“Breana has taken such good care of my boy this last week I can’t thank her enough! She followed every instruction and sent so many photos I know he had so much fun with her.”

About: I’ve owned 6 dogs over the past 9 years, one as small as 5 pounds and two retriever mixes at over 90 pounds. I’ve worked with and trained dogs of all sizes, and am comfortable with all breeds, from fear reactive to lap dog! I currently have a standard poodle, and comfortable with most grooming and cleaning needs. I’m a pre-med student with a passion for medicine, both for humans and our pets alike. I’m in my last year of university, and already accommodate my schedule for my pets. I’m available between all hours, day or night, every day! My own dog gets four walks a day, and depending on energy and physical needs, I can accommodate exercise and mental stimulation and play time that’ll work for your pet. I’m very schedule based, so pets are comfortable and cared for with a routine that’ll help them adjust easily and develop trust. I believe in respecting boundaries and giving space so pets can adjust on their own time.
“Thank you Lamar. Doobie has been bored since everything that has happened lately and really needed some good exercise. She came back happy and a tired. Thank you for taking such good care of her again!”

About: I have volunteer experience at an animal shelter, providing walks, and cat and dog enrichment. I have been around dogs and cats all my life, and have two cats of my own. I am currently a college student, and I think taking up pet care would be a great way to use the spare time that I have. Whether your pet is an inside or outside pet, I will provide the best care I can varying to the pet owners home, or yard.
“Elionora has walked my pooch for the past month and plan to renew with her for more time. My pooch gets excited when she arrives. She is very dependable and responsive. ”

“Boots liked Sara very much, normally boots barks when seeing someone outside the household instead she just sniffed her and left with her without an issue. Another plus she is punctual. Sara will be walking boots on a recurring schedule..”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
