We will treat your fur babies like family in our loving home. I work from home and will be able to take care of their needs. I have 2 medium dogs that are friendly and love to play, lounge, and keep your dog company. I am home most of the time and will be with your pet. I have a fenced backyard enough room for walking, playing and running. Indoor, I will be with them most of the time.
“Tanya did a great job with my animals. I had her watch two large dogs, one of whom is very moody and picky about whom she likes, and two rambunctious kittens. She did a great job of staying in contact with me and taking care of everyone, including two older outdoor cats who wander in from time to time. I'll definitely hire her again!”

“Bonnie gave my cats wonderful care while we were out of town, arriving promptly for each visit and following all directions. I've had a couple issues in the past with the house not being locked up properly with other sitters, but she did everything as requested and sent so many nice photos and excellent notes. Excited to book with her again!”

“Ally made my time away from my pup much less stressful by being attentive to detail, keeping me updated and giving my dog the care he needed and then some! Would love to have her back and would highly recommend her to anyone else.”

“Rosalinda was friendly with my dogs and myself. She came over beforehand to meet them, which was so nice. She took great care of my dogs, sent lots of photo updates and was communicative during her stay.”

“Laura really saved me when my other Rover sitter was non responsive - going out of her way to pick up and drop off my dog for me on very short notice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“She was great! Great communication great care provided to my dogs and cats! She was so nice when we met and remained polite the entire time! I def recommend and if she's available next time, she'll be the first I look for to care after my pets!”

“Valerie is absolutely wonderful! My dog hasn’t been alone for years and I foolishly believed he could be alone for most of the day for two weeks! What a mistake that was! My husband tried to come home a couple of times during his work day, but Paulie was still suffering from extreme anxiety and making messes in his enclosed space and destroying things; something completely out of character for him! After a few days my husband called and asked me to please find someone to come and take care of the dog! I did a google search and saw Rover! I decided to give it a try! I didn’t know Valerie and strictly picked her because she was in our general vicinity. Let me tell you, this was divine providence! Valerie was just the person we needed at just the right moment! She came the same day I contacted her and immediately began her daily visits with Paulie! She was attentive and helpful and spoiled my dog with love and attention! It was just what we needed! His accidents almost completely disappeared as did his destructive behavior! Valerie gave me two daily updates each time she came to our house! She always included how Paulie was doing and included adorable pictures of him! She truly went above and beyond and we are so grateful to have found her! I will definitely use Valerie again if the need arises! She was wonderful and made my time away so much easier ! Thank you Valerie! ?♥️?”

About: Hello! My name is Alondra, and I've been working with dogs since I was in high school. Professionally I worked at St. Marks Dog Resort in the summer with general staff (playtime, walks, feeds, basic grooming), and I've also dog sit for friends and family for the last several years. I'm very familiar with most medium and small dog breeds, and take care of them like my own! Recently, I've lost my old pup of 15 years, so taking care of other people's pets really brightens my time! I'm also a recent UCI graduate, and I'll be attending Johns Hopkins in the fall, so this is a fun side hustle for me to save for my MPH! I am working part-time, so I have plenty of time to make connections with your pups! I am available on my off days, so I'm available all-day! I always try to make sure your pups have the best time possible. Seeing them with joy brings me joy so I'll never shy away from exciting them! (Within limits, of course). I make sure they stay clean, hydrated, and fed (if applicable), and I'm very aware of our surroundings (such as making sure there are not too many dogs if a pup is a bit more on the hyper side).
“Angelica did an amazing job taking care of my English Bulldog Rascal while I was away on vacation. It was my 1st time using Rover and I couldn't of asked for a better service. Thank you!!”

About: Ive been caring for dogs since 2010. From Shih tzus to Weimaraners. I am very understanding of dogs’ needs at any ages, especially senior dogs. For the past 6 years I’ve been caring for cats as well, fully getting to know what goes into cat care. Caring for cats has been such a great experience. I’ve become close to an expert when anticipating a cats needs and wants. I’m comfortable with cats that are super friendly to cats that are super shy and keep to themselves. I currently have full availbility and can care for pets anytime during the day, afternoon, evening and overnight. I am very flexible with my schedule and can work with most schedules. I never leave my dogs unattended in the backyard because while it is completely fenced off they are curious and can sometimes find ways to go get into things. I also never let them off the leash in the front yard. I monitor eating time to make sure no one eats the others food. I also specially prepare their food based on needs (vitamins, mix-ins, microwaving food, etc). Also putting on coats or sweaters if it’s too cold. For my cat I never let her go outside so I’m very diligent when I let the dogs out to the backyard. I prepare her food as well similar methods to the dogs. I keep up with her nail trimming and brushing as well as keep her litter box clean and tidy. They all have had different medications at different times so im very use to keeping track of different medications needed per pet. When weve had chincillas, guinea pigs and fish, Im always very attentive to how they are. This entails monitoring them if they are getting time outside of their enclosure, cleaning up after them and making sure the other animals in home are respectful of their space :). Many times I have had to redirect my cat away from the fish tank with either a churu treat or toy lol :)

