“Our dogs loved going to Lesley’s! I’m not sure they even wanted to come home with us 😊 Lesley was communicative and sent several pictures throughout their stay. I would highly recommend her.”

“Our Morrissey was well taken care of and I loved getting updates, including pictures and videos during his stay. My booking was very last minute, but they were so understanding and I am glad they were able to take him in on such short notice. He got plenty of outdoor play which I really appreciated. Thank you for excellent care.”

“Zeus is well taken care of. I trust that he is in great hands with Neicie and her family. I appreciate the updates and communication, helps me know he is having a great time with his friends. Thank you!”

“Rhonda was a great sitter! She was very attentive and kept us updated with Bonnie. Bonnie enjoyed her time there with other doggies! Rhonda also followed our instructions very well. Thank you again Rhonda!”

“I could not have had a better dog sitter for my dog Remi. She had an amazing time and she did so well with her dog Bruce. Frances was amazing about everything from sending updates, taking pictures, keeping her feeding schedule and talking her on walks. She’s the best dog sitter I’ve had and it’s hard to trust people with your pets especially when they can’t speak up to share their experience. I will definitely work with her in the future. Thank you again!!”

“Analisa took excellent care of our pups, sent us lots of videos and photos, kept us updated on how they were doing, and was super quick to respond for booking and any questions! Would 100% recommend her to watch your dogs, and we will be returning!”

“Dennis and family did an amazing job with our 6mo old puppy. Daily photos and videos were great as we got to see how much fun she was having. We will be using Dennis in the future. We highly recommended him for your pooch!”

“It was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter Adrian and Jovan. The large backyard gave our Lucy plenty of room to exercise and explore, which we loved. What really stood out were the consistent updates and messages keeping us informed. It made being away so much easier knowing Lucy was in great hands. Thank you so much!!”

“Ariana and her husband were AMAZING with my husky mix. He is large dog with high energy and can be quirky, but he settled in so nicely, and they were fantastic with him. They got to know his personality, sent photos daily, took him on walks in the morning/evening, being mindful of the heat, and always responded quickly to my texts. I can't recommend them more!”

“Our dog was really happy during his stay and Edward seemed equally happy to spend time caring for him. Edward was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and provided many photos of their adventures.”

“This is the second time Shelby and Scott watch our boys and let’s just say they ran right into their house and pretended like we didn’t exist! Shelby is great at texting photo updates and I know my boys feel right at home with them. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages and temperaments, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. My background includes basic obedience training, administering medications, and providing calm, consistent care for anxious pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own, focusing on their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether it’s a walk, overnight stay, or special-needs care, I make sure your pet feels loved and secure while you’re away. Taking care of a pet is an important part of daily and weekly life. On a daily basis, pet care includes feeding, providing fresh water, and spending some time playing or exercising with your pet to keep them happy and healthy. Regular check-ins allow you to notice any changes in their behavior or health. Weekly routines often involve deeper care, such as grooming, bathing, cleaning living areas, and restocking supplies like food and toys. These activities help maintain your pet’s hygiene and overall well-being. Integrating pet care into your routine not only ensures your pet’s health but also strengthens the bond between you and your furry (or not-so-furry) friend. Caring for pets requires attention, compassion, and adapting to each pet’s unique needs. Whether the pet is in your own home or at a client’s home, the goal is to ensure their comfort, safety, and happiness. In Your Own Home: You provide a familiar and loving environment where pets receive consistent care. This includes regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, grooming, and monitoring their health. You can tailor activities based on each pet’s personality and preferences, creating a stable routine that promotes their well-being. In a Client’s Home: Caring for pets at a client’s home means respecting the pet’s environment and the owner’s instructions. You follow established routines for feeding, exercise, medication, and social interaction to maintain the pet’s comfort and reduce stress. Being attentive and responsive to the pet’s behavior helps build trust and ensures they feel safe while their owner is away. In both settings, communication with pet owners is key to understanding specific needs and preferences, allowing you to provide the best possible care.

“Marysol was so great!! My little Foxy was so well taken care of. She came back home happy and smelling better than when I dropped her off and a clean bed. You can tell Marysol really loves dogs. She really took great care over the 4 nights my little girl was with her. I’m very appreciative of her! She was an amazing communicator, keeping me informed of how she was doing. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again! Thank you so much!!”

“Kitti and his wife Timmy are such a blessing! They took care of our Lexi like she was their own ❤️ Daily pictures and updates were always provided while we were away and Kitti was quick to respond when I asked how my girl was doing. (This was our first time using Rover and Lexi has never been away from home before) Another reviewer said that having your dog stay with them is like dropping your baby off at Grandpa and Grandma’s house. So true!! ??? Lexi got really attached to Kitti’s wife Timmy and Lexi was given unlimited belly rubs ? ? They are now my go-to sitters for the future. Rover’s best kept secret! But sshh, don’t tell! ?”

