About: I have owned dogs my entire life and I currently own a 2 year old Frenchie. I also have a senior dog and a 2 year old cat here at home. I’ve loved animals since I can remember and have been entrusted by friends and family to look after their pets whenever they need. My senior dog has definitely experienced bigger changes over the last couple year so I am comfortable taking care of older pets. My Frenchie keeps me on my toes all day so I am more than ready for energy. My cat is very mellow but I’ve been around family cats that are love bugs and spicy at the same time, but overall I am very comfortable with cats as well. I work part time and I have a very flexible and open schedule. Just let me know what you need and I will do my best to make it work. I am aware of dogs and their different needs, not every dog is the same. Therefore on walks I am not afraid to be vocal with others and letting them know about the pet I am walking and if they’re friendly or not. For check in visits I am aware that I am entering your pets territory and that I am the visitor, I will do my best to ensure that your pets needs are met with care and safety.

Monique O.
“Monique is the absolute sweetest! She takes such good care of my doggies every time. They love her and I don’t trust anyone else with them now. She’s attentive with my doggies, and takes care of them as if they’re her own. 10/10 recommend!”

Sofia S.
“Sofia loves dogs and is a caring and reliable caretaker. She will learn your dogs personality and habits, and become their friend. Trustworthy, responsible and experienced.”

Asha J.
“As per the prompt asking me to describe what makes Asha an amazing human being, I would truly put her love for animals above all on the long list of qualities that make her special. I met Asha in my first year of college and we became close friends instantly. I knew she was special when everyone else I met in college would break the ice with questions like “What’s your major? Where are you from?” and Asha asked “Do you have any pets? Can I show you my dog?” She is an incredibly grounding person with the innate ability to comfort everything/everyone in her presence. I have two dogs, one is 11 years old who is friendly but can be very reserved or defensive when approached, probably due to underlying trauma. My other dog is a puppy with slightly rebellious behavior. When Asha came to visit my family home for the first time, she was instantly greeted with a lot of love from both of my dogs. We had a few behavioral issues with our puppy and Asha, having experience training her own puppy, offered to help out. Although her stay was just short of a week long, she had an impressive amount of patience and care for my dogs that she had just met. She took small but meaningful steps to make them more comfortable around her, and broke some bad behavioral patterns that my puppy was having. I am truly inspired by the compassion that Asha has towards all living things, and am grateful to have experienced her approach and perspective on caring for animals.”

About: I grew up with two dogs for my entire life. I would walk and play with them everyday. Whilst at college I am really missing spending time with my dogs! I am currently in college, so I can fit in dog walking around class. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends work best for me at any time! I grew up with two dogs in a fenced in yard. I walked them multiple times a day and always have enjoyed playing fetch and spending quality times with my dogs.

About: *Get $20 off your very first booking on Rover with this link: https://www.rover.com/sit/drivas I'm a proud pet parent to a 2-year-old Lab/Pit mix who's just as sweet as pie! My journey with her began during my fostering days with a local animal rescue, a role I embraced with open arms. Tasked with nurturing an abandoned mother and her adorable litter of 8, I honed my skills in patience, love, and the gentle art of puppy care. My home became a sanctuary for two of these pups, providing round-the-clock care until one happily trotted off to their forever home. Throughout this experience, I mastered the intricacies of handling multiple dogs, from the joys of potty training to managing their playful energy. But my expertise doesn’t stop at puppy care. I've developed a knack for understanding canine body language and cues, ensuring a safe and happy environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I'm adept at catering to the unique needs of each dog, recognizing that like us, they have their own personalities and preferences. My commitment to your pet's well-being is unparalleled. I'm not just a sitter or a walker; I'm a devoted caretaker who goes above and beyond to ensure your furry family member feels loved, secure, and stimulated, both mentally and physically. Choose me as your dog's companion, and you're not just getting a caretaker — you're gaining a trusted ally in your pet's happiness and development. As a dedicated work-from-home professional, my daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to integrate pet care seamlessly. The flexibility of my job allows me to take frequent breaks specifically for playtime, enriching walks, and timely feedings. This ensures that your beloved companion will enjoy regular attention and care throughout the day. What's more, my home office setup is pet-friendly, and I've arranged my workspace so I can always keep a watchful eye on your pet, ensuring they're safe and content. Whether it's a midday stroll to stretch their legs or a cozy cuddle session, I can readily adjust my activities to meet your dog's needs. My approach to pet care is interactive and hands-on. I believe in the importance of regular engagement and consider these moments with your pet as essential breaks for both of us. It's a perfect balance that not only breaks up my workday but also keeps your pet's tail wagging with happiness and health. Safety and trust are the cornerstones of my pet care philosophy. In my home, your pet’s well-being is my utmost priority. I've taken steps to create a 'pawsitively' secure environment, ensuring all areas are pet-proofed against any potential hazards. This means safe play zones, secure fences, and no-access areas to anything that could harm your furry friend. My home is a haven of comfort and calm, designed to ease the anxiety some pets may feel in a new space. I maintain a clean, organized, and peaceful environment where your dog can relax, play, and explore without stress. Transparency is key, so I'm committed to providing regular updates and photos of your pet's stay, giving you peace of mind while you're away. In entrusting your pet to my care, you're not just getting a sitter—you're gaining a vigilant guardian who values the trust you place in me to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe.

