“Britney is just phenomenal! I requested her extremely last minute and she still agreed to run with Akira! So far she seems pooped and I love it lol. Thank you for socializing her and giving me feed back. Britney made sure to briefly get to know Akira before agreeing to the walk as well. For sure will be scheduling again very soon!!”

About: Hi there! I'm excited to tell you about my experience caring for pets, especially dogs. With two wonderful pups of my own, aged 2 and 5, I've learned firsthand the joy and responsibility that comes with being a pet parent. From daily walks to cozy snuggles, I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to furry companions. What sets me apart as a sitter is my dedication to meeting the unique needs of each dog in my care. I love helping young pups learn basic commands and develop good manners in a positive and encouraging environment. As someone who has raised puppies, I know the importance of early training. Additionally, with my older dog by my side, I've gained valuable experience in caring for senior pets. Whether it's gentle exercise, administering medication, or providing extra comfort, I'm committed to ensuring that older dogs receive the attention and care they deserve. As a pet lover and responsible caregiver, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every furry friend I encounter. When your pets are with me, they'll be treated like part of the family, receiving plenty of love, attention, and care. Currently not employed, my schedule offers ample time for devoted pet care. Each day is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and happiness of the furry companions I welcome into my home. Mornings kick off with energizing walks, providing exercise and a chance for fresh air. Throughout the day, play sessions and interactive activities keep tails wagging. I prioritize regular feeding schedules, tailored to the dietary needs of each pet. Whether it's a visit to the local dog park or a cozy evening cuddle, I cherish every moment spent with my canine friends. This period of flexibility allows me to provide the attention, care, and companionship that dogs thrive on, creating a harmonious and joyful environment. In both my home and my clients' spaces, the cornerstone of my pet care approach is safety, trust, and a comfortable environment. Living in an apartment, I ensure that the dogs under my care have the freedom to move about freely, fostering a sense of comfort and relaxation. Regular walks to nearby parks provide not only essential exercise but also a change of scenery and the opportunity for social interactions with other canine friends. Creating a safe haven is paramount; I meticulously puppy-proof and dog-proof my living space to eliminate potential hazards. Beyond physical safety, I prioritize building a trusting relationship with each pet through positive interactions, ensuring they feel at home and secure in their temporary abode.

About: I’ve cared for my two dogs since the day they were born, now 13 and 11 years old. Over a decade of experience, including senior care, ensuring daily walks, bathroom maintenance, and making sure they get plenty of outside time. Beyond my own I regularly help my cousin’s and neighbor’s with their dogs as well. Ranging from senior dogs to a 6 and 8 year old, handling everything from walks to feeding and fresh water. I have a love for animals and caring for dogs at every stage of life. I currently have a flexible schedule allowing me to be available anytime of the day any day of the week. Reliability is something I take seriously Every dog is different, so I adjust my approach based on what works best for them. If an owner has a set routine they’d like me to follow, I’ll stick to it closely. If a dog needs more time to open up to someone new, I am extremely patient and will let them set the pace while making sure everything is taken care of throughout the visit.
“My 2 pups are always excited to go walks with Elena. She is so loving and kind to my dogs. She’s dependable and I’m just so grateful to have her since I work long hours and they need these walks”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. I can help your puppy be the best version of themselves; I can take great care of your senior dog too. I’m a pro At popping pills in their mouth or giving supplements to any kind of oral medication. I’m currently a stay at home dog auntie so if you need me I’ll be there. Me and Louise go for coffee and other short walks throughout the day, so it will be nice to have someone to take along for the ride or for Louise to play with. I have a fenced yard and two extra crates under our covered patio so there’s that. I can also run your fur child for a coffee/potty break if that’s what they need. Whatever they or you need I’m there. Currently I’m not working so I provide a constant care environment for your pets. It is always a pleasure for us (Louise and I) to have a new pup over. I have a fully fenced backyard and I love to have your pups over. I hang out under the covered patio all day with them. That’s what my house is like. Especially because we have an unfenced pool and it’s only happened once but it did happen; one pup fell in and had to be rescued, I jumped in and got him out. No big deal.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
