About: Dogs have been a particularly big part of my life. I grew up with a Chihuahua who had multiple litters, and I helped care for approximately four litters of puppies, including feeding, monitoring, and caring for them as they grew. I’ve also puppy sat a German Shepherd, Pit Bull mix, and Doberman puppy, which gave me experience handling young, energetic dogs that require confidence, patience, and plenty of attention. I’ve also had the experience of caring for a dog through her senior years. I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets while they’ve been away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Most recently, I cared for my roommate’s two senior cats, teaching me the importance of being patient, attentive, and consistent with older pets and their individual needs. I also became comfortable helping one of the cats with her asthma inhaler and other medical care. During the summer (June 15–August 15), I also have Fridays off and am available throughout the day.
