About Christine M.
Cat skills
Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets and entering your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, behavior changes, and household details to help keep pets comfortable and reduce stress while you’re away. I’m careful about securing doors, gates, and windows and always aim to create a calm, respectful environment during visits. I also believe communication is key, so I provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re being well cared for.
Information Christine M. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their normal routine, personality, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs. Helpful information includes feeding schedules, medications, favorite toys or hiding spots, litter box routines, and whether your cat is social, shy, anxious, or has any triggers. I also appreciate knowing about anything that helps your pet feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, as well as emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and any household instructions relevant to their care. The more I understand your pet’s usual routine and personality, the better I can help them feel relaxed, secure, and well cared for.
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I try to keep pets’ routines as consistent and stress-free as possible. A typical visit includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime or enrichment, and plenty of attention based on each cat’s personality and comfort level. Some cats want interaction and play, while others prefer a calm, quiet presence, and I’m happy to adapt to what helps them feel most comfortable. I also make time to check on your pet’s overall well-being and make sure everything in the home looks secure and in order before I leave. After each visit, I send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Reliable, caring cat care
Cat care experience
I’ve cared for cats and other animals for many years, both for my own pets and for friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, administering basic medications, and adjusting to different cat personalities and temperaments. I understand that some cats are social and playful while others are shy or easily stressed, and I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m also highly communicative and detail-oriented, and I know how important consistent updates and reliability are when someone is trusting me with their pets and home. While I’m newer to Rover, I take pet care seriously and strive to provide calm, dependable, attentive care every visit.
Reviews
Christine has watched my dog and I've also seen how she handles cats. Both experiences gave me full confidence in her. She's attentive, calm, and clearly knows animal behavior. My dog came back happy and well cared for, not just fed and ignored. What stood out: she communicates reliably, follows routines without having to be micromanaged, and genuinely seems to enjoy the animals in her care. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like it matters, Christine is the person. I'd have her care for my pets again without hesitation.
