn and not come back), and probably tried to play with her (she's not always great at playing). When we arrived home she was by the front door, which is unusual for her, but that shows me she is aware of the time Ross arrived and wasn't hiding. Always a good sign.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own cats my entire life, and every summer I sit for many my neighbors dogs while they are out of town. I volunteer at a pet shelter twice a quarter at school by adopting a dog for a day, and volunteer at Priceless Pets in Yorba Linda. I’m currently on summer break from college so my current schedule is pretty free to take care of animals at any given part of the day! I always make sure the doors that need to be closed are closed and locked, and I make sure that places animals are not supposed to go are blocked off.

About: I treat every pet like my own, with lots of care, attention, and love. I have experience with both cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to big, lovable Rottweilers, including puppies and senior pups who need extra love and care. I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away or busy, and I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pets and give them the care and attention they deserve. I’m typically most available in the mornings and evenings, but I’m always happy to be flexible to fit your needs! I see my pets as family, and I know yours are just as important to you. My goal is to make every pet I care for feel safe, relaxed, and loved, whether that means getting out for a walk or settling in for a cuddly nap.

About: I've helped take care of both family pets and friends' pets since I was 13! I love animals of all sizes and am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone and learn something new for their benefit. I'm willing to take on the challenges of senior pets and new ones as well :) My schedule is currently very flexible, so I'm willing to work with what you have! I also don't mind driving a bit of a distance, as long as I have enough of a heads up :) I will defer to whatever you and your pets prefer- whether that's more kennel time or more time outside! I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats in all ways, whether it's keeping them company on the couch, cleaning up after them, or just keeping a close eye if they're shy and prefer to keep to themselves :)

About: I've been helping care for all kinds of pets since I was 7 years old. I have many family and friends who rely on me to take care of their animals while they're away, and I've never shied away from the task. Whether it be a great dane or sphynx, I've always been able to connect with animals. I'm a college student taking the time to focus on my education, so I'll have plenty of free time to hang out with and take care of your pet! I do most of my work online, so your baby won't ever be lonely and can have my full attention!! I have plenty of free time to spend with your pet, and can take them out for walks as needed. Play is a given, and I'll always ensure that your animal is fed, comfortable, and well taken care of.

About: I have been a dog walker for a couple of years through offline connections, but I am trying to expand my options. I do this to help pay for my schooling. I have handled Pomeranians to Pitbulls. I am currently working part time, and I do go to university two days out of the week. Pet sitting and dog walking are one of the ways I keep myself from drowning in deadlines, and connected to the world around me. I have a cat that is the most spoiled princess I have ever met, and I would not have it any other way. I keep a pretty set schedule so my cat and I can know what to expect. This also makes it easier to spot when something is amiss. Whenever she deviates from the schedule, she is not feeling good at all.
“Annaka showed up as booked promptly as able and gave great loving care to our kitty. Our kitty bonded with her from almost the first visit even laid on her lap with belly up. That showed complete trust. Annaka provided safe loving care to our kitty. We were very happy with her services and loved the photos and updates from each visit. We will use Annaka again.”

“Kimberly was great! She took care of our two cats while we went on vacation. Sent us photo updates each day and left our home as clean as it was when we left. Thank you for taking care of our cats!”

“We so appreciate the drop-in visit for Charlie! He was extra energetic today hehe. Thank you for taking the time to learn his new routine before our trip - I feel more comfy to leave knowing he’ll be in good hands. He’ll be comfy too! See you again soon! 👍🏻🤗🐶”

