About: (Please be sure to select your dates first to verify my availability.) Recently retired. I have owned dogs my whole life and love their company. My wife and I have a large house with a small lawn in the back yard and nearby is big, beautiful Griffith Park in Claremont that invites lots of walking, running and playing space in a very safe neighborhood. I can devote much of the day to the care and welfare of dogs. I take daily walks for myself and they would be much more enjoyable with a dog. My wife and I love dogs and shower them with affection and care. Lots of safe play space, indoors and out, in a dog-friendly neighborhood. (Sorry, no dogs on beds or furniture but they’ll receive all the love and attention they need.)
About: With over 15 years of experience in animal industry including vet care, rehabilitating, rescue work, and training - I am well equipped and ready to help your pup with their needs! Pet First Aid and CPR certified! Special needs welcomed! No breed restrictions! If they're friendly, up to date on vaccines, and spayed/neutered, they're welcome! (Flea preventative required for boarding) For Walking services: I schedule walks around school drop off, so I am UNavailable between 6:30am and 7:30am Mondays through Thursdays and UNavailable 7:30-8:30 on Fridays. Please note that I do NOT offer afternoon walks during summerhwat waves to protect paws and be aware of heat stroke potentials. We do not put doggies in danger here! For boarding bookings: I am available 24/7 as we scjedule our personal errands around YOUR schedule (other than the school drop offs mentioned above). Constant care is available as there is someone ALWAYS home and I am gone just for school transport. (Doordash is my friend!) For boarding, our home is fully fenced and have 2 yards for the dogs to play in. Our front yard currently has dead grass the sun totally fried during the heat wave (enter cry emoji here) but we are reworking it and will soon be the lush lawn we have always had (and you can see on our photos). Our guests are always indoors for snacks, relax time, meals, bedtime. We hit the outdoors for potty, play time and sniffing/enrichment time (weather permitting) For dog walking: I provide my own safety leashes but will work with what youre currently training your pup with if it meets the safety requirements. Again, we dont put pups in danger here! Safety is ALWAYS a priority.
About: I have dog sat for family friends for years including anything from just popping in to check on and walk/feed their pups, from staying with their dogs for the week while they’re out of town, and the owners have always conveyed feeling more than satisfied with my care! I’m also super active so can keep up with anything! I currently have open availability to care for your pups on the weekends and most weekdays as I am in school and working part-time! About: I've always had a special connection with animals. My dogs and cats have been rescued, not from a pound but have come to me either from the streets or random place. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.

Ava is amazing. One of our dogs is stubborn and not good with new people, but Ava was patient during the meet and greet, got the dog to be friendly with her despite our worries.
