I'm at home full time and so I can take care of your pet anytime throughout the day. This allows me to stick closely to their routines, spend lots of time with them without being in a rush, and provide attention, play, and check-ins as needed instead of fitting care into a tight schedule.

Please let me know about their feeding/potty schedule, favorite toys, quirks, fears, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. This way, I can care for them the way you do and keep their days as normal and stress-free as possible.
A typical day
A typical visit with your pets is a mix of play, care, and keeping things feeling normal for them. For cats, I’ll spend time playing with wand toys, tossing around their favorite toys, or bringing along a few mental stimulation games if they’re curious and in the mood. If they’re more the quiet type, I’m also happy to just sit nearby and cuddle/pet them if they allow it, if not I'll just let them do their thing. For dogs, we’ll get some energy out with games like fetch or tug-of-war, dog parks or puzzle toys if they enjoy a challenge. If your dog prefers a calmer pace, we’ll keep things relaxed and be a couch potato together. I'll always follow your preferences and look to your pet’s mood that day. Some days are playful, some days are chill, and that’s perfectly okay. My goal is for your pets to feel happy, cared for, and relaxed while you’re away.

Right now, my husband and I have 3 mischievous cats and 1 very sweet Australian Shepherd, so things are usually a little busy (and never boring). I know it’s not easy leaving your pet with someone else, so I try to make things feel as comfortable and familiar as possible for them. I pay attention to their routine, their energy, and the small things that help them relax. Having an Aussie has definitely taught me patience and how to calmly work with high-energy dogs, especially when it comes to basic training and structure. I genuinely care about the pets I look after and treat them like my own. My goal is for your pet to feel happy and relaxed, and for you to feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands while you’re away.

Selena did a great job taking care of my dog, BB. Before coming over, she asked about his routine, personality, and my preferences, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving him with her. She made sure BB was fed, comfortable, and not lonely, and she actually spent time playing with him in the backyard and giving him attention instead of rushing through the visit. I felt really at ease trusting Selena in our home (which means a lot with all the horror stories you hear). She sent updates and plenty of photos, and BB looked happy and relaxed the whole time. She’s kind, reliable, and easy to communicate with—I’d definitely book her again! 🐶✨
Selena did a wonderful job walking Zeus. Even though he’s a sweet boy, he can be a lot around people at first but he immediately liked Selena. He can also be reactive to other dogs, but she managed him calmly and confidently. It was their first time together, and she handled him with ease. She’s also very communicative and detail oriented, so I wasn’t worried about him eating something bad on the walk or getting loose.
