About: I’ve always loved animals, dogs and cats, so I’d love to help take care of your pet as if they were my own! Some of my previous job responsibilities include teaching and taking care of children, being a Programs and Events Coordinator at a Retirement home in San Francisco, and I have helped take care of a friend and her German Shepherd dog after a surgery. I am resourceful, kind, and family oriented. I currently live in the Ontario, CA area, but am from the Coachella Valley. I’m currently in classes in Redlands during the day, so I am available in the early mornings, and late afternoons and evenings and weekends to walk your dogs. I will make sure your pets are well taken care of with food, walking, play, and attention. I plan to create a relationship built on trust with your pet and your family,

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I specifically babysat children for a very long time, but I recently decided to take on animals! I fully understand that pets are considered children and family, and I’ve always treated mine in the same way. Can’t wait to meet your furry friends☺️ I work a 9am-5pm job in commercial real estate. I have flexibility to house sit and pet sit during week days or weekends. I also am happy to take a lunch to walk pets or take them on potty breaks! My dogs have always been more than pets. They are lifelong companions and cherished members of my family. We love spoiling our animals, whether that means buying ramps to make life easier, making sure they each have plenty of cozy beds, or never leaving the store without a new toy for the cat or a chew toy for the dogs. I truly believe animals deserve the same love, patience, and care that we give the people we love. When I care for someone else’s pet, I treat them with that same level of compassion, attention, and respect, as if they were part of my own family.

“Laura made every effort possible to get my very shy cat to come out from hybernation until he actually came out! I am happy I placed my trust in her capable hands.”

About: Looking for a pet sitter? Sign up for Rover through my link to get $20 off your first booking! https://www.rover.com/sit/marisl04002 My goal is simple: to give your pet the same level of comfort, attention, and care they get when you’re home. As a sitter, I bring personal attention, reliability, and genuine love to every pet I care for. I don't just watch pets — I bond with them. I take time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and special needs to ensure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed in your absence. I tailor my care to match your pet’s unique habits — whether that’s extra playtime, medication schedules, special diets, or just quiet companionship. I treat every home and pet as if they were my own, with professionalism, respect, and a high level of communication. Daily updates and photos are always included, so you can travel with peace of mind. As a part-time pet sitter who provides boarding, pet care is central to how I structure my days. When pets stay with me, I treat their needs as my top priority, creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment throughout the weekend. My routine includes regular feeding times, exercise, play sessions, and quiet rest periods, all designed to keep pets comfortable and happy away from home. Communication with pet parents is part of my routine too — I provide regular updates and photos so they feel connected and confident their pets are in good hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stable environment where pets feel secure and cared for, and pet parents can trust their fur baby is safe, whether in my home or theirs.
“First time using Rover trusting and feeling comfortable having someone watch my pup. Lily is the sweetest and most kind sitter. She was great from initial contact. My dog even liked her enough to give her kisses from the start even though he has massive separation anxiety. She kept updates and communication very well. She took him potty played with him and took him on a short walk. I totally trust her and highly recommend and will be using her again in the future.”

About: For over 10 years, I have taken care of the dogs of my friends and family. My experiences include senior dogs with mobility concerns and young hyper-active pups. Through strong attention to detail, I have nurtured and supported the well-being of many dogs and other pets alike. My experience taking care of different animals (e.g cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs) has made me a well-rounded pet sitter. I currently teach part-time at a local community college. Most of my workload can be performed at home. This gives me plenty of time to cater to the needs of your precious doggo. In my home, I have a fenced yard and plenty of space. This assures that dogs can be secured with room to stretch out. I, also, have many home security cameras as an added protection measure. My surrounding neighborhood is safe and very walkable which provides the perfect atmosphere for long walks.
About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, love, and attention I can give every dog in my care. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. They’ll receive plenty of companionship, playtime, potty breaks, and affection throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and relax. I always take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and any special needs so they feel comfortable and at home. Having cared for both cats and dogs, I understand that every pet is unique. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to rest, I’ll make sure they receive patient, loving care. Your pet will be treated like part of our family, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to my 2-year-old son. We both love cats and dogs, and they bring so much joy to our lives. During all bookings, I am the sole caregiver responsible for your pet. My son is always closely supervised, and pets are never left unattended with him. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. Your pet will be treated with love, care, and respect, and I’ll do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I have a fully fenced backyard, as well as access to a nearby community park with open grassy areas where dogs can enjoy fresh air and exercise. At night, your dog will have a clean, quiet, and private space to rest and sleep peacefully. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priority.

