I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—including those with aggression, reactivity, or other behavioral challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in multiple dog hotels/doggy daycares, in pet grooming, and as a freelance trainer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine care and behavior. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and progress are always my top priorities. With me, your fur baby will be in experienced, loving, and capable hands. Pet care is my full-time job and passion. I run my own business, Shining Light’s K9 Services, from home, so caring for dogs is part of my daily routine from morning to night. I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training sessions, and any special care each pet needs. Because this is my full-time work, I have the flexibility to give your pet consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I offer multiple sleeping options so your dog feels at ease—whether that’s a cozy crate, a comfy dog bed in my living room, or even in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. I maintain a clean, secure environment, with constant supervision and safe spaces for rest or play. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions exactly to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure food, water, and medications are given on schedule, and I always take time for walks, play, and affection. Whether at my home or yours, my goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have been caring for pets of all kind since I was very young. As an aspiring animal right attorney, I would be thrilled to care for your pet. I currently manage a pet store in downtown. I currently am going to school and working part time. I am available full time from Sunday to Tuesday! I am always willing to move my schedule around to accommodate you and your fur baby! I don’t currently offer care for pets at my home, as I have a very grumpy cat! I am available to house sit/ walk your pets in an environment they are already accustomed to!

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 12. I grew up with cats and love their personalities. I have one kitty now, his name is Ricky. I first provided dog/house-sitting services for my professor in college for about 5 days where I fed, played and walked her lovely Border Collie. I began to cat sitting/drop ins for my brother and sister-in-law two years ago while they were away on vacation in the summer and have been doing it since. I am happy to care for both cats and doggos alike. I work a full time job, but can provide drop in services in the evenings for your pets while you’re away or make arrangements to cat/dog sit in your home. I am also available weekends! My availability will reflect on the calendar. I abide by your house rules and preferences when house sitting your pet in your home. If your pet gets anxious with new people around, I think it’s always best to have me meet them with you before you leave. I am happy to provide daily updates and send you photos. If there is any doubt about your pets needs, I’ll be sure to communicate those with you directly.

About: I have taken care of pets for neighbors and friends for years. I am experienced in giving animals medicine and love to take care of animals in need. I have volunteered at a wildlife rescue for years and have taken care of possums, squirrels, cats and all kinds of birds. I have experience with young cats and senior dogs and I am not afraid to get messy because that’s what animals do. I cannot walk dogs very well due to having hip problems but I can assure you your furry friend will be taken care of as if they are my own. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for my pets. I wake up around 6:30am every morning to let my chickens out of the coop so they can free roam through my backyard. I feed my starling, cockatiel and pigeon each separate diets. My cats eat dry food in the morning and wet food at night. My chickens go back in the coop at 6pm and I collect all the eggs they laid that day. The chickens get treats like blueberries and feeder fish throughout the day. I do not clip my birds wings so they are free to fly around the house and my cats are friendly to them. My yard is fenced off for my chickens to free roam during the day and I have 2 friendly cats that live in my backyard that catch rats and mice but are friendly to birds.
