“Monica was amazing this whole week! She texted me every time she picked up Theo for a walk and texted me pictures of their walk every day. It was very reassuring to know that he was happy and doing well. She was even kind enough to wipe his paws when it was raining and fed him after the walk. Highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a dog walker or someone who truly cares about animals:) Thank you soo much Monica!!!”

About: Hello, I’m Krystal 👋🏼 I am so excited to meet your furry family members! Dogs have been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, and because my entire family still has dogs, I am constantly around them. Having previously owned a Doberman, I am entirely comfortable, confident, and experienced with large breeds and strong dogs, I love small dogs, too. From high-energy pups who need tons of exercise to sweet, gentle giants and tiny lapdogs, I am ready to handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. I promise to treat your beloved pet with the exact same love, patience, and care that I give to my own family’s dogs. I can't wait to give your pup a fun, safe, and happy experience. I work from home full-time, which gives me a highly flexible schedule. Because I am remote, your pet will have constant company, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Safety is my top priority. Growing up around dogs of all sizes and energies—including my own Doberman—means I know how to read dog body language and maintain a secure environment. My apartment has a patio in the back, your pet can catch some sun there if needed, too.
About: Driven by a deep passion for both cats and dogs, I provide exceptional care and love to ensure every pet thrives and feels cherished. Spending time with cats and dogs can be relaxing and reduce stress! Pet care fits really well into my routine since I work from home. I have the flexibility to take care of feeding, walks, playtime, and just spending time with pets throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy it and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ve a large yard with fence, your dogs will have plenty of room to play and it’s very safe. Comfortable and relaxing area with shades
About: We don't have any pets of our own, but have experience with taking care of cats/dogs for our friends, family, and now Rover clients! We only take one "family" at a time (up to 2 dog/cat siblings). I'm available during the week and on weekends to care for your dogs or cats. My fiancé and I both work from home, and are flexible to take breaks to walk or play with your pets! When boarding your pets, we can offer them plenty of love and attention! For dogs, we usually do at least 2 walks per day (we keep the afternoon ones short if it's too hot). We have a large fenced-in backyard and a few parks in walking distance. For cats, we love playing with them with wand toys or simple yarn, or putting some Cat TV on for them haha.
About: We’re a fun, family home with lots of love to give! Your pup will enjoy playtime, snuggles, and a cozy environment where they’re treated like one of our own. I believe in gentle care, clear communication and making sure you feel comfortable while you’re away Because I work part-time and my husband works from home, there is consistent supervision in our house. Pet care easily fits into our daily rhythm. we’re already used to giving lots of love and attention. Feedings when scheduled.Your pet would be part of our normal family life, not left alone for long stretches. In our home, pets become part of our family’s daily routine. I keep feeding schedules consistent with what they’re used to, provide supervised playtime, outdoor patio breaks, and lots of affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful and social or shy and need a quieter space. Safety is very important to me, so all interactions with my children and our cat are gentle and supervised, and pets are never left outside unattended. I also send regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and at ease.
“Veronica has been amazing with my client’s dog from day one. She is gentle, calm, and really seems to understand what dogs need to feel safe and comfortable. She always arrives on time, gives clear updates after each walk, and sends thoughtful notes about how the walk went. On top of that, she’s kind, polite, and very respectful of our home and privacy—everything is always left neat and exactly as she found it. I have complete peace of mind when Veronica is scheduled, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals in and around the house. I currently live with 11, 2 dogs and 9 cats. All of which vary in age. I’ve bottle fed newborn kittens, administered flea medication and other oral and external medications, and I can keep animals company. I’m working part-time and I’m currently looking for another source of income even if it’s just a little side money, I don’t do much outside of work, while my schedule is inconsistent, I don’t work often, though I’m willing to negotiate scheduling. I have 11 animals in my house. Currently 2 kittens who I have bottle fed, and in the process of harness training. I have a fenced backyard for my two dogs, and a cat who loves to smell the flowers. NONE of my felines are outdoor cats, though as previously mentioned, I have one who likes to take a step outside every once in a while and one of my kittens has a borderline unhealthy attachment to me. The litter boxes are cleaned every other day, and all animals, except the kittens because of how old they are, are on a feeding schedule. The dogs do get cooked meals. Currently I only have 2 animals posted on my profile, but I do live with 11 total. I just have yet to make their profiles.
“Claudia was so awesome! I got updates and photos the entire time she was with our dogs. They look SO happy in the pictures, and I'm already planning my next booking with her. Thank you Claudia!”

