About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 12. I grew up with cats and love their personalities. I have one kitty now, his name is Ricky. I first provided dog/house-sitting services for my professor in college for about 5 days where I fed, played and walked her lovely Border Collie. I began to cat sitting/drop ins for my brother and sister-in-law two years ago while they were away on vacation in the summer and have been doing it since. I am happy to care for both cats and doggos alike. I work a full time job, but can provide drop in services in the evenings for your pets while you’re away or make arrangements to cat/dog sit in your home. I am also available weekends! My availability will reflect on the calendar. I abide by your house rules and preferences when house sitting your pet in your home. If your pet gets anxious with new people around, I think it’s always best to have me meet them with you before you leave. I am happy to provide daily updates and send you photos. If there is any doubt about your pets needs, I’ll be sure to communicate those with you directly.

My daily routine is very flexible. I'm available every morning and evening for walks, and I build my whole schedule around your dog's needs. Whether it's a quick potty break or a longer adventure, I'll make sure your pup gets the exercise and attention they need. I always care for pets in the client's home. I follow any special instructions you give me, keep your house clean, and make sure all doors and gates are securely closed before I leave. Your pet's safety and your home are my top priority.

She communicated with me for each visit. I had her come 2 times a day for 4 days. My Kitty is my baby, I felt so comfortable knowing that Zap would be checking on her. About: I have taken care of pets for neighbors and friends for years. I am experienced in giving animals medicine and love to take care of animals in need. I have volunteered at a wildlife rescue for years and have taken care of possums, squirrels, cats and all kinds of birds. I have experience with young cats and senior dogs and I am not afraid to get messy because that’s what animals do. I cannot walk dogs very well due to having hip problems but I can assure you your furry friend will be taken care of as if they are my own. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for my pets. I wake up around 6:30am every morning to let my chickens out of the coop so they can free roam through my backyard. I feed my starling, cockatiel and pigeon each separate diets. My cats eat dry food in the morning and wet food at night. My chickens go back in the coop at 6pm and I collect all the eggs they laid that day. The chickens get treats like blueberries and feeder fish throughout the day. I do not clip my birds wings so they are free to fly around the house and my cats are friendly to them. My yard is fenced off for my chickens to free roam during the day and I have 2 friendly cats that live in my backyard that catch rats and mice but are friendly to birds.

“Quetzaly is a gem! From the very first meet-and-greet it was clear she loves cats and would treat my 6mo kitten Moss like her own. She was skilled in handling all the troublemaking that Moss could throw at her and communicated everything to me; e.g. when Moss pulled a painting off the wall and into her water dish, Quetzaly rescued the painting for me and on short notice refreshed the water dish just so there wouldn't be any traces of paint in the water, which I really appreciated. I also loved all the photos and the little notes she left during the visit (and my family enjoyed the updates too!). She even left a note for me afterwards letting me know about some local events going on since I'd mentioned I'm new to the area. All in all a great catsitting experience :)”
