The long hours kept me away from my pets and grandparents and I wasn't comfortable leaving them at home so much. I wanted a source of income that would give me flexibility, that let me work from home from time to time. Although I have been professionally working with pets since I was 20 years old, I took 2023 to change things up and have been doing pet care full time. I have enjoyed meeting new families on and off Rover and love being able to take care of their pets! I've always been interested in animals of all kinds and have always had a passion for Pet Care. As a child, I learned how to tend to horses, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, fish, dogs, cats & more. I love meeting the different breeds and enjoy learning about them! I have been a reliable, dependable, and responsible house sitter for over 10 years now. People from my neighborhood would hire me to watch over their houses and pets while they went away for a trip. When I house sit, I make sure to bring in your mail & packages daily, take out trash, bring in bins, water your plants or gardens as requested, feed and give clean water to your pets, entertain them with play time and walks, and clean your home so it looks fantastic when you come home so you can relax when you first get in! I treat my clients like family and love to make them feel appreciated & thought of. I've been known to give dogs a simple bath & dry if they get dirty, without being asked! I love my clients and their pets. Doggie Day Care is a good purchase for your dog because they get socialization with my dogs, can see and smell my cats & get used to them, and meet people of different ages at my home! We have lots of toys, treat puzzles, games, and a large grassy area to play in. I live a block away from Beryl Park, and I enjoy taking my dogs and our guests there. When we go on our walks, we work on leash training and commands. I use treats and praise. I also work on training in the house and around my family so your dog will take home good manners. I love check in visits, and daily walks as well! I make sure to give them a good dose of love and attention and make sure they have everything they need before I go. I like to offer extended walks, dog park trips and Hiking Adventures. My History I have been working professionally with animals since 2013. I worked at Petco and took care of all the small animals, fish, reptiles, and birds we had in store, and accumulated a variety of animal knowledge from working there. I formed strong knowledge on the products and services sold there, and was able to make recommendations. In 2016, I started working for “Sky’s The Limit Pet Service”, a small private company. I gained experience in handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I learned how to administer medications orally and intravenously. I have learned how to keep animals as safe and comfortable as possible. Your Animal's Safety is #1 and I will use my knowledge to protect them whenever we are together! 2015, I made my rover website and have met so many wonderful people on here!