“First time using Jahni but it will not be the last. She was great. Sent updates and pictures throughout the day. Took them on quite a few walks. Pups were so tired when they came home. Highly recommend.”

“Very happy with Melanie’s care of our cat Kupo! We just needed a few drop in visits over the weekend and it went very well. Melanie sent pictures and videos each time. We would book Melanie again!”

“Hunter has been absolutely amazing with our 12-week-old German Shepherd, Rocky! She’s a sassy puppy with lots of energy, and since Hunter started caring for her, we’ve seen such a positive change. She’s happier, more settled, and even less nippy—which says a lot at this stage! Hunter is patient, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Rocky is in such great hands. He keeps us updated and truly goes above and beyond in the care he provides. I can’t recommend Hunter enough. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pup, he’s the one. We’ll definitely continue booking with him!”

About: I worked at a dog/cat vet clinic for 2 years where I had the opportunity to learn about cat behavior and how to approach them. We were fear free certified so I always make sure that every animals feels safe and comfortable when I’m around and I’m always really patient to assess how well they are adapting to me and just work on creating a trusted bond with them!
About: I have a senior 13 year old shi tzuh and have a lot of experience with carrying for dogs from the puppy stage to the senior stage. I also rescued two cats in the past 2 years and have learned so much and love to treat my babies like family. Friends and family ask me to check in on their pets while away on trips as I am reliable and great with animals. You can count on me for your pet care needs. I'm currently a part time student and I have plenty of time to check in on your lovely pets, take them on walks, give them food, water, and entertain them. I live in an apartment with a roomy balcony. I take my dog out for walks and poppy breaks, I let let both my dog and cats relax on the balcony to get their vitamin D and take afternoon naps. The cats mainly stay inside and play and my dog is very mellow and like to relax after her walks and poppy breaks.
“Renae is very responsible for taking care of my cat. She notified me about the issue of my auto wet food feeder. So that, I could fix it as soon as possible remotely. She also stopped by my apartment twice to confirm the access to my buildings.”

“Thank you Dana for caring for Yoshi! You were incredibly kind, flexible, and accommodating, and I truly appreciated your communication and availability. It gave me peace of mind knowing Yoshi was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for cats and other animals for many years, both for my own pets and for friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, administering basic medications, and adjusting to different cat personalities and temperaments. I understand that some cats are social and playful while others are shy or easily stressed, and I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m also highly communicative and detail-oriented, and I know how important consistent updates and reliability are when someone is trusting me with their pets and home. While I’m newer to Rover, I take pet care seriously and strive to provide calm, dependable, attentive care every visit.
“Natalie is communicative, caring, and absolutely lovely all around. We really appreciated and enjoyed having her take care of our precious Bib. We will absolutely be booking with her again. I have nothing but great things to say about Natalie and the work she did! Thank you so much, Natalie! 🥰”

“Our kitty’s love Stacy. When she came over to drop off the key, one met her at the front door and the other who was in my lap) started purring and meowed to her like she talks to us. This is our third time Stacy has watched our kitties for us and I will definitely hire her again. My kitties agree with me. She communicates well, sends photos of our kitties and I feel she is very trustworthy.”

