Hi! I'm Carlos. I completed a veterinary preparatory program from December to April 2025 and have been working at a veterinary hospital since earning my Bachelor of Science degree in 2023. With both academic and hands-on experience in animal care, I’m confident in my ability to provide excellent care for your pet. I'm reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

Carlos is the most attentive dog walker we ever had. We had to make some unique arrangements which he was so responsive in making happen. He is well worth his fee. If you want one one reliable and Curtis, book Carlos. Our dog he Wales feels the same way

Schedule
Pet care is my top priority right now. I recently completed a veterinary preparatory course and am currently available full-time. This means I have the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of schedules, including last-minute requests, extended stays, or daily walks. Your pet will get my full attention and care throughout the day.

I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort to ensure your pet feels at ease—whether in my home or yours. Safety First: I pet-proof spaces, secure all doors/gates, and remain vigilant during walks or playtime. I always keep a pet first-aid kit nearby and know where the nearest vet is, just in case. Building Trust: I get to know your pet gently and follow their usual routine for meals, walks, and play. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. Comfortable Environment: I create a calm, clean space with cozy bedding, access to their toys, and anything familiar that helps them relax. With my veterinary training and full-time availability, I’m dedicated to making your pet feel safe, happy, and loved.
A typical day
A typical day for your pet with me would include plenty of attention, playtime, and a balance of exercise and relaxation. Morning: I start the day with a fresh walk, tailored to your pet’s energy level—whether it’s a brisk jog or a more relaxed stroll. Afterward, we’ll have breakfast and settle into the day. Midday: Depending on the pet’s needs, I offer interactive playtime with their favorite toys or mental stimulation activities like treat puzzles to keep their mind sharp. Afternoon: If your pet enjoys it, I’ll take them on another walk or trip to a nearby park, providing them with a chance to socialize with other pets or just enjoy some fresh air. Evening: We’ll wind down with quiet time, snuggles, or a calm walk before dinner. I always make sure pets are settled in for a comfortable night’s sleep with their familiar routines. Additional Fun: I enjoy teaching tricks or working on basic commands with pets who are open to it, as it’s both fun and mentally stimulating for them. Throughout the day, I stay mindful of your pet’s specific needs, whether that’s medication, special care, or extra reassurance. I make sure they feel loved, safe, and comfortable every step of the way.

Here are a few things I’d like to know ahead of time: Dietary preferences and restrictions: What is your pet's usual feeding schedule, and do they have any allergies or special dietary needs? Medications and health concerns: Are there any medications, medical conditions, or health issues I should be aware of? This includes things like daily medications, any restrictions on activity, or any past surgeries. Behavior and personality: Does your pet have any behavioral quirks I should know about? For example, do they get nervous around other pets or prefer to be alone? Are there certain activities they love (or dislike)? Emergency contacts and vet info: It’s important to have the contact information for your vet and any emergency contacts, just in case. Comfort items and routines: Does your pet have a favorite blanket, toy, or bedtime routine? Anything I can do to make them feel more at home while you're away. House rules: Are there any special instructions about your home or how your pet should be cared for, like preferred spots to sleep or areas to avoid? By understanding these details, I can ensure that your pet is comfortable, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away.