About: As a proud dog owner, I truly understand that your pet is a beloved family member. I have years of hands-on experience in daily care, walking, and providing plenty of affection. I am highly attentive to potty breaks, feeding schedules, and keeping your furry friend safe. You can expect frequent photo updates so you can have total peace of mind while you're away! I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate most of my day to pet care. I can easily accommodate your pet's regular feeding and walking routines. Whether it's weekday drop-ins or weekend boarding, I have plenty of free time to ensure they get the exercise and affection they need. I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-proofed home where your furry friend can feel completely relaxed. I strictly follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, and house rules. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I always send daily updates and photos, so you know they are in great hands.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 9 from neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with pet sitting reptiles, dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies and even horses. I own a bearded dragon and two small dogs, both potty trained with a doggy door available for them to come inside and out. I volunteered for a few years at my local animal shelter with the newborn kittens , walking dogs, and sometimes helping with their pigs and goats. Both of my dogs are friendly with others. I'm currently working part time so I am mostly available all week other than mornings on Friday (10am-1pm) and Saturday (9am-12pm). If it's alright for me to be able to leave to go to work I can pet sit all week long. My own dogs get fed early in the morning then again right around dinner time. Let me know your dogs feeding schedule and I will make sure to implement it. My dogs are also regularly walked so I can easily bring yours along or walk them separately depending on what works best. I have two small dogs, both uncrated and well behaved/friendly. I have a doggy door available for your dogs, so if they are used to coming inside and out, they are able to use it. I do want to put on here that I have a full concrete backyard with walls on all sides and a pool. So definitely make sure your pup is okay with being near a pool. And if not, I can also put up gates to block the pool, just message and let me know. Dogs are blocked off and trained to stay out of the living room because we have carpet but they have access to the rest of the house, not allowed on any furniture other than the couches we have outside and their own doggy beds.
About: As a fellow dog parent, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone else. I understand the nerves, the “I hope they’re okay” thoughts, and the desire to feel confident that they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to be the sitter I hope to find when I need someone to care for my own dog. Because I know how much those little things matter, you can expect: • Plenty of photo and video updates throughout the stay. • Quick communication so you’re never left wondering how your pup is doing. • Lots of love, patience, playtime, and cuddles (if they enjoy them!). • Care that’s tailored to your dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. • Respect for your feeding schedule, medications, favorite toys, and any special instructions. • Treating your dog like family, not just another booking. Whether your dog is playful, shy, energetic, or simply wants a cozy place to nap, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved until they’re back in your arms. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and intentionally make time for. Availability: I work full-time Monday through Friday, so I provide drop-in visits and dog walks before 7:00 AM and after 7:00 PM on weekdays to ensure every pet receives dependable, attentive care. Weekend availability is more flexible. When my schedule allows, I'm also happy to accommodate same-day requests. I'll always communicate clearly and only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the attention they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my priority. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, personality, and preferences so they feel as comfortable as possible. If your pet has an indoor potty accident or gets muddy during our visit, I'll make sure they are cleaned up and comfortable before I leave. You'll receive thoughtful updates and photos, and I'll care for your pet with the same patience, kindness, and attention I give my own.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rancho Cucamonga
Tanta ia the absolute best. For the first time our family was able to take a trip together because of Tanya's care of our animals. Since we have had our dog, we’ve never been able to travel together. She came prior to our trip to meet our dog and us. She kept her commitment and came to not only feed our pets but to play love and snuggle them. We are ever so grateful for you!

Sumei was a great sitter. She responded quickly when we needed a sitter with short notice. She made her visit timely, and provided the services we requested. Zorio enjoyed her visits as she played catch with him. Overall we were very pleased with Sumei and would rebook with her in the future.

Roger and Amy were very professional and accommodating to my pup’s needs. They were on time and made sure she got everything she needed for her meal and walks. I will definitely request them again in the future knowing I can trust them with my baby. 🤍 Thank you both so much!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