“Kellar took care of our 5 fish tanks, including saltwater, freshwater, and brackish, while we were away and is an amazing pet caregiver! I got great updates and photos with the daily Rover Cards. I even saved some of the photos because they were so good. Kellar seemed interested and showed enthusiasm during the meet and greet which gave me peace of mind before the sit even began. Kellar asks questions as they arise and is a good communicator. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs pet care and will definitely be requesting their services again in the future.”
About: $20 off your first time using Rover if you use https://www.rover.com/sit/leslyr97923 :) I have grown up with dogs of my own and pet sat for family members and friends growing up. I always make sure my pet friends felt welcome and at home in my house. I work a hybrid schedule, Monday-Wednesday in office and Thursday and Friday at home. We’d love to accommodate to drop offs/pick ups, but for those in office days we’d only be able to accept guest dogs after 5:30 pm. Alongside my husband and daughter, we enjoy including your pup into our little family and providing lots of warm love. ~~~Meet & Greets~~~ Although I do not require meet and greets, it is important that your pup is fully comfortable with other people and dogs. I do have a young child that so it is important to know if your dog is okay around children. Since she was a puppy, our dog Marlow has been around many dogs, big and small, and has loved welcoming them into our home as well. She gets so excited having a buddy each time! Although I cannot offer tours of the home, we could always meet in the front yard. If an abnormal time schedule is needed, I'm happy to chat and discuss any adjustments that are needed if I have the capability that week. Your pets are always top priority! During their very first stay, I like to make sure that your peace of mind is met and will send you multiple pictures and updates. We have a fenced yard. We live in a nice and quiet neighborhood where I’ve always felt safe going for walks in. Please let me know if your furbaby needs any special accommodations!
“I left my kitty with Amirah for a couple of days, and it was his very first time staying with a sitter. She did such a wonderful job! He is usually very shy, but he really opened up at her place and seemed completely at home. She sent me several adorable pictures of him playing, relaxing, and clearly having a great time. When I picked him up and brought him home, he was happy and content, almost as if I had never left! I’m so grateful to Amirah for taking such good care of him, and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“When I asked Zoe to take care of Mama at the last minute, they were incredibly responsive. They were also so sweet about meeting her and attentive to her needy nature! They sent me the most adorable photos of her, along with a comprehensive description of how they cared for her, and even thanked me sincerely for letting them watch Mama. If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves pets and ensures all their needs are met, look no further than Zoe!”

“Thank you for being available last minute! Star took great care of my pup, showed up early and saved the day by being there in a pinch! She’s such a joy to work with and my pup had so much fun with her! I definitely recommend Star and will definitely book her again! Thank you again!!!”

“We had an excellent experience with Denise! She did a fantastic job of keeping us updated on our dog’s activities and well-being. We received frequent pictures, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Our dog looked happy and well-cared for in every photo. We highly recommend and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“I am so grateful for Renae. She watches my dog twice a week and it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good, caring hands. She takes him on hikes, plays with him, and genuinely cares about his well-being. He always looks so happy and sleeps so good after a day with her. It’s such a relief to know he is being loved when I’m not able to be with him.”
“Analisa was excellent! Very friendly and clearly cared about our dog a lot. Sent tons of photos and videos throughout the day, which I appreciated. Will definitely use again.”

“Adrian and Jovan are great! My nervous dog stayed with them a couple of days in a row while I was at work. She wasn’t happy about me leaving on the first day, but she clearly had a great time. On the second morning at drop off, she jumped excitedly out of the car and walked right into the house, barely even acknowledging that I was leaving. I could tell that she felt safe, comfortable, and happy with them. They clearly showered her with attention, and she had a great time zooming around the yard and playing fetch. I would absolutely have her stay with Adrian and Jovan again!”

About: I have fostered all types of animals and I use to live in a farm down in Norco. I have fostered dogs, cats and even rabbits. I always store an emergency kit for the animals that I foster. I have antibiotics, ear drops, antifungal cream and much more because I use to take care of animals that were abandoned and rescues. I am always prepared that’s why I have done cpr classes for animals that way if something happens I am well prepared. I am well trusted to take care of your pet because I treat all animals with compassion and lots of love. I will guarantee that I will make sure your pet is comfortable, well taken care of, and feel safe at all cost. I will most definitely love to equip with toys that way they are able to have fun and have time to exercise that way they are happy and healthy. I'd love to take care of your pet because I am experienced and love animals. If you have exotic animals I am also experienced to take care of them as well since I have taken care of all sorts of animals in the past. Thank you for taking the time to read!! I have a pretty flexible schedule I haven’t been able to pet sit for the past year because of the pandemic but I can’t wait to show all the animals the love that I have for them because each one deserves love! The way I take care of the pets I babysat was making sure I clip their nails that way they stay clean and groom them with a brush so that way they don’t shed too much and I love to train them with tricks and teaching them how to walk and ovey commands.
“I could tell during the meet and greet that Paul and Lisa are very kind and caring people who love dogs, and I was confident that my little Tula with separation axiety would be safe in their care. And on her first full day stay at Paul's, I could tell by the pics and texts from Paul that she was indeed safe and cared for! Plus, I was able to relax on my day away!”

“Dennis was great! We had so many updates for Ozzy’s first doggy day care with Dennis. Our pup had a BLAST and came back so tired, we love it! We definitely will be a returning client !😊”

“Yu was a great dog sitter! His dogs got along well with my dog, he did walks around the neighborhood, and he took great pictures to show me throughout the day how my dog was doing so I can check in and feel assured that he was doing ok and happy. There was even a picture where my dog was happy playing in the grass under the sun in his backyard with his dogs with a smile on his face so I was really satisfied with his services. I will definitely book again. THANK YOU YU for taking great care of my son!”