Jasmine A.
“I have nothing but great things to say about jasmine! I was in desperate need of a sitter for my cat and found her on rover near my area. Jasmine is very very sweet asked many questions to make sure my cats needs got taken care of. She would go daily to check up on my cat and change her water and feed her. She was very respectful about my home and trustworthy! I would definitely hire her again in the near future for when we are out on trips with my family. Thank you jasmine!”

Melaena H.

“Melaena took excellent care of my dog for two days. Even though I had to book last minute for a unexpected trip, Melaena was super easy to communicate with and kept me updated on everything. She took my dog on several walks, as well as gave my dog medicine and food. No problems, no fuss. I highly recommend Melaena to take care of your dogs too!”

Alberto L.

“Alberto walks my dog for me during the weekdays while I’m at school. He is great! He is detailed, punctual, & communicative. I recommend him for any pet care needs!”

About: Hi all! My name is Laura and I am a senior in college. I have two pets back at home, a black cat and a long hair all black german shepherd! I've done lots of pet-sitting, and I love to get outside and bring furry friends with me. As I wrap up my last couple classes of college, I have lots of time for dog walking and helping out as much as possible. Please feel free to reach out! I am finishing my last semester of college, so I have a flexible schedule with only a couple classes. I am available most days of the week, and have lots of experience pet-sitting and providing plenty of TLC! I have a fenced in back yard and a front yard with lots of grass! There are currently no other animals at my home. There is also a park right next to my house and it's a great place for dogs to run around.

About: I've cared for pets since I was 6 years old, and took a more active role in walking and feeding regularly when I was around 10. I've cared for an old dog, a grumpy cat, and four fishes. I'm in the area between Tuesday and Friday, and I'm available between 6 AM to 6 PM on Tuesday-Thursday and 6 AM to 3 PM on Friday. I understand animal body language and communication and will take the utmost care to keep your pet safe and unharmed while they are in my care.

Lynn V.

“Lynn adopted a dog that had been neglected and was scared to go near people, but has been able to bring that dog out of its shell through smart exposure to new places, smells, and sounds. I’ve watched the dog go from a scared puppy that’s now turned into a well rounded dog who goes on long walks and hikes daily. Lynn would do great as a Rover dog walker and would take great care of the dogs she comes across.”

Tess B.
“I have 2 cats and a pitbull and needed someone to watch them while I was away on a business trip. Tess went above and beyond and send me many (adorable) pictures and updates over the weekend. She didn't have much experience with cats at the time (wasn't an issue for me since my cats are pretty low-maintenance), but she learned to adapt very quickly to their needs and care routines and they seemed to love her enough to sit on her lap. My pittie couldn't get enough of her either! Super sweet and caring, would definitely recommend.”

Kaylin P.
“I have never met anyone who loves pets more than Kaylin! She is so kindhearted and will give your pet all of her love. She’s always making friends with new cats and dogs everywhere we go. She is super responsible and was never late to work. You can’t go wrong with hiring her.”

Isabella G.

“Cody was very happy with his new friend, Isabella. She came on time and we had a great Meet and Greet. I am excited to continue booking Isabella to help with Cody.”

Mady K.

“Thanks so much!”

Marissa G.
“Marissa has grown up with and taken care of dogs since she was an infant. She is a loving, kind, patient person who is a true dog mom at heart. She was raised three small dogs, two pit bulls, and two cats. She has never been without an animal in her life and always takes care of them as family. She is a responsible person who can be entrusted with your loved ones.”