“Thank you for always spending extra time with Leo. It really means a lot to us parents. Always very communicative. Overall, very glad to have you help us out taking care of our pup.”

About: I’ve been around dog’s and cats my whole life I love them. I would love to watch your fur baby for you. Ask for info. I currently work different gig jobs but can definitely squeeze in a few walks a day for your fur baby and your pet must be kid friendly and also friendly with other animals I allow the pet’s to roam freely around the house please bring your own pet food maybe a favorite blanket or toy to make your fur baby feel more comfortable
About: Hello pawrents! I'm Betsy, and I'm here to offer your fur babies a home away from home. When it comes to hosting your four-legged friends, there are a few ground rules. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that our doggie friends would need to be house trained and non-destructive. Crate-trained is preferred, but not a must. To make sure everyone including your and my fur babies are comfortable, I would prefer dogs that can be comfortable in the same environment as my cat. Now, why should you trust your beloved pets in my care? Well, besides growing up in a household that was practically a Noah's Ark (complete with kittens and puppies), I've volunteered with ASPCA and Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue. I know a few things about pet care, but I am not an expert. Living with housemates who had their own mini zoo of dogs and cats taught me interspecies diplomacy. I've successfully negotiated treaties over squeaky toys and mediated disputes about sunny spots on the couch. So, if you're jetting off on a well-deserved vacation or just need a helping paw when life gets a bit too ruff, I'm here to provide a loving and secure environment for your pets. Let's work together for an ameowzing barkcation! 🏡🐶🐱 I work from home so I have a lot of free time aside from a few hours everyday that I’m busy with meeting. This means that I can give your furry babies the attention they want and deserve almost all day. This also means I’m almost always available to provide updates or be reachable when you need me. Please note that even though I'm available all day, I would discuss a schedule that works best for you and your baby. Frequencies of updates, play time, and potty breaks will be discussed prior to me accepting the booking. I follow instructions if you have detailed needs for your pet. I’m a methodical person open to technology when it comes to caring. I have a detailed itinerary that I can share with you that includes a list of questions that I will ask and note down any behaviors/schedules I need to follow. I will also, at minimum, provide an update in the morning and evening that includes detail such as how they're doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I’ve took them on walks, played with them, fed them if parents were out of town, & stayed overnight if needed. I'm currently a student, so l'Il have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available Monday- Friday & weekends if needed! If you need an overnight sitter to keep your fur baby company I can easily stay overnight with them & make sure they have the company they need.
“We had a great experience with Megan! My dog seemed happy and well cared for when we got home. I appreciated Megan’s clear and detailed communication and photos. She listened to my concerns about my dog’s needs and really went out of her way to care for him patiently. I would definitely ask her to care for our dog again!”
About: I have taken care of pets and been around pets since I was a child. I mainly specialize in cats but I have experience with medium and little sized dogs too. I have had my own 2 kitties for about 8 years. I am a gig worker and I love having flexibility. It is great for being able to drop in and play with your animals or feed them. With my knack for attention to detail I can easily pay mind to any specific instructions I may need to follow. I give my pets love, patience and understanding and would treat your animals with the same respect I give my own.

Jahni went above and beyond today to take our two reactive dogs for a walk while we were away. Shadow and Maple are slow to warm but somehow Jahni was able to leash them and off they went, looking very happy to be out in the photos. Thank you so much for your help, Jahni!

Pam was great from the meet and greet to her first walk with my senior citizen baby. She was on time (early actually a few minutes which we don’t mind) took plenty of pictures and gave great updates! We will be using Pam consistently going forward as long as she is available !

Dalia is one of the kindest dog walkers we've met. She gently approached our senior diabetic dog with great care and empathy, establishing trust and a bond very quickly. Dalia showcased her preparedness and experience with injecting insulin by asking appropriate questions and offering helpful suggestions. She is always punctual, assertive, and a quick thinker, able to adapt to our dog's mood and energy level to ensure 30 min walks are effective. In the pictures she takes, our dog always looks content. We highly recommend Dalia.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