“Monique was ready to help us when we needed a sitter to do a drop in for an hour. She is so attentive with the dogs, we love having her sit for our zoo! We can’t wait to have her sit for us again!”

About: My husband and I are a dedicated dog-walking team in Chino. We walk our own dog for a full hour every day after work, rain or shine, because we truly believe in the importance of consistent exercise and fresh air for happy, healthy pups. We started helping our neighbor by walking her senior dog, who doesn’t move around as easily anymore. We’ve learned how to support dogs with mobility challenges—taking things at their pace, using gentle encouragement, and making sure every walk is safe and comfortable. My wife works from home, so she’s also available during the day for one of our other neighbors. They head to work and rely on her for midday check-ins, potty breaks, fresh food and water, and 30 minutes of playtime with their pup. This has given us valuable experience providing flexible, reliable drop-in care that keeps dogs happy and their routines on track. As a couple, we bring extra reliability and two sets of eyes on your dog at all times. Whether you’re tired after a long day, working late, or just need a trustworthy team for walks, check-ins, or playtime, we’re here as your reliable local alternative. We treat every dog like our own—with patience, care, and attention to their individual needs. Our dog is a big part of our daily routine. My husband usually gets home from work between 5:45 and 6:15 PM, and then we walk our own dog for a full hour every evening, rain, or shine. Because I work from home, we can also offer flexible, daytime drop-ins for your pup-just like we do for our neighbors. We’re happy to work around your schedule for consistent evening walks, midday visits, or a mix of both your dog will fit right into our caring, active routine. We care for every dog like it’s our own – with patience, love, and close attention to their unique needs. The exact care always depends on the service you request and your dogs, personality and routine. In your home (walks & drop-ins) We follow your instructions closely. For walks, we use a secure leash and harness, go at a comfortable pace (especially gentle with seniors or mobility challenges), and always clean up after them. My wife works from home, so she can easily handle midday check-ins: potty breaks, ensuring food and water bowls are full and a small play session. We adjust based on whether your dog is indoor or outdoor - keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy either way - and send photo updates so you stay in the loop.
“Elaine has taken care of our cats twice. She follows feeding instructions perfectly. Cleans the litter box better than I do. When she brought our keys back the next day, my cat Hewey ran to the door to greet her. Can't ask for better than that!”
About: I’ve always loved animals and had many family pets growing up. I have had experience caring for and walking dogs of various ages and temperaments. I can stay kind, patient, and conscientious every step of the way! I have a very flexible schedule and can adapt on the fly! Let me clear my mind and a bit of your to do list with a brisk or slow stroll with your four legged friend. I show respect to all species and will vow to take the safest and healthiest path each step of the way with your four legged family member. Open to suggestions and areas your pet may need extra attention or time on.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ontario
Beth Ann is excellent. She was able to accommodate me last minute. She also met with us beforehand because I have an anxious dog and it’s my first time leaving with someone besides family so I was anxious as well. After meeting with her, I felt so much better.

Braelyn was very conscientious and flexible with her time to get to know my dogs and learn about their midday routine prior to the actual drop-in visit. My dogs have taken to her, which is big deal as one of my dogs is quite judgy and wary of certain people. I appreciated her honesty and care for my crew.

Amanda was the best! She was communicative and so kind! Your animal babies and homes are in great hands with her. This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t recommend Amanda enough! She gave my kitty the best care and love while I was away. She’s amazing.

Destiny is the best pet sitter! She has watched our kitty cats multiple times and she is excellent taking care of our fur babies! She keeps in touch with pictures and videos for each visit so we know our babies are doing great! If you are looking for a sitter for your pet she is awesome!

- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