About: I grew up having dogs as pets my whole life. I’ve taken care of different kinds of dogs, so I understand their needs and how to keep them safe and happy. I’ve raised my own dogs from when they were puppies until they were about 14 years old as a senior. I’m a full-time student at the University of Oregon, but I don’t have another job, so I have a lot of time to take care of your pets! I’m available most days after a few classes and fully available on weekends for house sitting or frequent check-ins on your pups! I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for with me at all times. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions! I always keep a clean, calm environment and give lots of attention, playtime, and affection. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll keep you updated with messages or photos while you’re away!
About: DAYCARE & BOARDING takes place in our home in downtown Corona. All dogs must be non aggressive and on some sort of flea and tick treatment. I am a certified dog trainer. I work with dogs full time and I love what I do! DOG TRAINING and DROP INS takes place in YOUR home, where your dog will be most comfortable and least distracted. In regards to drop ins, I don't charge extra for multiple pets. DOG WALKING is very beneficial for your dogs health. As a dog trainer, I also help dogs learn how to walk nicely (loose leash walking, no pulling and practicing the "leave it" command). Working with dogs is my full time job. I am usually available everyday for pet care, including holidays. I can usually take last minute bookings as well. I do small volume booking so I can give each dog lots of attention. They are never unsupervised or left outside by themselves. If I do have to leave my house, my wife takes over till I get home.
About: I love all animals. I consider my pets as part of my family and try to give them the best life possible for the love that they give. I work out in the field for the first part of the day & remotely from home for the second half. Taking the dogs out for social time at the dogpark or a walk is my daily routine. I have a fenced yard with a doggy door so they may come in and out. I also have very friendly Retriever and Labrador mix babies to keep yours company. Can crate yours if you prefer.
About: I am an attentive and energetic animal lover with experience taking care of puppies as well as older dogs and cats. My experience began by growing up with a husky from when he was a puppy until he was 11 years old. Additionally, I was a foster parent for an American pit bull puppy for months and participated in potty training, walking and running with the puppy. I am now the happy cat mom of the sweet Russian Blue mix you see in my photos. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds and I will not only petsit, but also take them out, play with them and make sure that they are well entertained. I also take direction very well. I look forward to taking care of your furry friend! My schedule is currently more free and I am open to last minute bookings - just reach out and ask and I will try to accommodate! I care for pets by making sure they don’t eat anything that isn’t meant for them, making sure they receive attention and affection and giving frequent updates to the animal owner.

I could write for paragraphs and not finish singing Annaka’s praises. She was highly dedicated to caring for my two cats. She was patient, understanding, receptive, and highly communicative. One of my cats is incredibly shy and by the end of her two weeks with my cats, she even got her to come out and play! One cat (luckily, the more friendly one) needed daily medication administered while I was gone. Annaka was able to medicate him consistently and would leave notes on how he was reacting to it in addition to the pictures. Both cats upon my return were happy, alert, and had healthy shiny coats. Annaka went above and beyond to make sure they were ok while I was gone. I would definitely hire Annaka again to care for my cats.

Kimberly was a pleasure to work with! She pet sat our bunny and cat for 3 weeks in our home and was excellent with providing them with what they need. Our pets were so excited to interact with Kimberly! She was very kind to them. She was very flexible in responding to what we requested. We highly recommend Kimberly as a pet sitter.

Trinity was absolutely wonderful! She took fantastic care of both my dog and my guinea pigs. She arrived right on time, communicated beautifully throughout the entire stay, and sent plenty of photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. On top of the excellent pet care, she even went above and beyond by helping out with a few things around the house. I highly recommend Trinity and will definitely be booking her again!

The couple is amazing! We had a wonderful experience with them. They dropped in and took great care of our golden retriever while we were out of town. We really appreciated the consistent updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was happy and well cared for. Communication was smooth and easy throughout the entire time. We came home to a very happy pup! Highly recommend, and thank you so much!

Alexa is the perfect doggy sitter! I was very apprehensive about leaving our 15-year old dog, Bailey, at home for the weekend. Alexa was always always punctual with her drop-in visits, made sure Bailey went out to go potty, and kept her regular feeding routine. She communicated with us regularly with pictures and reports, and we know Bailey got lots of love from Alexa while we were away. I would refer Alexa in a heartbeat and plan to reach out to her to look after Bailey again in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
