About: I have lovingly taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes for years. Your pets will be loved and cared for like my own. I am enjoying my second year of retirement from teaching middle school. I have plenty of time to walk and care for your fur babies. While inside, there are multiple plush animal beds for sleeping. However, when outside, animals are always supervised. There are fenced and locked gates on both my front and back yards.

I can feed, medicate, train and love house pets and livestock. I worked for over thirty years as a psychiatric technician, so I can give injections to people and animals. I am patient, reliable and kind, and am a karate instructor in my spare time, so I can keep up with large and active animals. I groom my own large dogs and give them vaccinations, as well as my horse. I have handled a variety of animal-related emergencies, including snake bites, birth, evacuations from fires, and end-of-life care. I treat my animals like they are family.

About: I've gone above and beyond when taking care of my friend's pets. I like to send updates just to give my friends peace of mind. I can take care of pets on Friday after 5pm and on the weekends. Since I work an 8-5 schedule Monday-Friday I'm usually busy until it's after 5pm I wouldn't be able to care for pets in my own home since my lease agreement doesn't allow pets but I will be able to care for the client's pets in their home.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
