My love for animals big and small is sometimes more than even I can handle 😂 I hope to be able to care and love your pet just as much as you do! Animal care is apart of my daily life! Not only because I care for the pets that come to the animal hospital I currently work at, but also because I always help any stray dog/cat, hurt critter, or even a worm stuck on the sidewalk (true story🥴) I make it my life mission to help those who cannot help themselves and love those who need it the most. I believe the highest care for all animals is a non-negotiable. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet is well loved, cared for, and enriched! I treat them like I would anyone else, because I believe that they do have thoughts, feeling, wants, and needs and I make it my goal to meet and surpass them!

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 9 from neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with pet sitting reptiles, dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies and even horses. I own a bearded dragon and two small dogs, both potty trained with a doggy door available for them to come inside and out. I volunteered for a few years at my local animal shelter with the newborn kittens , walking dogs, and sometimes helping with their pigs and goats. Both of my dogs are friendly with others. I'm currently working part time so I am mostly available all week other than mornings on Friday (10am-1pm) and Saturday (9am-12pm). If it's alright for me to be able to leave to go to work I can pet sit all week long. My own dogs get fed early in the morning then again right around dinner time. Let me know your dogs feeding schedule and I will make sure to implement it. My dogs are also regularly walked so I can easily bring yours along or walk them separately depending on what works best. I have two small dogs, both uncrated and well behaved/friendly. I have a doggy door available for your dogs, so if they are used to coming inside and out, they are able to use it. I do want to put on here that I have a full concrete backyard with walls on all sides and a pool. So definitely make sure your pup is okay with being near a pool. And if not, I can also put up gates to block the pool, just message and let me know. Dogs are blocked off and trained to stay out of the living room because we have carpet but they have access to the rest of the house, not allowed on any furniture other than the couches we have outside and their own doggy beds.
“Xu is truly remarkable! She took exceptional care of my 6 kitties! They are all super shy and some are skittish, but they all came out to see Xu!! This is unprecedented! She was super prompt, extremely detailed in her care, and so kind and sweet both to me and my kitties. She’s a real gem!”

“Jessica is amazing - she not only make sure basic tasks get done (change litter box, fill water fountain etc), she also treat my kitties like her own. Highly recommend!”

I maintain a respectful distance until rapport has been established. I take lots of pictures!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rancho Cucamonga
Lydia took such wonderful care of Stan! She was very attentive, sent me lots of pictures and updates, and spent time playing with him so he wouldn’t be lonely while I was away. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. She even left me the sweetest little thank-you gift, which was such a thoughtful surprise. I would absolutely book with Lydia again! 🐾🤍

I was hesitant about using Rover, but the reviews really make a difference. Ally first stopped by for an introduction and my pup just loved her. She shared about her pets and she has experience with a pet with health issues. She has great availability, can do pet sitting, she’s warm, super friendly and very accommodating. Our first day went very well and feel lucky I have found the right person for my pup.

Tanta ia the absolute best. For the first time our family was able to take a trip together because of Tanya's care of our animals. Since we have had our dog, we’ve never been able to travel together. She came prior to our trip to meet our dog and us. She kept her commitment and came to not only feed our pets but to play love and snuggle them. We are ever so grateful for you!

Sumei was a great sitter. She responded quickly when we needed a sitter with short notice. She made her visit timely, and provided the services we requested. Zorio enjoyed her visits as she played catch with him. Overall we were very pleased with Sumei and would rebook with her in the future.

Roger and Amy were very professional and accommodating to my pup’s needs. They were on time and made sure she got everything she needed for her meal and walks. I will definitely request them again in the future knowing I can trust them with my baby. 🤍 Thank you both so much!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