About: I have many years of experience with my own pets as well as others. I'm working with what makes me the happiest "dogs". I have been successful with basic training and can provide that service with drop-in's. I understand your dog is like a family member to you. Sometimes you just can't be there when you want to be. I will treat Him or Her with sincere kindness while still being firm. I can't wait to meet your furry family member. This is my full time job. Your dog will be the only non family furry friend here with myself and my husband who works from home. If I choose to have another client here (whom I believe would be a good fit) at any time during your dogs stay I will confirm with you first. We have one labradoodle who loves when furry friends come to visit. Your dog will have freedom to roam all areas except bedrooms. If they are staying overnight they will be crated next to us ONLY while we are sleeping. As a courtesy to my clients I will work on basic training as best I can if you ask me. I have been successful with my pets and clients dogs as well.

About: (Please be sure to select your dates first to verify my availability.) Recently retired. I have owned dogs my whole life and love their company. My wife and I have a large house with a small lawn in the back yard and nearby is big, beautiful Griffith Park in Claremont that invites lots of walking, running and playing space in a very safe neighborhood. I can devote much of the day to the care and welfare of dogs. I take daily walks for myself and they would be much more enjoyable with a dog. My wife and I love dogs and shower them with affection and care. Lots of safe play space, indoors and out, in a dog-friendly neighborhood. (Sorry, no dogs on beds or furniture but they’ll receive all the love and attention they need.)
“Melanie was a joy to work with! She sent me so many cute video updates of my pups, and I knew they were in great hands! I will definitely reach out next time I am in the area.”

About: I've always had a special connection with animals. My dogs and cats have been rescued, not from a pound but have come to me either from the streets or random place. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.

I work from home part-time. In my spare time I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I am available to stay at your place or bring your small animal in as needed. I have an extra bedroom and a senior dog who is very calm. I also have a safe neighborhood for walks and a park nearby.

I schedule may be adjusted from time to time. I am only set up to accommodate small dogs that get along with other dogs in my home at this time. I prefer to care for pets in their own home.
“Zoe was amazing with my boy Ace! We first met in person at my apartment where she got to meet Ace. Ace loves her at first sniff lol! We took a tour and got to know one another. Even before that I could tell Zoe was just a beautiful soul before we met. She was so nice to take care of Ace at my last minute request. She sent pictures, took him for nice long walks and communicated with me very well while I was away. I’m definitely going to use her for future boarding, walking and house sitting!”

“Lisa takes such great care of our special needs dog Ellee. She sends pics throughout her stay and is always so responsive to all communication. We changed our vacation dates just so we can be sure to have Ellee be taken care of by someone we trust which is Lisa 100%.”
“Roxie & Steven kept us sane and made us feel very safe and comfortable while we were away on vacation! Our baby Anakin loved spending time with them and their dog Baso who he quickly became best buddies with! It was so nice to know that he was getting lots of exercise and play time and overall so much attention the whole time. We were being updated constantly and it was just what we wanted!”

“I love Oi! She took such good care of my fur babies. She sent me pictures of my kitties daily having fun and she even cut their nails. They were very happy to be there. I will ask Oi to cat sit again.”

“First time Charlie Went to Michelles without his friend Luke who passed away recently. He did OK as he is depressed without his friend and me his mom. Going to keep bringing him as I trust Michelle and he needs to get use to it. Will always use Michelle .”

It was her first time being away from home and we were both a little nervous but Frank went out of his way to help both of feel at ease with lots of updates for me. Lots of attention and care for Daisy I could see she was doing well and having a good time. Thank you Frank I would definitely book again.”

“This was my third time leaving snoopy my dog with Yilin. I was late dropping off snoopy but Yilin was very understanding about it. And just like the previous times, I have peace of mind leaving my dog with someone who I can see treats him good. I feel very comfortable, and will be booking again this coming weekend if she is available.”

“We had an amazing experience with xiaoting while we were in the hospital delivering our baby. She was incredibly flexible with our changing dates and pickup timing, which took a huge weight off our shoulders during such an unpredictable time. She went above and beyond by preparing Mocha’s food when needed and kept us updated with frequent videos and messages throughout her stay. It was so reassuring to see how comfortable, happy, and well cared for Mocha was. When we needed to extend her stay unexpectedly, she was extremely accommodating and treated her like he was her own dog. We could truly see in every video how much love and attention Mocha received, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed her time there. We are so grateful for the exceptional care she provided and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Xutao was responsive and more then accommodating with our golden retriever. I would highly recommend him for doggy sitting needs! His house is doggy friendly and is trustworthy! We will be be using his services again.”
