About: About Me Hi, I’m Marissa, owner of Shining Light’s K9 Services! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—including those with aggression, reactivity, or other behavioral challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in multiple dog hotels/doggy daycares, in pet grooming, and as a freelance trainer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine care and behavior. I specialize in creating a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for every dog I work with. Whether your pet needs a calm walk, a high-energy run, targeted training, or simply loving companionship, I tailor my approach to their unique needs. Administering medications is never an issue, and I pride myself on excellent communication so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and progress are always my top priorities. With me, your fur baby will be in experienced, loving, and capable hands. Pet care is my full-time job and passion. I run my own business, Shining Light’s K9 Services, from home, so caring for dogs is part of my daily routine from morning to night. I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training sessions, and any special care each pet needs. Because this is my full-time work, I have the flexibility to give your pet consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I offer multiple sleeping options so your dog feels at ease—whether that’s a cozy crate, a comfy dog bed in my living room, or even in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. I maintain a clean, secure environment, with constant supervision and safe spaces for rest or play. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions exactly to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I make sure food, water, and medications are given on schedule, and I always take time for walks, play, and affection. Whether at my home or yours, my goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

About: Hi! My name is Sherleen and I love dogs and have always grown up with them. I had a childhood chihuahua that I took care of for over 15 years. I now have a malte poo and a pug that I’ve been raising for over 11 years since before they could be weaned from their mom. You can imagine the nights waking up to feed them like human babies! I’ve picked up doggie accidents that seemed like natural disasters and have groomed and bathed my dogs since having them. I’ve cared for dogs from shelters who have trust issues around humans, dogs with behavioral issues and health issues. This includes giving them routine medication around the clock, dedicating time to gaining trust, or as simple as them needing help cleaning themselves after using the restroom. I own 2 Brachycephalic dogs so I also understand the attention those breeds require. Personally, my pug is allergic to fleas and ticks so my house and yard are flea and tick free for her safety! I am a college student who’s doing classes in person on the mornings and can 100% dedicate attention and care. Please message me if you need me during a day I don’t have “available”!!! I’m also really available during holidays! I can do special requests and update my calendar for you (M,Th, 11:30 pm- 6pm) (T, 1:30 and ongoing) (W, 12:30 - 6pm) Just message me and I’ll work something out for your situation! Pets are our babies and deserve nothing less! I currently work with students as an orchestra tutor and a coach working with students ranging of ages. I work around schedules for students and I can do the same for people needing pet sitting! I As a school district worker I am required to do background checks and fingerprints to be a teacher, I understand having a stranger take care of your dog can be stressful but with this knowledge I hope I can ease some of your minds. As a dog owner it’s only essential to give your dog attention, interaction and above all, patience. Dogs like playing, walking or just chilling with their owners and those things vary between dogs! Some have way more energy than other dogs and it’s important to know what they need especially since they can’t talk for themselves. In my household I have a yard that my dogs stay outside for the majority of the day. When bringing in new dogs, I will keep your dog/s indoors and take care of their needs at all times with me so in the case they’re not used to other pups I have a barrier.

About: I’ve taken care of dog around me for about my whole life. Different types of dogs as well always been surrounded by them growing up no a thing or two about them. And love watching them and playing with them. I’m currently not working right now so I’m available at all time times throughout the week. So My schedule is pretty flexible and durable right now. I have a fenced yard. I do have a guinea pig, but she is caged up and no other pets. Will do daily check ups check in with the owner.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that, I have an infinite amount of patience with pets, I often come off overly professional as far as training within the skills I have, lastly, why dog, puppy, cat, or kitten doesn’t need more love in their life? I don’t have any schedule restrictions. I have an entirely open schedule so feel free to book whenever you need. Home most of the time. How I care for pets in my clients home is making sure some type of physical activity occurs to ensure excellent physical health, as well as proper meal times (meal preps). Letting the clients pet do at least something that they find joy in (of course, something safe and harmless).

About: I have worked with dogs of all ages from newborn to elderly. I have 15+ years of experience working specifically with Dachshunds, terriers of various breeds, and chihuahuas. I also have lots of experience working with many other breeds as well. Some examples include Germans Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Great Piramese, Havanese, Pomeranian, Lasa Aspa, and Husky. I work part time as a courier for UberEats. So, I am able to make my own schedule whatever it needs to look like for me to give 110% of my time to the pets that I'll be sitting. I'm available all-day Monday-Sunday 24/7. :) I will only be sitting pets at the clients home. I will take instruction on caring for the pet(s) very close to heart and follow all direction as best as I can. For me, I am not just looking after a dog or cat. I am looking after a family member.

About: I’ve taken care of family’s pets for almost 3 years! I’m currently also a vet tech student and I have worked in vet clinics and volunteered at the animal shelter so have tons of experience with animals and pet care! I have a very flexible work schedule that also allows me to be available on weekends so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with pets! I will ensure feeding, play time, and lots of love when caring for pets. I will care for them based on their routine and how they feel most comfortable!

I'm home throughout the day and genuinely enjoy having a dog by my side to care for—it gives my days a sense of purpose. I believe dogs are a lot like children: they need time, attention, and affection. I've cared for my own dog as well as those of friends and family, and I'd love to give yours the same devoted attention. Im currently working part time and go to school on select days. I’m also available weekends. Communicate with my and we can make special arrangements when necessary. My dogs are indoor dogs and honestly pretty spoiled—the heater or AC is on whenever it's needed to keep them comfortable. I don't mind them being up on the couch or sitting right next to me. Our yard is fully fenced all the way around, and I make sure they get frequent potty breaks throughout the day. If I'm doing a house visit at your home, I do the same: I follow your pup's routine and make sure they're safe, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time.

I'm off at 2pm, from there on i spend my time training furry friends . I have a fenced house! 2 pets that will accompany your pet. I am currently working full time as a dog-walker/ sitter so I am very flexible. We can discuss what time and day you need me and I will plan ahead. I typically dog sit or dog walk at my clients' homes, and I make sure to follow their rules and guidelines when it comes to taking care of their pets.

About: As a registered veterinary technician (nurse) I have the background and education to give you the peace of mind that your fur babies are well cared for. I have experience caring for all animals from pocket pets to livestock and everything in between! I am also fear free certified so I know the signs of stress and how to help your pets feel the most comfortable. I just graduated from college so I am completely available for all your pets needs. If you need a one time visit or a regular schedule I am here. I will bring all my expertise into their own home, keeping their routine consistent. I love to play, cuddle, or sit on opposite sides of the house whatever they prefer.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have been around German shepards, pitbulls, and all of the more "intimidating" breeds. So you can trust that I will get the job done and make sure your pet has an awesome time while doing it. I have bathed and walked more dogs than I can count and have owned several dogs in the past. My schedule is completely clear ever since I finished up my summer community college classes. Whatever your pet needs whenever they need it they will get. Please note that my yard is not fenced. Whenever I take your pet outside it will be on a leash or harness. My home is spacious and has 3 cat friends. When I am in your home I will follow all guidelines set as I have a lot of experience with house sitting as well.

About: I’ve taken care of other people’s pets, mostly dogs and cats, since I was young. Family and friends would go on long trips or short weekend vacations and I would feed, play, and walk their fur babies. I also had a dog of my own, a pembrook welsh corgi, and took care of him for many years. I work a full-time job but it is partly a remote position so I would be able to spend whole weekdays on most Wednesday’s and Fridays if needed. I’m also available for weekends. I understand taking care of another person’s pet is a very important responsibility and I will send photos and cute videos to ensure you stay updated on your pet’s care.
