About: Hi! I'm Renae, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, gentle personality and a genuine passion for caring for pets. I know how important it is to feel confident and worry free when you're away, so I focus on safety, communication, and lots of love. I care for pets the way I care for my own, with patience, attention and respect for their routine. I would love to meet your pets and help make your time away easier and stress free. I've designed my schedule around providing reliable, loving attention to every animal I look after seamlessly integrating walks, feeding times and playtime into my flow. I can dog sit 2 pets from same household. Pet care naturally fits into my daily and weekly routine because it blends seamlessly with the rhythm of my home life. Each day includes dedicated time for feeding, fresh water, walks, play and simple check-ins to make sure pets feel calm, comfortable, and loved. I structure my schedule so that pet visits are spaced throughout the day, allowing me to give each animal my full attention and unhurried care.
“Zoe was amazing with my boy Ace! We first met in person at my apartment where she got to meet Ace. Ace loves her at first sniff lol! We took a tour and got to know one another. Even before that I could tell Zoe was just a beautiful soul before we met. She was so nice to take care of Ace at my last minute request. She sent pictures, took him for nice long walks and communicated with me very well while I was away. I’m definitely going to use her for future boarding, walking and house sitting!”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and animals they’ve always been a big part of my life. From the time I was 11 to 17 I helped my aunt with her animal care business, which gave me lots of walking, feeding, bathing, and spending quality time with dogs of all kinds. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets too, and I always treat each one like they’re my own. I truly enjoy giving animals love, attention, and a safe, happy environment. This is my second job! As I am a young adult trying to save up for my future so my schedule is very tight around my other jobs schedule as of right now. When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I stick to their normal routines for feeding, walks, and playtime so they feel secure. I give plenty of attention, exercise, and cuddles, and always keep their space clean and cozy. I also follow any special instructions carefully, whether that’s giving medications, handling specific diets, or keeping up with training. My goal is to make each pet feel like they’re part of my family while their owner is away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 3 years, including my own pets and those of friends and family. I’m responsible, patient, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m available all summer and have a flexible schedule. I love pets and have 3 years of experience caring for dogs. I’m responsible, patient, and dependable. I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. My goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.
About: (Please be sure to select your dates first to verify my availability.) Recently retired. I have owned dogs my whole life and love their company. My wife and I have a large house with a small lawn in the back yard and nearby is big, beautiful Griffith Park in Claremont that invites lots of walking, running and playing space in a very safe neighborhood. I can devote much of the day to the care and welfare of dogs. I take daily walks for myself and they would be much more enjoyable with a dog. My wife and I love dogs and shower them with affection and care. Lots of safe play space, indoors and out, in a dog-friendly neighborhood. (Sorry, no dogs on beds or furniture but they’ll receive all the love and attention they need.)
“Charlotte is absolutely fantastic—the best dog walker ever! She has been walking my high-energy, 1-year-old husky puppy, Maverick, for a month now and consistently goes the extra mile. When I sprained my foot, Charlotte even cleaned up Maverick’s mess in my apartment and grabbed my grocery essentials so I wouldn't stress. Maverick is super hyper and prone to pulling, but Charlotte is incredibly patient and kind. She actively trains him to focus and calm down. They have built a wonderful bond, and he gets so excited the second he sees her! She is completely reliable, always goes above and beyond, and walks him way longer to ensure he burns off his energy and gets a great, happy workout. She truly treats him like her own. I always have total peace of mind knowing Maverick is in such caring hands, especially she also communicates so well and sends great photo and video updates. I highly recommend her! Extremely grateful to have found Charlotte—she truly loves animals and is exceptionally genuine and caring.”

“Ava is amazing. One of our dogs is stubborn and not good with new people, but Ava was patient during the meet and greet, got the dog to be friendly with her despite our worries. She has also been great at following all of our little instructions and shows a lot of love to the dogs. Highly recommended.”

About: ***Fully Vaccinated & Boosted 12/01/22 Hi! I’m Brenda, your new favorite crazy-about-dogs sitter who has been around dogs since I was born. I spend way too time talking to dogs, tagging friends in dog memes, and checking out other people’s dogs. My flexible schedule and love of animals have always made me the go-to amongst friends (and friends of friends) for pet sitting, especially for extended stays or during the holidays, as I am an LA native and don’t need to leave town to visit family :) I work from home (as a writer) most days, so my schedule & availability are very flexible, starting from 8am-11pm. With me, you can also expect tons of photos and updates on your doggo! I have experience with skittish dogs, rescues, senior and disabled/medical dogs, as well as experience fostering for dog rescues and volunteering at animal shelters. So if your dog has special needs, whether it be diet, medication, or mobility, I can help. I donate a portion of all my Rover earnings to the Frosted Faces Foundation, a non-profit based in San Diego that caters to rescuing senior and hospice dogs in Southern California. I work from home (as a writer) on a freelance basis, so caring for your pet is my #1 priority. They’ll get the same amount of love and attention as they do from you! Dogs that stay with me for boarding are welcomed into a safe, quiet, warm environment filled with love and attention. There is generally always someone home, whether it’s me or my cousin (whom I live with), so dogs are rarely left home alone. Besides daily neighborhood walks, your pup can expect to get plenty of sunny nap time in the backyard, several games of tug-of-war and fetch, lots of cozy couch cuddles, and more than a few photoshoots! I live in a house on a quiet street with a large, securely gated backyard. I have hardwood floors (easy cleanup for any accidents) and trash can has a lockable lid and is kept hidden away to prevent access. Dogs are also freely allowed on the couch. At night, dogs sleep in my bedroom with me with the door kept closed to prevent them from wandering. Fresh water is easily accessible in the kitchen and on the patio, as well as in my bedroom. Dogs are supervised anytime they’re in the backyard. There is generally always someone home, but if for any reason the dog has to be left alone, they are either gated in the den/kitchen area or they are crated (only IF you crate your dog and require me to do so as well) and in clear view of our camera so I can check on them. As a general safety precaution, I will not allow your dog off-leash in unsecured areas. If hired to housesit, you can trust that I will leave your home in pristine condition. As I do work from home via laptop, all I require is a Wi-Fi password. Your dog will have the comfort and security of his own home, as well as minimal upset to his daily schedule and constant company/human love & interaction. Dogs are my life, so it's more like how does my routine fit into their day. Hahaha. If I'm taking care of your pets, I do work my schedule around that so they'll always come first! This of course varies depending on your dog's individual needs & schedule. However, I live in a house with a fully secure fenced yard, and dogs are always supervised when we go into the backyard together.
About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember! Most of my experience would be with cats. I raised my cat since he was 4 months old and have experienced the chaos and fun that is their young adulthood! As for dogs, I have experience watching friends and family’s dogs by providing their food, medicine, normal routines, play, grooming, etc. I am currently a full time martial and family therapy graduate student! I have school Tuesdays and Thursdays, and am very available the rest of the days. Ideally, Rover would be a way to exercise my passion for working with animals, being outside in nature, and add extra stability to my income during my time as a student. During my days off from school, I am usually up early studying and continue throughout the day. I am looking forward to gaining pet clients to add needed breaks throughout my day, especially since that involves working with cute animals! I have a lot of experience with being very attentive to pet’s behaviors and feelings. If I can read how your pet is communicating, then I will do everything in my power to provide the best care I can whether that looks like playing with an excited and friendly dog/cat, or giving a nervous and anxious dog/cat some space to warm up to me. I will be sure to make your pets as comfortable as possible and work with their individual needs. Safety and trust are my number one priorities and therefore it is very important for me to administer care however you see fit for your pets. I am very good a following directions and routines.
