About: I grew up with a rambunctious cat and have always been a major animal lover since I can remember. Many friends, family members and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their animals and I enjoy it very much! I am currently on my clinical rotations for PA school, in which my schedule will be changing a bit every 6 weeks. Generally, I should be free in evenings on weekdays and all day on the weekends. Currently, I am only working a few days a week so my schedule is a bit more sporadic and open! I live in an apartment currently so I probably won't be taking in too many pets as of right now. However, I am always very respectful and mindful in client's homes. I am extremely tidy and try to leave the place in better condition than I came into it. I also want to make sure the pet is happy and comfortable in their space!

I live right next door to a beautiful park with tons of range for your dogs to get their energy out and play outside as well as having reliable transportation to come to you and care for your pets at your convenience!

About: I come from a genuine position of wanting to understand how the animal is feeling and what is motivating their behavior. I have experience with cats and dogs from growing up with them and from pet sitting as a kid. I also worked at an animal sanctuary so I have experience with the animals such as pigs, chickens, ducks, and goats. I treat all animals with compassion and care. They are like children in that they each have unique personalities, and deserve autonomy, while at the same time needing to be cared for and protected. I am always learning about how to better communicate with animals and understand their needs. From watching videos to taking classes and reading books, I seek out new perspectives on animal behavior because it is an ever-changing field of study A couple years ago, when my dog started peeing in the house, punishment was not on my mind, I could see from her body language that she felt bad and wasn't doing it on purpose so I had her checked out and learned it was a medical problem not a behavioral one. This is the type of care I will bring to your pets. I'm currently working part-time with flexible hours so I'll be able to stop by multiple times or even stay with your pet for hours or days. I have a fenced yard and quiet neighbors. I am respectful of other people's homes, I leave things the way I find them and do my best to understand the unique needs, routines and personality of every animal.

About: I was raised with cats and dogs and have always loved animals. I have large and small dogs and cats and one horse. I even take care of butterflies! I can feed, medicate, train and love house pets and livestock. I worked for over thirty years as a psychiatric technician, so I can give injections to people and animals. I am patient, reliable and kind, and am a karate instructor in my spare time, so I can keep up with large and active animals. I groom my own large dogs and give them vaccinations, as well as my horse. I have handled a variety of animal-related emergencies, including snake bites, birth, evacuations from fires, and end-of-life care. I treat my animals like they are family.

“Monique is the absolute best!!! You won’t regret booking her. I was going on vacation for 8 days and Monique stayed at my place and took care of my two Pittbulls. I was very anxious and nervous for anyone that wasn’t myself to take care of my boys because one is very high maintenance. He has kidney disease so his diet is very detailed and he has had double ACL replacement surgery a year ago so his exercise is also very detailed and restricted. More than that- my dogs are both rescues and the big one gets separation anxiety from my boyfriend which has caused my dog to severely attack the other when my boyfriend isn’t around- to the point where my other dog has needed surgery. So taking care of my dogs includes a crate and roasts strict schedule and walking the dogs separately. I was full of anxiety trusting anyone with this, but literally within a day of my vacation i was at complete ease seeing how Monique was such a pro with taking care of the dogs properly and keeping them separate. Also 3 earthquakes hit in one morning while Monique was dog sitting- this caused a large storage rack in my garage to collapse and everything fell all over the place. Monique cleaned it up and organized the items that fell. Monique is going to be the only person i ever book with for my dogs.”

I have plenty of time to walk and care for your fur babies. While inside, there are multiple plush animal beds for sleeping. However, when outside, animals are always supervised. There are fenced and locked gates on both my front and back yards.

About: My experience with caring for pets is mainly with friends and family. But it makes me feel very honored to care for someone’s animal pal. I have worked with pregnant dogs, puppies, giving medications, over night stays, walking and transportation as well as some reptiles and birds. Oh also enjoy the training aspect of pet care and if that is your intention with your pet, I would love to help!
